"Puck, it's time to get up." Ash shakes me awake.
"I know. I know ice boy." I stand up.
I brush myself off and push Ash back pulling up my jacket.
"Has it gotten colder?" I breathe the chill air.
It feels like ice. I see snow coming down in mass amounts. I'm not unhappy with the snow, but how did it accumulates so fast? The air was thinner not just because we were on a mountain. It feels cold and chili more so than when we slept. Well, I slept, I'm not sure of the others.
"We are about halfway there or more." Poseidon says.
"Very descriptive waterspout." Ash hisses.
"Would it make a difference which way I say it?" Poseidon asks.
Ash rolls his eyes.
"Boys, quit it." I say.
I look around. I can barely see with all this fog. It's fog that feels like it's made of ghosts. Thick and seems to go right through me in a very weird way. The air feels thin. Poseidon points to a small trail lower on the mountain. It's a ridge. It's rocky. It's long and twisty like a serpent.
"The tongue of the mountain." I say.
"Let us hope we will not be touched by the teeth." Poseidon starts making his way down.
I look down the way Poseidon was walking on. I suppose I shouldn't transform into a raven and fly down myself. In this condition, my magic is sparking all over the place. So like Poseidon, I'd have to clamber down the half rock steps. It was slippery I could tell. It had a coating of ice and snow. I bite my lip.
"Careful Puck." Ash says.
"I got it ice boy." I say.
I grip the ledge. It's unfair to call these things stair, they were like ledges- like teeth and the mountain was a mouth. My foot almost slips on ice. I manage to catch myself on the rock. Ash looks down at me. He raises an eyebrow.
"Need help?" Ash asks.
"Thank you ice boy, but I'll manage." I say clambering down.
