"Puck, please be careful." Meghan grabs me.
I look down at her and hug her.
"Hey, don't worry. No one has bested Robin Goodfellow." I say.
"Let us hope so." Ash says.
He looks at me. I look down. Honestly, those words choked out of my mouth. I grip my throat.
"Please, be careful Puck. If what you've told us are true, your siblings are monsters." Meghan says.
"And so was I." I point out.
Everyone looks at me. I slap my tongue.
"Well... it's just that we are both from the same... mother creature." I say.
I was created for the purpose of destruction. My fate was sealed the moment she cut me with her claw. However... I'm not one to believe in fate. I make my own. Robin Goodfellow never shys from a challenge. Robin Goodfellow can never be controlled.
"Well, we should get going." Nyx says.
"Take the train? No way, no how am I entering a Spider Carriage." I say.
"I vote we just take a regular carriage." Nyx points to the one awaiting us.
I cross my arms.
"Yes, yes. You're right." I start walking.
I hop onto the driver's seat. The wind howls widely. I bite my lip. Why is it so hot today? I mean... I know this is the middle of summer, but it is early, so this is ridiculous. Ash hops next to me and pulls the reigns from my hands. I look at him in surprise.
"What? I can drive." I say.
"I'm sure you can, but right now you need to focus." He says.
He pulls the reigns and the horses move. I turn and wave goodbye to Meghan and Grimalkin.
"Wait... hold on. Pause. What do you mean I need to focus?" I ask him.
"Just saying Puck, you've been through a lot these past few days. You did have to kill your own mother." He says.
"Okay, first, she was not my mother- she was a deranged monster. Second, I am." I say.
"Let's hope your right Goodfellow." He says.
