It was a skull.

A human skull.

I panicked and started breathing heavily.

Eyes wide with fear, I tried to stand up and run away, but my arm accidently touched the skull.

I let out a squeal.

My-

I stumbled away from the skull and ran as far away as I could.

My arm!!!

My arm just-

It just touched the skull-

I started panicking a bit, I had just seen a REAL skull!!!!

I ran stumbeled/hopped/ran/jogged back to my Mamas, and frantically, waving my arms, I tried to explain to them what I had just seen, "Mama C, Mama D!!! I just- You won't believe what I just saw!!! I just saw a skull!!! A human skull!!!"

"

What?!" Mama D spun around to the direction where I had pointed.

Mama D just LOVED these dark things.

But when I turned around to show her, the skull was gone.

Completely gone!

It had just vanished into thin air!

"Are you sure that you saw a skull, sweetheart? Are you okay?" Mama C touched my forehead as if checking if I had fever.

"I am hundred percent sure!!! My arm even accidentally touched the skull!!! I know, this sounds fake, but it isn't!!! Please, trust me!!! I just saw a real human skull!"

Why didn't they believe me?

Didn't they trust me???

"Ciara, dear," Mama C said softly, "It's been a long day. Let's eat and then go to sleep, shall we?"

She took my arm, as if I was sick, and led me back to the hotel, where we ate a bit.

Then, we went back to our rooms - Mama C and Mama D stayed in one room, I had my own.

Gosh, I was really happy I had my own room, I don't even know what they probably did in their room!!!

After playing in the water for soo long, I was really tired, so I just took a really fast shower and went straight to bed.

And, before I even realized it, I was fast asleep.

Sia's POV

I felt something.

But-

That shouldn't be possible, right???

I was supposed to be dead!!!

Gem, my supposedly "best friend", had murdered me in my own room.

Then... why was I feeling so weird???

I opened my eyes.

I started gasping for air and tried to stand up.

I was in the middle of a forest, I realized.

Surprisingly, that was really easy, compared to the fact that I had just been dead.

I stood up, and looked down.

And my eyes widened.

I looked at my hands, but... there were no hands, just emptiness.

That shouldn't be possible.

What was going on here???

Just then, I noticed that I was standing on something.

I looked down and saw no legs pf mine, just like I couldn't see my hands.

But that was not the thing, that made me panick.

I started breathing heavily, gasping for air, I tried to understand what I was seeing.

This couldn't be real.

Was this Afterlife?

Was I in heaven or hell?

But...

I could still feel!

I had emotions!

I looked down once again, I just had to know that I wasn't hallucinating.

A cold shiver ran down my spine, my heart probably wanted to break the world record of the fastest beating, it was THAT fast.

Wait-

I didn't even have a heart-

Then, why did it feel like I had one???

I looked down, and shook my head.

No, no, no!!!

This couldn't be!!!

This just couldn't be!!!

Because, what I saw under me, was my own body.

My dead, pale body.
