Calidain get up and brushes himself off.

"You're hurt." I say.

I look at his wounds. Calidain rolls his eyes. I watch as the wounds heal instantly.

"Oh right. Sorry, forgot." I say.

"No matter." Calidain takes out his sword.

I see more of these creatures jump down.

"These are... unique." I say.

"I must admit not even I have seen them before." Calidain says.

They charge at us.

I throw my dagger forward. I can see their tails dart forward. They have four, surprisingly. I dodge the tail. I see the barb. It looks poisonous. If I had to guess, I'd be in trouble if they touch me. One charges at me I dodge its barb. Calidain throws himself at them.

"Don't be so reckless!" I yell.

"It wouldn't matter anyway." He sighs.

Oh right. I keep forgetting he has lives to spare. Another one jumps behind me. I dodge. I feel its stinger slice through my lower chest area. I wince. That's not good. I slam into the ground. I wince as I grip my stomach, I feel the blood leaking out and the poison leaking in. 

"Vax! Are you okay?" Calidain calls.

I turn. Another one rams into me. I wince. I feel blood escape my throat. Its scaley/hairy even, claws slam me down. I hiss through the pain. I look up at them. God dammit, my vision is blurring. I see Calidain running forward and then... nothing.
