"Long time no see brother." A voice comes through the shadows.
My eyes narrow.
"You know, for the oldest one of us, you spend an awful time in the shadows brother." I say.
He steps out of the shadows. He was just as I remember. Long white hair tied up through braids. A scruffy purple cloak that was too long for him. Hades, the oldest of us. He is the toughest and the most violent. He holds up his staff of blackness and blood. It drips still.
"Haven't seen you in a while little brother." Hades says.
"I can say the same thing about you, big brother." I spit.
"I heard you killed our mother." Hades says.
"Don't tell me you didn't want that." I say.
"You're right." A thunderous voice resounds.
A lightning bolt shoots down. The thunder roars. I look up and see the clouds blowing faster. I hear the howls of the wind. My eyes narrow as I jump back. I see it beam and glow. Okay, I'm pretty sure Ash and Nyx can see it.
"Always the dramatic entrances little-big brother." I say.
"Well... I do enjoy the entrances." He smiles.
Hair white like clouds. For some reason he was in a suit. He had an interesting form of style at times. How can he be in a suit? Suits suck. They suck. I never liked wearing them. He holds up the thunderbolt.
"One, two, where's..." I start.
"Over here little brother!" I hear.
I turn. I dodge a flying trident.
"Watch it Poseidon! Watch it!" I yelp.
"You dodged it, so there's no point it is screaming Goodfellow." Poseidon sneers.
I glare at him. He moves his hair down back. He had long blue hair and dark gray skin. He had fins on his arms. He had a collar of iron adorn his neck. I draw back. How she gave birth to each and every one of us remains a mystery. Frankly, I don't want to know how many people she's slept with and then ate.
