π (Sixteen)
I wince as I walk back into my room. Will Hekate keep her mouth shut? I honestly didn't know. I pull the cloth off. Oh... it makes me want to puke. I almost did this time. It's getting worse. I can't keep this secret anymore. It's burning my leg. It's burning my mind. I sit down on a chair and I let out a raspy breath.
"What am I supposed to do?" I mutter.
All you have to do is not lose your head.
I jump. I look around.
"Who said that?" I ask.
I take up my staff and it glows brightly for a spilt second like a camera flash. It doesn't shake. So... I'm alone. There's no type of evil spirit or ghost around. It sounded like a dream in my head and the words weren't really clear.
Come back.
"Huh?" I look around.
Find the truth.
Truth? What truth?
Your father's lying to you.
"Huh?" I scratch my head.
Typhon.
"Typhon? He's long gone." I mutter.
I hear a knock. I jump and slam into the roof accidentally.
"Hermes! We need to talk!" Athena yells.
"Um... why?" I call.
"Hekate called me!" Athena yells.
A drop of sweat drops from my head.
"And...?" I ask nervously.
"Just open the door." Athena says.
"And if I don't?" I ask.
"That would not be wise." Athena says.
"Alright." I wince.
I limp over and I open the door slightly. Athena pushes past me and walks in without a second thought.
"I-" I start.
"Let's see the wound." Athena says.
