"Hey, you heard that ?" as the man said "Heard what ?" as the woman said "Sounded like lighting or something."

"There's no lighting, it's just very foggy." as the woman said "I just want to make sure, if it is raining, we won't be able to see the comet." as the man kissed her cheek and went out of the tent.

A couple of minutes later the woman heard dripping noises on the tent, she smiled. "I told you it was going to rain. Now come on !" once she didn't hear anything she got nervous as she said "Babe ?"

She then looked up to see her husband in a tree and blood running down the tent. She let out a horrific scream before ruining to her car.

"Open! No! Please!" as she tried to get her car open, after a couple of tries her car beeped. She looked around nervously and before she could get in someone came down and killed her.

That's when my alarm went off. I groaned turning to my side. I felt around my desk before finding my phone and snoozing it. After a couple of minutes it went off again.

My eyes went wide in annoyance before I groaned putting my pillow over my face. Saige groaned, "Turn it off." as I ignored her before flipping on my face and going back to sleep.

Saige then threw her pillow at me. It hit me hard in the back of the head. "Ouch !" I said as Saige rose up.

She looked like didn't want to be woken up. Her hair was tied into a messy braid as she had a gray t-shirt and socks.

I then produced to turn my phone off. That's when my eyes went wide. It was the first day of school.

"Crap !" I said rising off my bed as I produced to get ready.

"What ?" Saige huffed as I said "First day." as she said "Oh yeah." unenthusiastic as she wrapped herself in her blanket before going inside the bathroom.

I stepped over Annabelle before said "Wake up Ann !"

Annabelle looked at me before turning to her side with a groan. "I know, I know, but I need you to get up. It's your first day." as she groaned, "Five more minutes."

I said "Up." before kicking her in the side.

She flinched as she rose up. "You need a brush." I told her as she said "No duh." as she rose up before stretching as she folded her blanket and put my extra pillow on my bed as I put it in the laundry basket since she did drool on it.

She rolled her eyes at me before pushing her mattress under my bed. She yawned loudly. Saige came out, with her uniform on. She wore a navy blue and red checked cotton blend pants with a matching sweater vest and slip on black and white vans.

"You look nice." I told her as she said "I'm tried and I don't feel like school today."

I said "Hey. Positive vibes." as I pointed my curly iron at her since I was curling my hair. "An go get dress you have a 1 to get ready before I have to drop you off."

"Ok, ok, ok don't rush me." as she made her way inside the bathroom.

Saige proceeded to go inside my mini fridge and get one of her vanilla Premier Protein Shakes, which I sometimes like to drink, but complained about the chalk taste and in return Saige would ask me what I expected from a protein shake.

"Can you threw me one." I said in my bra and underwear as Saige threw one at me.

I ripped the top open before finishing my hair and throwing my uniform on. I was wearing my stockings with my crop button blouse which left me pale stomach exposed along with a plaid skirt, my black tie and some loafers as my hair was curled down my back.

"Ok, got my keys and my bag is all packed." as I checked the time on my phone along with texting my mom and dad good morning like I promised. Saige then ask "Hey curl my hair for me." as I nodded.

I produced to quickly curl her hair for her. I ended up putting in in a high ponytail. I banged on the door. "Ann, come on !"

"I'm coming." as she opened the door toothbrush in mouth. She was dressed though. She was wearing a royal blue bodysuit with black jeans a hoodie jacket and wedge sneakers.

"You're dressed good, now come on." as Saige told me, "I'm off. Lock the door for me." as she grabbed her bag, "Ok, see you in second period." as she waved goodbye before saying to Annabelle.

"Good luck on your first day." as Annabelle said "Thanks Saige." before Saige closed the door.

"Come on!" I told her as Annabelle said "What about breakfast, you can't expect me to last a hour without breakfast !" as Stefanie said "No time, come on, we'll get something on the road." as I closed the door.

Annabelle huffed as she made her way towards the door before closing it and locking it.

𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒍𝒐𝒕𝒕𝒆

𝑰 𝒃𝒓𝒖𝒔𝒉𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉 𝒎𝒚 𝒉𝒂𝒊𝒓 𝒂𝒔 𝑰 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒈𝒆𝒕𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒚 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒇𝒊𝒓𝒔𝒕 𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝑱𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒐𝒓 𝒀𝒆𝒂𝒓. 𝑰𝒕 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒂 𝒃𝒓𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒔𝒖𝒏𝒏𝒚 𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆.

I was wearing a denim roll up sleeve shirt tied shirt with a pink skirt and heeled booties. I put on lip gloss as I snapped my bracelet on.

I was thrilled for this year nothing could ruin it. I looked at my text messages to see some from the cheer girls and others from Stefanie, Saige and Mackenzie.

I texted back in a hurry before shoving my computer in my bag and making my way downstairs.

I rushed downstairs only to be meet with my mother who was rushing aswell looking as though she was late for work. Her hair was in a side bun as she wore her pink blazer with jeans and slides with a regular yellow shirt. 

"Yes, yes I'm on my way." she told her boss on the phone as she prepared herself a cup of coffee.

I made my way through her in order to grab my water bottles in doing so she kissed my forehead good morning.

I sat at the table as she slid me my favorite go healthy oatmeal. Which was strawberry and blueberry. I smiled and began to dig in.

"Thank you sir. Well do." as she got off the phone before sighing. "You have no idea how much of a pain bosses can be." as I gulped down my coffee saying "That is why I keep telling you to quit the media and work from home."

"You are only saying that because you miss me working from home." as I said "Duh to have your famous spaghetti be ready when I get home from school is always a life saver momma."

"I haven't worked from home since being pregnant with you, I doubt they would let me do it again." as I slid my bowl to the side.

"Mom, you should do you. You tell me that all the time." as she said "Because I'm a mom and I come up with motivational words like that." as I chuckled.

"Ok, you are going to be late and you don't wanna do that on your first day." as I climbed down from my seat as my mom slid me my lunchbox.

"Mom, a lunchbox ?" I said looking at my old butterfly lunchbox. I smiled at it. "Yes I know, cheesy, but I miss packing you lunch. It's only for today though."

"It's a Mom's Special Burrito Bowl, made with mom's love." as I grinned. "Thanks mom." I told her as she said "Your welcome Bunny Boo." as I grabbed my keys.

"I love you." she told as she said "Have a good day." as I said "Love you too." making my way to my car. I put my hair behind my ear as I whistled to myself.

I had sensed somebody was following me or looking at me. I looked back. There was nothing but I can a close feeling.

"Hello ?" I asked out. Once nobody said anything I simply rolled my eyes and got inside my car as I put my bag to the the seat next to me and drove away.

𝑴𝒂𝒄𝒌𝒆𝒏𝒛𝒊𝒆

𝑰 𝒈𝒓𝒐𝒂𝒏𝒆𝒅 𝒊𝒏 𝒃𝒆𝒅. 𝑰 𝒉𝒂𝒅𝒏'𝒕 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝒈𝒐𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒏 𝒅𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒚𝒆𝒕.

My head was spinning out of control. I was seeing things. The vampires I'd killed when saving Stefanie's parents. It's like their death's were being played in my head a thousand times and I was at the central of it all.

I also heard the voices of my ancestors calling to me. Screaming at me really.

"Kill them !"

"The vampires will die, with or without you !"

"It's either you or them !"

It all stopped when I heard a knock on my door. I groaned out "Go away." as I put my pillow over my head

I then heard "That's no way to start off the first day of Junior Year." as the door open as I saw my dad holding a bowl of cereal and juice.

He was in uniform and he had a smile on his face. I peered from my pillow.

"Dad." I said as he told him, "Come on. I just made the juice, it's fresh, just like you prefer."

"Not feeling school today." I told him turning on my side as he said "What ?! Impossible. There is nothing Mackenzie Victoria Penny Donovan loves more then learning."

"You've had straight A's since you were in daycare, and perfect attendance and I know you don't want to stop that now."

"It's high-school what's the worst I can miss ?" as my dad put the cereal down along with the orange juice as he said "Well-" as he looked to my book for the SAT.

"Well preparing for the SAT is one thing." as I huffed before rising up.

"Today is going to be great, eat, get dress and head downstairs."

I sighed. "Fine." as he kissed my forehead before leaving. My eyes trailed off to the photo of me and Charlotte when we were kids. I huffed.

Char made it clear she didn't like me in a romantic way, but I couldn't help it. I sighed before rolling my eyes and getting dressed.

I slipped on a purple rolled up denim shirt and black jeans and sneakers as I put my hair in a low braided ponytail. I slung my backpack over my shoulders as I stopped to get a apple as I began to eat it.

"I'm heading out dad." I told him as he said "Alright, make sure you have your weapons."

"Never leave home without them." as I waved goodbye before closing the door.

I walked down the stairs as I made my way towards my trucks.

I stopped when I got my keys out looking around. I felt like something was there watching me.

I slowly reached into my pocket pulling out my pocket knife. "Whoever is there, better come out so I can deal with you quick."

Once there was nothing that came out, I quickly went into my car and closed the door locking it as I put my seat belt on and stomped on the gas before pulling off.

My mind was only in one place Jackie. I had no clue if she was ok. I wish I could camp out at that hospital but I knew Stefanie would make me go to school.

I huffed as I bite down on my egg omelet. "Anna." Stefanie said knocking me out of my daydream.

I turned to look at her. "Huh ?" I said as she told me, "It's time to go." with a smile.

"Good luck you are going to rock this." as I said "Yeah, yeah. Motivational speech." as I fanned her away before I put my bag over my shoulders and closed the door.

I turned back to Stef when she said "Hey." as I turned to her as she told me "Have fun." with a shrug as I gave her a look.

She smiled before flipping her sunglasses off as she drove off.

I stood in the parking lot before walking inside the building.

I stood there at first, there was people in big crowds. I saw all the clicks right away to, people to avoid and stay away from.

The populars, jocks, emo/goths, anime/manga and even the losers. I didn't take my first step until I heard "Annabelle !"

My head snapped as I saw Charlotte standing right in front of me. I jolted. She had on a cherry smile.

"Hi Charlotte." I grumbled

"So who's ready for there first day ?" as I said "I guess." as Charlotte said "Positive vibes, ok ?"as she pointed at me. I nodded as we walked to my locker. "Here is your locker code, test it out." she said leaning on the side.

I started to put in the combination. "Thought it wasn't cool for juniors to talk to freshmen ? Oh sorry fresh meat."

"Oh don't be like that Anna. You are my best friend's little cousin and that's just what some juniors think." as we both noticed the combination wasn't working.

"Dar it, your combination ins't working. Have to talk to the Principal about that one."

I simply banged on it twice and kicked it with my knee as it opened. Charlotte said "Oh that works's to." with a smile as I smirked back to her.

I put my books inside. "Be free to decorate it." as I said "Mine of course is decorate pretty and pink." as I grumbled "Typical." as she asked "What's your first class ?"

I looked down. "Trigonometry" I said unenthusiastic. "Ooo, don't worry. Math Magic helps."

I nodded scanning down to see Art as a elective. "Art ?" I said trying to sound surprising.

"Yep. Kenz and I signed you up after seeing your drawings." as I said "Thanks I guess." as we heard the first bell ring.

"Ok I have to go English. I'll see you later, have a great class." as she went and waved goodbye.

I folded my schedule, grabbed my notebooks as I walked to my first class.

I was wearing a burgundy sheer lace sleeveless bodysuit, my ring sitting on my finger and my hair was all over my face.

The door creaked open as Grace who's hair was in curls as she wore a white cami top V-neck satin top with matching white ruffled shorts.

She was carrying a long wooden tray that with a white cup of tea, a plate which held a buttermilk waffle, bacon and egg sandwich and flower vase with a rose, a glass of orange juice and a love note.

The plate had a sprinkle of sun flowers. She made her way towards me. She had a bright smile.

She stood up before saying in a sing song voice "Good Morning Tay Tay." as I stayed asleep.

She said "Ok, heavy sleeper night." as she cleared her throat and said "Good morning Tay Tay !"

I still stayed asleep. She sighed before saying "My Tay Tay." as she placed the tray down and produced to put sweet kisses on my body.

I grew a tiny smirk in my sleep. Grace noticed. "Now your awake." as I faced on my side to look at her. I smiled. "Good morning Grace."

"You're bedhead is really cute." as she gave a amused smile. I chuckled as I blew a piece out of my face.

"For me ?" I said looking at my breakfast on a tray. "Yes." Grace said as I sat up as she placed the tray in front of me.

"I woke up earlier and made you breakfast. Hope it taste nice." as she poured syrup on top.

I grabbed the sandwich as I bit into it. Some of it crumbled onto the plate. I licked my lips.

"Nice." I said hand over my mouth. "Yah." she said quietly as  I sipped my coffee as I said "That is only the start of our magical evening. I have a whole day plan."

"Oh you do ?" she asked me as I nodded to her.

"We are going to firstly go to a workout class together, go to a wine tasting, go to a panting class which I know you will enjoy, go horseback riding on the beach, and then learn the tango."

"Ooo." I said to her in a romantic tone as she said in a seductive playful tone "Wouldn't you love to tango with me Tay Tay ?" as I checked her out with a smirk putting my glass down.

"Someone's excited." as Grace said chippy "I am. We are here in the moment, living in a life away from supernatural problems." as Grace added, "I'm thrilled."

"We have a lot to get through, today is going to be good." as Grace said "I'm just happy, we are back toget-" as she stopped mid sentence before turning to me.

"Are we, "us" again Taylor ?" she asked playing with her fingers as she sat down on the bed.

I looked at her and grabbed her hands. "You own my heart." as Grace smiled and titled her head.

Grace took my cheek slightly and kissed it. I pulled away in order to give her a warm kiss on her lips.

She pulled away her pale cheeks red. I pinched them softly titling my head. "I've picked out a outfit for you. So get dress alright ?" as I said "I will."

Grace took her clothes for the gym before walking to the bathroom. I blushed to with a grin.

The door opened as I looked back as I noticed Stefanie sneak into class. Some students turned to look at her. She hopped into her usual sit next to me. A everything bagel in my her mouth.

I looked to her. "Where have you been ?!" I whispered yelled to her as Stefanie turned to me bagel still in mouth. My lips went into a straight line. I pulled the everything bagel out of her mouth and placed it on a napkin.

"I had to drop Anna off." as I asked "It took you that long ?" as she told me, "The roads were block with traffic." as I titled my head at her as she huff and added, "Plus I made out with Jo for a couple of minutes in the Janitor's closet."

"Typically Stefanie." I said shaking my head as she said "What ? Have you seen Josie today, her little skirt had me." as she pulled her notebook out. "How much did I miss ?" "The entire warm up. You're lucky Miss Thomas hasn't see you weren't here yet."

"It's Physics. I'm pretty sure I can live without it." as I said "Well, we have a SAT coming up for this class, so pay attention won't you." as Stefanie rolled her eyes before reaching from her bagel only for me to take it way.

We argued back and forth before Miss Thomas said "Miss Lockwood, Miss Salvatore." as we both turned to her, the class turned to look at us.

"If you to are here to horse around with one another, I recommend finding another classroom, possible an empty one to do it in."

Me and Stefanie both looked at each other our cheeks turning  erupted in a valentine-red.

Their were snickers in the class. Me and Stefanie then avoided eye contact. Piper then said "Awe look their holding hands."

Me and Stefanie's eyes slowly went to our hands. We were indeed holding hands. I turned even more red.

We removed our hands from one another. More snickers came into the room I turned to look at Piper before my werewolf eyes faded in and I snarled at her.

Stefanie narrowed her eyes to. I huffed before Miss Thomas went back to teacher. "Piper is such a female dog." I hissed as Stefanie said "A huge one." as I chuckled slightly at her. Stefanie saw and chuckled back.

"Watch this." I said to her before I grabbed her hand squeezing it again, it started to go into a blueish purple color. I was siphoning from her.

"Invidia." I said. With that Piper's nose started to bleed it went down her cheek. Stefanie looked in shock. It dripped down onto her paper. She felt under her nose and saw the blood.

She panicked before looking over to me and Stefanie. I smirked to her as Stefanie smirk to waving. Piper grunted before leaving. Me and Stefanie smirked at one another.

Stefanie went back to her work. I meet eyes with Miss Thomas. She looked straight at me. She wasn't happy. I meet eyes with her to. She folded her arms with a stern face.

My eyes fell as I went back to doing my work. Me and Stefanie walked out of class.

"Nice trick with the nose bleed." as I said "Thanks. Piper deserved it anyway." as Stefanie said "Catch you later, I have to head to Geography." as I said "Ok, bye." as I waved goodbye and headed towards the gym.

I saw Charlotte had came inside, along with Mackenzie. Charlotte did her lipstick as Mackenzie sat down in a desk across from her. She yawned. Charlotte noticed.

"Omg, Kenz you look terrible." Charlotte said as Mackenzie said "Thanks for sugarcoating." as Charlotte said "The movie tried you out that much ?" as Mackenzie said "No it's not that. I just got a bad nights sleep."

"Right before the first day surely doesn't sound like you. On the first day you got to sleep at 9:30 in order to have the perfect breakfast and pick out the perfect outfit."

"You know me well." she said as Charlotte said "I'm your bestie forget ?" as Mackenzie gave a slit grin before rubbing her eye and taking notes.

"Originally discovered nearly 5 centuries ago, it hasn't been over Mystic Falls in over 145 years. Now, the comet will be its brightest right after dusk during tomorrow's celebration." Mr Hines told the class.

While reading I noticed a piece of paper being throw at my head. I looked down and then behind to see a group of girls. I rolled my eyes and went back to sketching.

That's when they started do spit balls. I groaned to myself. "Cute clothes." one of them told me in a jokey manner.

"Yeah, totally garbage girl approve. " I started to eraser a eye I was doing, when the last piece of paper hit me I lost my cool.

I stood up from my seat after breaking the tip of my pencil as I threw a eraser at one of them it hit them clean in the face.

"Anymore comments ?!" I yelled to them. Everyone looked at me. "Miss Gilbert !" Mr Hines told me.

I looked at him and back at the girls. I got overwhelmed as I shoved my sketchbook and books into my bag before I stormed away.

I heard Mr Hines call my name but I didn't listen and continued to walk away as I left through the school's entrance.

Hope was wearing a some black Nike shoes with some black and silver Nike leggings and a cropped black and silver Nike Sport's Bra.

We were going back and forth with staffs.

"So you just set her away on her first day, no problems ?" as I hit her staff before adding "Nope, she seemed fine with it."

"I'm shocked, after yesterday I thought she wouldn't even breathe around you." as I chuckled before she aimed her staff at me as I caught it and said "We worked it out."

"Look at you solving problems all by yourself." as I said "Ha ha." sarcastic. Hope smiled.

I tried to kick her but she caught my kick and pushed me back as I caught myself and landed on my feet.

She didn't wait to strike at me. I struggled to keep up with her.

Hope was fast.

I caught her kick as I sent back as she landed on the ground.

I huffed tried. "Hope you alright ?" I asked as I held my hand out to her. She then use her bo staff to trip me as I fell hard on my back.

I groaned on the ground. "That's how much it's hurts."she told me as I said "I can feel a bruise coming."

She laughed at me as I grinned looking at her.

"Thanks for this." I told her as Hope said "You're not the only one who needed to clear her head."

"What was on your mind ?" as Hope sat up and said "You wouldn't care." as she sipped water in her bottle. I took her hand.

"Come on don't be like that. I always come to you with my problems time for me to return the favor."

She sighed before adding "You know how I'm the tribrid right ?" as I said "I know, the big bad powerful tribrid." as I playful shoved her shoulder.

She stayed quiet. "Sounds like you don't like being the big bad powerful tribrid."

"You have no clue the burden it is." as I said "No I don't. To be fair I have no idea what it must be like to be you. Having that weight be on your shoulders."

"My fate has been decided for me since I was born and there's no escaping it." as she asked me "How was it like when you became a vampire ?"

I sighed before looking out to the water as I said "Well when I first woke up I was terrified. My body was burning. My mouth was dry and my head was pounding. I knew I had died and I didn't know how I was awake. All I remember was screaming for my parents because I was that vulnerable."

"They comforted me and told me it was going to be ok and they were going to hold my hand through all of the transition."

"But I soon found out something inside me was different. I felt strange. Light hurt my eyes. And my ears were ringing. I wasn't the same."

"How did you get though it ?" as she huffed and said "By never giving up, and I kept going got my daylight ring and I learned how to control myself and that's what it's going to be like for you, minus the daylight ring."

"What if I won't be able to control myself ?" as I said with a smirk "Trust me there isn't anything you can't handle." as she smirked at me.

She leaned her head on my shoulder as I sipped water from my bottle.

A couple of seconds later my phone went off. I looked and saw it was from Mystic Falls High.

I answered it. "Hello. Yes this is her." Hope rose a brow seeing my worried expression.

I squinted my eyes at the words from the other lines. "Yes I understand. Don't worry I'll find her. Ok. Bye."

"Seriously Anna." as Hope asked "Everything ok ?" as I told her "Anna skipped school."

"Is she ok ?" as I said "That's what I'm going to find out." as Hope said "good luck." sipping her water as I waved goodbye to her as Hope smiled and waved goodbye too as I put my duffel bag over my shoulder as I walked off

We had just came from our workout class, and we were both currently having lunch together.

"Thank you very much." I told the waitress, as she handed me athe Shirley Temple I ordered as I took a sip.

I was wearing a floral dress with a denim jacket and gold sandals with black sunglasses.

"Mmm, Tay Tay it's amazing." as Taylor nodded, her head in her own world. I could tell aswell, she hadn't even touched her Appletini.

She was wearing a denim rolled up shirt, with denim pants and heeled shoes, her black sunglasses sitting at the top of her forehead and her hair was straight.

"Tay Tay ?" I told her. It knocked her out of her day dream. "Huh ?" she said.

"I was telling you how nice my Shirley Temple is." as Taylor said "Oh."

"Yeah oh." as Grace said "Hurry and drink your Appletini it might get hot." as she drunk a sip.

"Sorry, it's just my mind was somewhere else" as I asked "Where was it ?"

I made it to my locker as I grabbed an apple. I took a bite before I noticed Mackenzie. She looked drained.

"Sounds like she's made herself at home." as I chuckled "Kind of has huh ?" as I asked her "Going to the comet tonight ?" as she shurrged her shoulders, "I don't know for sure, probably gonna have to because Char's going to force me to go."

"Charlotte has you wrapped around her pink polished thumb." as Mackenzie smiled adding "Yeah she kind of does." as I said "Sorry things didn't work out between you to." as Mackenzie said "I'm over it."

Ezra said "Maybe she'll come around soon, you just have to give her some time." as she said "Yeah time-" she was then cut off with a small grunt holding her side.

"Kenz you ok ?" I asked her as she said "I'm fine." as she grunted again holding the other side.

"Kenz." as I said "Here let me see." as I lifted her shirt a bit only to see her bleeding mark, glowing and burning the outer side of her skin. "Kenz you're mark-"

I stood there as I sighed looking at her rush away.

I saw Annabelle doodling sitting on the sidewalk, while chowing down on Burger Falls famous Loaded Spicy Burger. Cheese sauce was on her cheek as she took another bite.

She put her burger down as she sipped her soda and used her hands in order to eat a small piece of her cookie that she ordered.

I closed the door to my car before asking "Is it good ?" she turned to me shocked that I had found her. "It was pretty easy to find you, I knew you go eat something good when you're in a bad mood."

While walking I heard "Saige." I turned to see my dad. I looked at him. He was wearing a green plaid shirt with jeans and sneakers. He held a candle in his hand too.

"Hey dad." I said eyes to the ground. "Hey, I was looking for you. Thought you would be with Stefanie, but she hasn't come yet."

I nodded as I crossed my arms. I then said "Yeah." there was a silence between them.

"Hey, got you and me a chilli dog, from the grill, thought we could share it together."

"Thanks." I grumbled taking it from him. He then sighed and said "Look Saige, I know that things have been difficult between us. With me be so busy with work."

"I know being the mayor isn't easy." I told him as he said "I know but I should learn to balance, something I have't been good at since I was your age, but your my daughter and I would give you the world if I could."

I fixed my stance. "It's just I see your mother in you." as my eyes lowered. "Beautiful blonde hair, fair skin and bluish-greenish eyes with a sarcastic demeanor, but also loyal, compassionate and dedicated to her friends and family."

"I know you don't hear me say this often, but I do love and care about you Wolf Pup." as I gave a slit smirk, "I love you too dad, sorry I don't say it often either."

He smirked at me back before he brought me into a hug. I hugged him back taking a bite of my chilli  dog in the the progress.

I was sitting at the bar as I sipped a class of whiskey. Grace was entertaining a crowd of people doing what she did best, playing the piano.

I sipped it as the waitress nodded going on. I turned back to Grace's performance. Once down she smiled. Everybody clapped for her as Grace got up from the seat and bowed. A nearby waitress gave her a drink.

She took it. I stood up and my seat and clapped for her always. She saw and smirked at me.

She came over. "Now that was a graceful performance." as Grace said "Just something I learned from my father, seems liked everybody love it though." as I said "I know I sure did." as Grace chuckled at me.

"This jazz club is great aswell, too bad there closing after tonight, because of the raising in rent." as I said "Yes it's sad. That's why I left the owner a 1000 tip."

"Look who's going soft" Grace said as she added, "I told you California was a amazing idea."

"Yes you did, and I'm not soft. I'm mean." as I did a little face, Grace narrowed her eyes and gave me a little kiss on the cheek.

A tray of jello shoots came as we grabbed one, she grabbed red and I grabbed the blue one as we gulped it down.

"I can't wait for tomorrow's activate." I said as Grace told her "It's going to be at treat." as we made our way to leave.

I took her hand as we went to the door, while doing, a group of people stood in our way.

"Excuse me darling, me and my girl are trying to call it a night."

The locals only stared at us blankly and stayed silent. I looked around noticing all of them looked at us blankly.

"What's happening ?" Grace asked me as I said "It's a trap."

Suddenly one of the local came and placed shackles on my hands. Grace and me noticed quickly. They all then pulled out weapons such as wooden takes, and broken glasses.

"There compelled." I told her as Grace said "Yeah I noticed, but the real question is who did it."

"Who knows." I said as Grace asked "The shackles."

"Prevent witches from using magic."

One of the local said "Did you honestly think to I wouldn't find you girl." talking directly to me.

"You ran away years ago, but now I will give you the death you deserve." the other said.

I chuckled with a smile and said amused "Aw, look who's scared to deliver threats to my face, compelling locals cheap trick. I'm going to enjoy killing you."

One of the local lunged to attack. Grace picked up a nearby pool table stick and broken it in half as she flipped it in her hand as she easily disarm him.

My eyes went to my hybrid ones as I broke free from the shackles before using the chain in order to wrap it around a local neck as I snapped his neck killing him instantly.

"Taylor don't kill them, there compelled." as I turned to her, "I'll kill them gentle to your likely." as she narrowed her eyes at me as another one came as Grace held her hand out to me as I removed the chain as she grabbed it as I swung her around as she kicked all the locals to the ground.

Grace removed the chain as we stood back to back. The other locals came at us.

"This is a horrible date night." Grace said as Taylor said "Pretend like were watching a action movie snuggled on the couch."

"Yeah expect were in the movie." as Grace charged and my hybrid eyes glowed.

I was wearing a white crop shirt underneath with a gray plaid dress over neath, my hair straight with a headband.

My dad had went off to go get my mom her favorite new time carving which was a large large pepperoni pizza with a side of buffalo wings.

My mom sat on the towel, me and my family were sitting at.

She pulled out the pulled pork sandwiches, the lemonade, the chips and the main dearest (and my favorite she's make) her lemon cake.

I sniffled the air smelling it. "Ooo." I said as I reached for a knife in order to cut myself a slice, before my mom slapped my hand away.

My mom drunk a glass of lemonade. "I have a question if my room going to get turned into the new nursery ?" as my mom said "No. Matt and Tyler are going to help Damon come over to help turn your old nursery into the new one."

I gave a pout. My mom noticed. "Stef, you're nursery has been out of order since you turned 3, it's going to be nice to give it a new clean up and re design it."

"Still am." I told her with a smirk sipping my lemonade that was in a cup. My mom smirked back before she gestured me to come over to her, she kissed my cheek.

I kissed her's and her baby bump as I ran my thumb over it. She smiled at me. "You're going to be a really cool big sister." as I grinned, which is when my dad said "Ok, pizza and wings are here."

"Finally grandma." she told him getting the plates out and the ranch. I stole a piece before my mom was going to most likely devour it.

"I brought the straws !" we heard as we saw Annabelle her hair in a half up half down ponytail as she was wearing a white shirt with a lace black top over neath along with light jeans that had black roses on them and some black and white converses

"Thank you Anna." my mom told her as she handed her a cup of lemonade. Annabelle sat on her knees. She down the cup in a couple of gulps. "I still can't believe your pregnant Aunt Elena. Another cousin for me to hang out with."

"More like annoy." as Annabelle narrowed her eyes at me as I smirked at her drinking my lemonade. "Be nice you to." my mom said to me and Annabelle.

"Cause dad barely has time to visit." as she grabbed two wings dipping them into ranch before eating them.

My mom rolled her eyes at dad as my dad hunched his shoulders taking a sip of his bourbon.

I rolled my eyes playful at them. I then felt somebody's hand's wrap around my neck and a kiss being pressed to my cheek. I turned to look to see Josie, she gave a bright smile at me.

Her hair was straight as she was wearing a black leather jacket with white sneakers and a blue cherry mini dress. I love it when she wore dresses, but Josie in pants and a pantsuit was hot as well.

"Hi." she said as I said "Hey baby." as we shared a little kiss. My dad cleared his throat to stop us when we went a couple seconds over 10 seconds.

"You skipped school earlier I was worried about you." as I said "Had to take a second to breathe, things have been going through my head."

I had a plate of nachos right next to me. I was about to hit one of billiard ball. "Mine if I play ?" as I turned to see a boy.

He was kind of cute. He had black hair and dark brown eyes, he also had a tall stature and an athletic build. He was wearing a green light hoodie with black jeans and sneakers.

I looked up at him rising a brow. He was the guy from Saige's gym class. "I'm kind of a boss at pool, you don't want a piece of me." as he said "I think I kind of do." with a flirty smile.

"So, you expected somebody ?" he asked picking up a pool stick as I asked "Are you flirting with me ?"

"Are you taking it that way ?" as I said "Yeah, blame it on the cheesy pick up lines." as I hit the ball going back to playing.

He didn't seem to want to give up. "You wanna a drink ?" as I told him lining up my stick "That won't work. Please try again."

He smirked. I guess he liked a girl who was playing hard to get. "I do have to tell you, you look incredibly hot tonight."

I blushed.

It was able to threw me off balance. I ended up not even getting one in the hole. He smirked at that. I huffed putting the stick down with force. "That would had been the best shot of my life !"

Josie played with my hair as we laid down. "The comet is so pretty Damon." my mom told my dad as she laid back on Dad's chest as Damon pinched her cheek and said "Not as pretty as you."

Nancy was in the bathroom as she removed her hair from her face. She took some of her anti depressions pills as she swallowed taking a sip of a glass of water.

After coming out of the bathroom, I saw the others. Saige, Nia, Ezra, Mackenzie and the other super squad members. They were all talking.

Annabelle had come over after talking with Jed and stole one of MG's onion ring. She smiled at him.

"You killed somebody !" she said to me. "Nancy, it's ok." as she backed away closer to the edge.

I was wearing a dark green stain shirt and pants set.

Stefanie was inside our bathroom as she was washing the blood from her face and clothes.

"Yep just a random vampire." as I said "This can't be just a mistake. Bodies drained of blood, and now a vampire is after you, you think it's Taylor and Grace ?"

"But the mansion been empty for months." "Taylor smart she knows how to go unseen."

Stefanie sighed as she said "I would be lying if I said no, think about it they been quiet for months now, it wouldn't be anything if they striked out of nowhere." as she came out of the bathroom.

"If they are coming back, I mean we have to be ready. I have to be ready. If Taylor finds out I'm alive it could mess up everything."

"Like faking your death." I said as she said "Yeah." as she added "And it's a lot to deal with even more now because I have Annabelle and I do not want her to get hurt."

"I know you don't and she won't get hurt." as Stefanie added, "Plus it was just one vampire, who knows how many are out there."

"And he said "She's been looking for you" as I said "Oh a woman running the show, #feminism." as I sipped my green tea.

"I'm serious Saige." she told me as I said "And so am I. I'm not trying to sound mean, but I think your letting Taylor get into your head, you been off for 3 days straight."

She looked at me. "Jo told me about your nightmare." as her eyes dropped as Stefanie said "So much for girlfriend confidentially is it a thing, it should be one."

"Jo, just worried about you and so am I, you been on edge ever since you know." as I put a finger to my throat to symbolism her "death."

I said "Yeah dead." as Stefanie hit me a glare.

"Whatever, I'm fine. I'm peach perfect." as Stefanie removed her white crop shirt and then zipped her gray plaid dress down.

I looked at her as she removed them both being left in her bra and underwear. Even if me and Stefanie weren't in a romantic relationship I couldn't look anyway from her body, she had one of a goddess.

"Trust me, I'm ok." as I said "Whatever you say." as I began to read over one of my essay. Stefanie walked around to get her top blue stain shirt with her short set.

She fluffed out her hair as she made her way on my bed before flopping down dramatically messing up my neat stack of papers in the progress.

She looked at me upside as I hit her in the head with my lead pencil. She held her head "Ow." as I grinned.

Josie then walked inside. Stefanie saw her.

Josie was wearing a pink cropped shirt with plaid pink pants as her hair was put into a messy bun. "Hey babe." Stefanie said as I waved "Hi Jo." she waved at us.

"Hey, ready for the movie ?" as she held a bowl of popcorn. "Yep, ready to watch Easy A again for the thousand time." as I said "This is twice this week." as Josie said "I know, but it's really good." she said with a short laugh.

Annabelle said "Me to." she was inside her bedroom to, or really it was Stefanie and Saige's room and Annabelle slept on a air mattress.

She was wearing a white lace shirt with grey polka dot shorts with fluffy socks.

"The comet was so pretty, it was magical to see." she told me as I told her, "The comet is magical to see, if you stick around you'll see alot of more festivals."

"I still can't believe this town has over 25 events." as I said "Yep." as she chuckled. "I think that is the first time I've seen you smile, you don't do it often."

"Not a lot to smile about." as I said "Tomorrow will be better for you Anna, high school's rough, you just have to get use to it."

"Yeah sometimes it just feels like I'm alone you know." I then told "In the end, you'll always have me."

Annabelle cheeks glowed red.

"Thanks Ezra, really. It's good to talk to someone." as I said "Welcome, see you tomorrow ?" I asked her as she nodded, "Yeah, bye." as I said "Bye." as she hung up ending the call.

I chuckled as I put my laptop to the side. "That was sweet of you to say." Nia grumbled in her sleep. I turned to see she was half awake half asleep.

She had a head wrap over her hair as she wore a silk black and white stain set. "I didn't know you were awake."

"Couldn't sleep. Plus your cold feet woke me up." as I said "Sorry baby." as she said "It's fine, you and Annabelle are close." as I said "You have nothing to fear Nia-" as she took my hand, "I know, and I trust you, more than you know."

"I trust you too, Now get some sleep cutie pie." as she blushed. "God you always make me blush so hard." as Ezra said "You know it." as they shared a kiss between one another.

Ezra cut off her light as Nia cuddled her wrapping her arms around her waist and nuzzling her face into Ezra's back as the two fell asleep.

Grace was standing in the middle of the room. Her hands on her hips. She was clearly mad that date night was ruined, she didn't even want to drink with me.

Around us were many dead bodies on the floor.

I rose my head from the dead woman neck as blood was running down my shirt. My hybrid eyes fading. I threw the woman's body to the ground.

"My girl's dead." as I licked my lips. "Such a tasty treat." as Grace stayed quiet.

"You didn't even join in, maybe you're not hungry." as Grace turned to me, "How could you even eat right now ?!" as I looked at her.

I rose my head at her. "You knew didn't you." she hissed to me as she said "You knew this whole time, that people have been watching us." as I said "Yeah I did."

Grace grew even more upset, "How dare you ?! You didn't even tell me." she made her way towards me and pointed her finger at me. I grabbed her finger, before I said "Of course I knew people were watching us."

"Because I didn't want to ruin your perfect little life, you're dying for us to have here." as Grace said "Because I don't want to go back to living a dangerous supernatural life !"

"Grace ! When are you going to learn that we can't escape who we are. You can't escape who you are." as she stayed quiet. I let her finger go before jumping off the table as I started to pace.

"People are always going to be after us. Planning and waiting for the kill ! They knew I've unlock my hybrid side and there coming for me !"

"And whoever is after me, is after you."  I said as Grace said "Fine, I don't care. We'll do whatever it takes."

I shook my head. Grace put her hand on my shoulder as I looked at her, she cupped my cheeks running her finger on them. She then kissed me. Our heads titled. She pulled away.

She took my hands and locked them with her own. "We will protect each other, like we always have Tay."

"Well kill them all." as I smirked at her. "We need to find out who this." as I said "Exactly what I was thinking." as Grace asked "And how do we think we start ?"

I then looked in the pool of blood and found a old ring. It was gold as I looked on the back in order to see on the band it read "Class of 1913."

It read the text as it said "Manufactured In North Carolina."

I smirked as Grace asked "What did you find ?" as I said "A ticket to find our answers, were going on a field trip Grace." as I grinned as Grace folded her arms at me.

She wore a pink shirt and shorts set. She had a cup of hot tea at her side. She took a sip and began to read one of her brother's journal's.

She had gotten from his old room, her father was going to throw them away, but Nancy was able to save them before her father chuck them straight into the trash.

She never knew her brother was into journal she didn't take him as the type to write his feelings down onto pen and paper. He had a stack of four total. Nancy was on the second one.

She was a fast reader. She wish she got to know her brother more, they talked but never about deep stuff. He went over their stepfather's being abusive and how he spent his time with their mother.

She flipped a page and kept reading. "Nancy light's out honey !" her mother told her from the kitchen.

Nancy rolled her eyes. It was only 10. Her mom wanted her to keep a good sleep schedule, saying it was "one of the key's to let go of the pain."

She put the journal to the side and cut her light off. She got snuggled under her blankets as she tried to go to sleep.

Nancy tossed in her sleep as she flipped to her side she saw a glimpse of a person behind her, she screamed when they began to choke her.

She yelled for help.

She woke up from a bad nightmare as she jolted. Her breathes going  in and out, thick sweat went down her forehead.

She sighed going into her bathroom as she turn the light on and splashed water onto her face.

She looked at herself in the mirror and rubbed her hand over her face. "Get it together, Nancy."

She then looked to her neck as she saw a bruise on her neck and fingerprints as she ran her fingers over it as she looked at herself in shock and horror.
