~Forty-Seven~
"What do you mean we don't have to fight?" I ask.
"We can be heroes of this world." Valynon smiles.
"Heros? Heh... there is no such thing." I spit.
"Hey!" Pike yells.
"You guys are not heroes, sorry, but you're not." I call.
"He's got a fair point." Vax and Vex both say.
"These chattering animals need a god to pass divine judgement." Valynon says.
"Divine judgement? Are you fucking nuts?" I ask.
"I have seen this world crumble and decay for too long. I'm a hero." Vaylnon says.
"What makes you think I would help you?" I ask.
"It's adorable that you think you have a choice." Valynon says.
He shoots his hand out. Shadows rise up from the ground. I jump back. I throw my blood magic out. He shoots forward. I throw my sword out. He swats it like a fly. I jump in surprise. He grabs my neck. I wince. He throws me into the ground.
"Leave him alone!" Vax yells.
I wince as I shakily stand up. My wounds heal instantly. I take up my sword.
"Don't fight me, it's already too late for you." Valynon says.
I shoot up. I slam my sword into his hand. He barely flinches. I slam him back using my blood magic. I throw myself forward. Valynon floats down. I jump down. I charge. I throw my sword forward.
"I tire of this, of you, we are waiting time!" He shoots me back.
I get thrown into the air again, but this time is different. Valynon's blood magic was tying me. Tethering me up. It was flowing around me. It was tying me like a web. I wince. I feel darkness flooding into my lungs- chocking me. I see his magic ripping my body open. I struggle just to move my fingers.
"Calidain!" Vax screams.
"Now it is time to upheave the world." Valynon flies up to me.
