"Lola, are you sure you're doing okay..?" My friend Nate asked with a worried look, but then again, we were all really worried.

Right now, my friends and I had joined a group call. It was a routine we followed everyday now to make sure none of us lost our minds. We had all lost someone important in our lives, and we were all in pain, as much as we hated to admit.

I should probably introduce you to everyone.

The first one I'll introduce is Lola Robbins, who's been my best friend since middle school. She's got short pitch black hair with a purple stripe in her bangs, pale skin, and hazel eyes. She's always been one to dress like an emo, but she's one of the strongest people I know.

Like I mentioned before, the most recent victim was Lidia, who was part of our friend group, and Lola's girlfriend. Needless to say, she was hurting more than anyone else right now, and the rest of us were trying to comfort her the best we could.

Beside her was her younger sister, Gianyra Robbins, who we all simply call Gia. She had long red hair that reached her waist, pale skin, and the same hazel eyes as her sister. Most of the time she wore a lime green, and she was probably the most positive person out of all of us.

In his own home, Victor Reynolds pet his dog Hulk, his expression a mix of worry and seriousness. Vic had half of his hair shaved off, and the rest of his blue hair was brushed to the other side. His skin was pretty tanned, with light brown eyes and freckles across his cheeks. He'd normally wear gray and blue clothing, and was generally a really cool guy.

He's been a lot more serious since his girlfriend went missing four months ago, and understandably so.

His closest friend, Benjamin Johnson, had his head resting on the palm of his hand. He had short brown hair, with blue eyes and light skin, usually dressed in simple polo shirts. You could say Ben is the "nerd" of the ground, always been very focused in school, but really nice and we all enjoy his company.

Cleo DelRay was with us as well. Her long hair was always tied up in a bun, the roots brown and slowly fading to blond, with a light tan and brown eyes. She always wears pink no matter the occasion, and tends to be pretty bitchy most of the time, but she's a good person.

The other girl in the group was Sagebrush Cipher, and although we've never been close, we definitely grew closer when my brother disappeared.

Why?

Because she was actually his girlfriend at the time. I think they had been dating for over two years now, and she was suffering just as much as I was about it.

She has long pink hair with bright blue eyes and light skin. The black fox ears and tail usually took the attention away from her bright colors. She was normally a cheery person, but one can only hold so much in a situation like this.

There was also Oscar Matthews, who I wasn't that close with either, but still a friend. He had very short hair, dark brown eyes, and black skin. Because of how tall he was, he always gave off an intimidating feel, but he's a sweet guy.

The last two were Austin Price and Nathaniel Hutson. Austin was a player, he'd hit on every girl he found, us included. He has blonde hair, blue-ish green eyes and light skin, and a smile where you just wanna knock his damn teeth out.

Nate has been his best friend since kindergarten, and is the main reason why we still let Austin hang with us. He has brown hair, tanned skin, and hazel eyes, and is almost never seen without is scarf. He's the calmest one out of all of us, and it's way too obvious he's got a crush on Austin.

For whatever reason.

Lola wiped away a tear that fell down her check. "A-as fine as one can be right now.."

None of us had an answer for that. Some of us had gone through something similar, but even we didn't know how to make things better when we didn't believe that ourselves.

A few minutes of silence went by, when Sage finally broke it. "Hey, how about you all go to my place..? We haven't talked in person in a while.."

Nate shook his head. "I'd love to, but I need to keep and eye on my siblings.."

"I can't either, Mom and Dad have been really paranoid with me.. Not that I blame them though.." Ben replied.

Austin leaned back against his couch. "I can't go either, Dad's making me clean the kitchen."

"I don't think my aunt would let me out of my house." Cleo added.

Oscar gave a shrug. "And I've got to take care of Sakura. "Sorry, Sage."

"I can go." Victor say up, then gave a shrug. "It's not like I have anything better to do."

"We can go too!" Gia smiled, giving Lola a small shake. "It would take our minds off of things."

I looked around my room, I had the same excuse as Victor. Did I really wanna stay locked up in my room another day?

Giving a shrug, I nodded. "What the heck, I'll meet you guys there."

Sage smiled a bit. "Alright, see you four in a bit."

We all said our goodbyes and the video call ended, letting me stand up and stretch. It had been a while since I left my house, it'd be nice to have a change in scenario.

Plus, I haven't seen him in a while either..
