I'm... trying to be cool. I'm trying to hold my head up high. How does he look so... strong? How does he look like stone? I'm trying so hard but in reality.I'm pissing my pants. Calidain... I love you. I really fucking do. I don't know what the fuck I'm supposed to do. I want to hold you. I want to... never mind. It's all just a stupid fantasy.

"Brother, are you okay?" Vex asks.

"Yes." I say.

"I know you better than that." Vex says.

"I'm sure you do." I roll my eyes.

"Calidain doesn't know what love is by the way. He told me he had forgotten." Vex says.

I look at her in surprise. 

"I think he does and so do you." Vex looks at me.

"About what I said earlier huh?" I ask.

"You do know he wants to die." Vex says.

I look down.

"We have to let him use the dagger on himself." Vex says.

"I... no. There is another way." I say.

"There isn't." Vex says.

"There has to be. I have to... never mind." I push off of her.

I walk next to Calidain. He turns his head from me. I look around. This place is darker than anything I've ever seen before. It's also kind of cold. I turn and see Pike's light blinking. That's not a good sign.

"Are we sure we're going the right way?" Percy asks.

"Honestly, no. I only went here once and to be perfectly honest. I was hoping never to return." Calidain sighs.

"Well, this is just fucking perfect." Percy sighs.

"Just keep up and don't go ahead of me. There are monsters here that are worst than nightmares." Calidain warns.
