"Your Mom is dating someone?" Grover asks in surprise.

"Yeah. I think anyway." I shrug.

"Well, I think it's cool." Grover says.

I look at him surprised.

"You don't look happy." Grover says.

"I'm just... shocked." I take another sip of my smoothie. 

"Cheer up." Grover pats my back.

I smile at him. 

"Pastries! Get your fresh pies and whatnot!" A voice yells.

I turn. I see a lady selling pies, pastries and empanadas (which aren't those pies?). I turn to Gopher, but I turn again, and he was already going over there. The lady who was selling them smelled overwhelmingly of cheddar cheese and chocolate for some reason.

"Come on! Come on!" She smiled at me and Gover.

She put me on the spot, so I had no choice. I look at the treats and none of them were labeled.

"I'll take an empanada." Grover says.

I turn to him. Alright. I'll go with this.

"And for you sir?" She asks.

"Nothing. I'm good." I shake my head.

She gives him an empanada. He takes a bite and spits it out immediately.

"What's in here?!" He yells.

"Meat." She answers.

"What type of meat?" Grover asks.

"Goat meat." She answers so honestly.

Me and Gover exchange nervous looks. Grover drops the empanada like it's some kind of bomb. He looks like he's going to faint. I grab him just to make sure he won't fall. Since Gover is half goat, I assume he's pretty traumatized. Is this cannibalism? I'll have to ask my mom or Annabeth.

Which reminds me, I am seeing Annabeth later today.

"How dare you!" Grover yells at the lady.

"Hey Grover take it easy." I say.

I grab him and walk him off.

"Perceus Jackson." She calls at me.

I turn to her in surprise. She gives me an address.

"Go see my master. It is urgent." She says.
