I wipe the blood off my face. Toothless was running around. I'm trying to avoid them. I saw their faces. I saw the fear. I grip my fists. They think I'm a monster. I run my hand over my beard. Toothless growls at me.

"Okay. Okay." I say. 

I sit on top of him.

"Man did this saddle shrink?" I ask. 

He growls and coos. I put my leg in its stand. It still feels the same. I look up at the sky. It's beautiful. It's like the ocean. I'm sorry, bud. It's been ten years since I had flown us. I guess I can make up for all the long time. 

"Let's go." I bend my foot.

The tale opens. We shoot into the sky.  I feel the rush of air through my hair. It feels amazing. Toothless roars in the air. He drives through the air. I hear her caw. I turn and see her flying next to me.

"Beautiful day my lord." She says.

"Yeah, it is." I feel a tear drop down my face. 

It's been so long since I saw the sun like this. It was beautiful. It feels amazing. The wind in my hair. I extend my arms wide to feel the full sun. I remember this feeling. I've always chased it. I'm glad to chase it once again.
