"Goodfellow, wake up."
...
"Brother."
... Nghh...
"Shouldn't be long now, brothers."
...
"Robin!!"
Ghay! I jump up. What the heck is going on?! Where am I?! Who... who spoke?? I slam my head into someone's shoulder. I wince. Ow. Ow. What happened? How long have I been asleep? It feels like I've woken up from a three-thousand-year slumber. Everything feels sore. I look up at... Hades.
"Brother." I choke out.
"We were starting to worry. You scared us when you have drunken the juice of the pomegranate tree." Hades says.
"So... I did that. I thought I was dreaming." I say.
"You weren't. Best not to dwell on it." Hades smiles.
"Dwell on what?" I ask.
"That's the right attitude my brother." Hades says.
"Thanks." I stand up.
I brush myself off.
"Am I no longer banished? What happened?" I stretch myself out.
Ow. I feel like I've been through a freaking dishwasher. My entire body aches. I feel like I have been petrified by Medusa's glare. I've met Medusa once, Poseidon's ex, and she was a handful. I throw myself onto the ground and I stretch my back.
"Don't dwell on the past. The prophecy is nearing." Hades says.
I jump. I look at him in surprise.
"The prophecy? The prophecy? The one about all of us?" I cross my arms
"Was that not obvious?" Poseidon raises an eyebrow.
"I've heard about one hundred prophecies. That idiot Shakespear rambles so." I stretch my arms out.
"Do not dwell on the past. We must prepare." Zeus says.
"Right, right, right. I'm going. I have to get revenge on the Summer Court. The idiot king banished me." I say.
I'm delayed of all the pranks. How long have I been asleep? It feels like a millennium has passed. I look around. Did I... Did I accidentally drink a sleeping potion mixed with too much scorpion sting flavored berry juice? I rub my head.
"You will get your revenge, and so much more. The world will belong to us." Zeus says.
"Not to put a kink in your plan, but we don't know anything about the prophecy- at least I don't." I admit.
"I know. The four pillars of the world." Zeus says.
"Those haven't crumbled?" I joke.
"Put the joking aside brother, the hardships are about to begin." Hades tells me.
