Sanford and deimos were fighting off a group of agents behind you as you continued you shoot down the engineers and a few soldat's. The AAHW had been after you 3 for a while now, and you guys had not been able to catch a break. "Oi' (Y/N), Catch!" Sanford called out causing you to turn and reach out your hand to grab the new pack of bullets he had passed you. Considering how many enemies there were, you were gonna need it. You took out the old slot and inserted the new one, quickly getting back to aiming at a soldats head. You were able to take them out with only a few shots, causing a smirk to appear on your face. 'This should be easy.'  You thought to yourself before you began relentlessly shooting at your attackers.

Deimos swung the back of his G36 at an agents head, swiftly knocking them out as Sanford threw his hook at the head of another, blood spattering on the walls as it impailed the agents skull. "Nice shot dude!" Deimos Chimed in before shooting at 3 more agents coming towards them. "Thanks, not so bad yourself Deimos! We should be out of here in a few minutes if we keep this up!" Sanford responded with, beginning to notice the lack of enemies. "Hey! Y'all would be dead right now from behind if I weren't here!" You called out jokingly, reminding the two men you were there. Deimos chuckled and Sanford called back at you "Oh what would we do without you" He said chuckling as he dramatically put his hand on his four head. "You would probably be fucking dead assholes" you said, laughing as you finished off the last attacker and turned to your Friend's. 

"Well it's nice to have you around even if you didn't do anything for us. We still love ya" Sanford said, patting your head and ruffling your hair "D'awww I'm flattered." You said, playfully punching Sanford before turning around and kicking a body off your foot. "We should get going. I think this is the exit and, maybe we will get time to rest." Sanford spoke up, bringing the idea of leaving back to the table. "Get time to rest my ass."  deimos said as he picked up his rifle that had fallen onto the floor. All 3 of you chuckled and began to walk out of the building into the dark red outdoors.

It was quite quiet for a while on the walk, until Sanford chose to speak up. "Like you have an ass-" "HEY!" Deimos shouted, causing you to begin laughing. "We're out here every day and no matter what you find a way to make a joke about my lack of Ass! It's not funny!" Deimos shouted angrily as you and Sanford leaned on each other laughing hysterically. "Oh boo-hoo" you pouted causing Deimos to facepalm. "Y'know what, I am SICK of this abuse." He said before flopping onto the floor.

"What are you doing?" Sanford asked as he looked at his freind laying in the sand

"Waiting"

"Waiting for what?"

"For you guys to try and gain my trust back"

Sanford said with a smirk as he laid on the floor. You stoped laughing and walked over to look at your floorcake of a freind. "How do we do that fair Maiden?" You asked, looking down at your freind who had his hand over his head in a dramatic way. Deimos instantly sat up as you asked and smiled. "Cary me home."

Sanford looked down at Deimos on the floor and sighed. "Deimos. Please. We have places to be." Sanford said in a empty voice. "No!" Deimos said in a high pitched teasing voice. You noticed sanford getting upset and you chose to crouch down and throw Deimos over your shoulder. "Calm down Sanford, I've got it. Let's get going." You said, not wanting a fight to break out between your two Friend's. "See at least (Y/N) Wants to regain my trust!" Deimos said as he stared back at Sanford who was walking behind you. Sanford just huffed and continued walking.

You 3 had made it back to your hide out they had built in the back of a cave. You had no idea how the 3  boys made it but you were still glad you had a house like area to live. You opened up the door and walked over to the living room, setting Deimos down on the couch "There ya' go you big baby." You muttered as you plopped him down onto the couch. He giggled and smiled at you. "Thank you (Y/N)!" He called out to you with a smile as you walked away to your room. 

A sigh escaped your mouth while you flopped onto the bed for the first time in what felt weeks. You, Sanford and Deimos had been on the move for a while and been sleeping out in random areas. But now you were home. 

Though it was tiring, spending all of that time with them was great. Especially the time you spent with Sanford. The bond you to shared had grown. Platonically grown? Definitely. Romantically? Possibly, you weren't quite sure yet. Though being around him even in battle made you feel butterflies.

All of those times you had almost fallen or tripped, he caught you. And you did the same for him. The sweet moments you shared under the stars.. but the one that stood out to you the most was being able to sleep together. It would get cold sometimes and you two once cuddled. After that night of the non stop on the run saga, you always cuddled. Damn, we're you gonna miss that tonight.

As you lifted the covers over your body and snuggled into bed, resting your head on your pillow, you closed your eyes and began to drift of into sleep in the cool, comfortable room.

C r e e e e a a a a k k k 

The door opened.

The rays of light began to shine on you and you groaned, shuffling around in your sheets groaning. "Hey." A calm voice called out, causing you to open your eyes a bit, lifting your head up to see none other than Stanford. Right at your door way.

"Huh..? Sanford what are you doing here?" You muttered, your voice groggily and quiet, but loud enough to hear. "O-oh, uhm, well I was thinking,, since while we were out we cuddled together before bed that uhm.. maybe we could do it again tonight...?" He asked, his voice anxious. 

Your eyes popped open and you gasped under your breath. 'Did.. did he actually just ask that..?' You thought to yourself, your face warming up a bit. 

He was worried you would say no and get creeped out but to his surprise,

"Sure.. I was actually kinda sad that we wouldn't be able too so of course!" You yawned while sitting up in bed to look up at Sanford, who was flustered and still on the other side of the room. Sanford brought a hand up to his chest in surprised. "R-Really..?" He asked, wanting to be 100% sure you were alright with it. 

You stretched and looked back over to him. "Yea, totally. C'mon over dude!" You whispered to him with a smile as he closed the door behind him and came over to lay down next to you. Sanford scooted over to you, and you instantly wrapped your arms around him and pulled him closer to you. "W-Woah!-" he squeaked at the fast movement from you, but quickly calmed down and put his arms around you as well.  

"Mmm..warm.." you muttered as you nuzzled into his chest, causing Sanford to smile sweetly. Sanford began to rub your back as you two held onto each other under the covers. 

"I'm really glad you also wanted to do this. I was worried you would get disturbed or something.. heh." He said, setting his head down lightly on yours.

You giggled and lifted your head up to face him, causing him to move his from you're's. "Honestly I don't know about you but this helped me sleep, even if we were under attack most of the time.. I.. I don't know why but you make me really happy." You said as you stared up into his eyes as he looked back down into yours. "That means a lot to me (Y/N). You make me really happy too." He responded with, his voice light and laced with a caring tone.

You smiled before yawning and setting your head back down on the pillow next to him. "No problem. Let's get to bed though, cause I'm tired as fuck." You said, chuckling a bit at the last part. "Hah, alright." He said, pulling you back to him and holding you

As you both closed your eyes an began to try to drift of into sleep, a thought crossed your mind and you spoke up.

"Hey Sanford..?" You murmured 

"Yea?" Sanford asked.

"I'm glad to be here with you, but why didn't you wanna go to sleep without me?"

Sanford paused. Trying to word what he was about to say right. But then feeling confident enough to say it.

"It's like how I feel with everything. Fighting, chilling, or anything above and beyond. I don't wanna do it. Not without you."
