"The world was once dark and gloomy. So cold and so lifeless. It was a lightless world where nothing could thrive. The world was a frozen star in the midst of the pitch-black darkness. Lost in the darkness of agony, the world was chained to a dark sea of endless misery. Until from the darkness depths of that sea a light emerged. The light so bright inside that gloomy world that it reached far and wide in the world. Brining forth warmth to that world of lost coldness where soon life began to blossom and with time evaluation began."
"In the center brightness a life emerged and a creature which took the shape of a human formed. The creature became the first Goddess of the world and will forever remain as the sun's bright spirit. Chasing the darkness away. The Maiden's light is what breathes light to the world and all that lives there. With her light the world became green. The darkness forced itself to change as well, and with it a creature also became true. Attacking the world and brining forth the cold. The Goddess of light fought back. To protect the world, she set foot upon the land and became the land."
"The darkness was chased and banished forever. While the Goddess became the land, and she became the first Queen of the world. Her life force is what keeps life breathing, and she will always be there for the humankind, to protect and shield from the eternal darkness. Her descendants have sat on the throne of the world ever since and control the land and keep all peace within the land. The world is hers, and she is the bringer of the eternal light where the darkness cannot find nor touch to bring forth the misery and pain on us."
Closing the book with a sigh, Aithne sets it carefully down on the desk in front of her. "The books are wrong." She announces to the only person in the room and her only friend; Edmon. He stands by the door and watches her with a watchful eye, a small smirk on his face. Edmon raises one of his thick brown eyebrows at her words. "Are there? Or are you?" He asks her with a strange tone. She turns to look at him and rolls her vibrant blue eyes at his questions. "We both know the true events." Aithne says.
He scoffs. "Do we?" He asks. Confused at his behavior, she sits down but doesn't look away from him. "What is it with all these questions?" She asks him. The girl watches his shrug. "Boredom. There isn't much that I'm allowed to do." He tells her. Aithne already knew that. She lets out a sigh. "You are allowed a great many things when the time comes, do not forget that our lives are intertwined with a great and powerful destiny." She reminds him of the things both of them already know. Sometimes it can get lost and forgotten to the both of them.
Edmon sharply nods, then he clears his throat. "Should you not be out there?" He asks her. The girl gives him a knowing look. "I suppose that is what I am meant to." She speaks with a small sadness within her voice, the sorrowful look in her blue eyes can be seen by Edmon. Aithne stands up from where she had sat down. Eyeing the book with almost this hatred, the girl wishes that it would be destroyed and hopes her look would do just that. It doesn't. The book which is old from age stays there still.
In her white nightgown, the girl walks into the bathing chamber, where a bath has already been prepared for her. Closing the heavy wooden door, she locks it. Then she slowly removes her nightgown and sets it aside. The steam from the bath fills up the room around her. Aithne is not bothered by it. Only a small smile comes to her face when she walks to the bathtub, where she slowly dips her body into the almost boiling hot water. The temperature from the water does not bother her much, or at all.
Her blue eyes close as she welcomes the hot water around her. Aithne's naked body lies there and soaks in the water. The bathing chamber is large, and while it does not carry a window to the outside world, it does hold wonders. The room has the reflecting glass mirrors all around for the room is also used to properly dress her. The smile on her face grows wider as she finds this sense of peace come forth within her. There are no sounds that come inside the bathing chamber, the silence is comforting and yet loud, but also wonderful.

The rising sun shines through the cracks on the closed window of Aithne chambers. All around her, the maids are preparing her. She has already been dressed into her gown, a simple black gown as a sign of her grief period which began only some days ago. Edmon watches her without taking his eyes off her. He had given her privacy when she was bathing. He is not only her most trusted Guard, but he is also her friend, and the two of them have always been close to one another. Aithne however, does not look towards him, but rather at the wall.
The wall is not special, carries some hand craved patterns that are shaped like flowers, and they do appear beautifully made. Inspire some sense of beauty within this room, which has been her home and her safe haven. With time the beautiful patterns become ordinary and Aithne could stare at them for hours without truly seeing the beauty for she has grown used to it. The girl stands there and allows her maids to do their thing. With only one of them tidying up the room as the others tend to her, creating the perfect girl out of her.
Once the maids have put all the jewelry on her, and prepared her like she is meant to be, she dismisses them. Looking into the only mirror which stands in her chambers, she looks at herself. Her wooden brown wavy hair has been neatly placed in a bun, where some silver jewelry holds her hair together. Around her neck is a single silver pendant, which she has had for a long time. Aithne eyes herself, and yet in all her blackened clothing she feels like she does not belong. Her heart is paining, but her head is kept high.
"Your beauty will always shine the best." Edmon speaks. His voice, the only sound she could hear. Her eyes shift from her to him where he stands by the door, he has not moved from that spot for a long time. "None of that is important. I am not meant to shine, I am meant to rule. And I cannot do that if I have to shine like a Princess." She tells him. He scoffs. "A Princess you are not, you are a Queen, Aithne." He says. Edmon gives her a look that she understand, but chooses to ignore.
"I am not a Queen yet, Edmon. I will be, soon." She reminds him. He rolls his eyes at her words. "You've always been my Queen." He tells her. In the mirror, Aithne looks into his green eyes. Even from afar, she can see the truth within them. She lets out a breath before she turns around to face him. "Perhaps." She mutters and then she walks over to him. Edmon stands by the doors to the chambers, and as she walks over to him. He finally moves. Turns around and pushes the doors open for her where he bows his head down in respect of her.
The hallways are poorly lit. With some candles here and there. The darkness in the castle is to show the grief and the sadness that is heavily on them. As soon as she starts walking, taking one step at a time, Edmon follows behind her along with two other guards. The two guards handpicked by Edmon to protect the girl and will lay down their lives to serve her. Aithne's head is high, and she is straight in her posture as she walks down the hallways. Knowing her way around and knowing where she is meant to walk towards.
The throne room is just as gloomy as the entire castle itself, given that the mourning period has begun. It is also a period that they should celebrate for the girl that walks the hallways. That has people bowing before her as she walks past them, is about to become Queen. The coronation is about to take place and soon enough Aithne will become the ruler of this kingdom. The Queen that is supposed to protect and serve and rule this land that is before her, she is meant for great things during her reign.
Thoughts run wild within her mind, and they never seem to be able to leave her, a storm within her body has blossomed and is there to stay. None of that can be seen on her. The girl does what she is meant to do, and she keeps her face as well as her eyes emotionless. To remain true to herself. Hiding all the pain and the agony that she may feel within her chest. To show the strength that lives within her, even if that strength is an illusion that she is forced to put up; a mask.
Entering into the gloomy throne room, and seeing all the people that have come to watch as she will be crowned Queen, and yet seeing the sorrow that hangs in the air around them. The music is heard throughout the entire throne room as she walks on the red carpet that has been neatly laid for her to walk upon. A great throne in front of her, which is her place to sit upon and rule as the Queen of this kingdom. Aithne walks towards the High Priestess that will crown her in moments. Until the girl has walked up the steps and stands in front of the High Priestess.
The cheering and the clapping which she had drowned out go silent once the High Priestess lifts her hand up in the air. Aithne turns around to face the people that she will soon lead, and her heart pounds within her chest. It is her destiny to rule this kingdom, and she will not fail them nor herself. She will become the Queen that they deserve and the Queen that she needs to be for herself, to find that strength within herself instead of it being an illusion, it would become true.
"Such wonders that have been granted to us this day, let us all leave behind the shadows of yesterday and move forward to the future. The fallen King will forever remain in our hearts, yet it is the future that we must always find within us. That future comes to us in the form of our Princess Aithne who will today become our Queen. With her leading us, the greatness is not far behind. She will bring forth a new era." The High Priestess speaks to the people. Aithne does not look at the people, rather her eyes are on Edmon where he stands by the door.
A proud smile comes to his face, and he gives her a nod. As the High Priestess was about to speak once more, a great gust of wind flows through the throne room. The fire from all the candles is blown out by the strength of the wind. Leaving them all in darkness, except for the still rising sun that has greeted them. Gasps and whispers are heard through the entire throne room. Then the doors to the throne room burst open and someone walks inside, catching everyone's attention. "I command this coronation to continue no more!" The figure speaks.
