I wince as I try to walk to Meghan's throne room. I gasp in the air as I lean into a wall. Why does my strength feel so bad? Why does my strength linger like so? My legs were weak as sticks. How long will I stay like this? I mean it's only been a day but still. I feel like a skewered chicken, which is not a pleasant feeling. I just feel so helpless.
"Need some help Puck?" Ash walks up to me.
"Heh... I'm just hugging the wall." I say.
"I can help you." Ash says.
"Nah. I'm good ice boy." I say.
I straighten up. Ash crosses his arms.
"I take it you did not sleep well." Ash says.
"How did you know?" I yelp.
"It isn't hard when I've been around you long enough." Ash says.
"Ah, well, that is true ice boy. You're lucky I'm not at my full strength to smirk." I say through grunts.
He walks around me and takes my one good arm.
"My other arm will heal. It's healing right now." I move it around.
"I wouldn't push it Goodfellow." Ash says.
"Me push it? Since when?" I ask.
"No comment Goodfellow." Ash says.
I wince as he leads me to Meghan's throne room. I wouldn't rather be lying in bed like a wounded animal. However, my glamour feels completely ripped from me. It feels like my chest has been ripped open. It feels numb almost. It feels like a really strange hangover, which I've actually never had. Contrary to popular belief, I don't drink that much. Ash however, man he gets drunk real fast. There have been times when I had to save his ass just from alcohol poisoning.
"Are you okay Puck?" Ash asks.
"Of course I am! I'm perfect." I say.
"Right..." Ash rolls his eyes.
"Don't believe me?" I wince looking up at him.
"You killed your own family." Ash says.
"They were monsters. They deserved it." I hiss.
"I hope you don't mean that brother." Ash says.
What's that supposed to mean?
