I feel the roughness of the earth. I feel the pebbles as they hit on the wheel. I feel my own stomach juices bouncing around. I swallow the blood in my throat. I look up and I see the cliffs. Mabe says this place is called Screaming Edge in Goblin tongue and I don't doubt it.  

"Puck." Kerrian says. 

"What?" I ask looking at him.

He was walking beside the wagon.

"Dad told me what happened. You saved the world." Kerrian says.

"And I couldn't save me." I cough.

"How are the wounds?" Kerrian asks.

"Like a picnic." I sigh. 

"At least you're still corky." He says.

"Corky, am I?" I ask him.

"Corkier than most." He says.

I wince as I sit up.

"How you holding up?" Nyx asks me.

"Fine." I grimace.

I look around. I grip my dagger. Why do I feel like I'm being watched? Like the wagon is being watched. I see shadowy figures gleaming from behind the rocks. I hiss as I pull myself up. Mabe stands up.

"I should probably have mentioned this earlier, so forgive me, but there is something that will most likely kill us." Mabe says.

"And you ruined the surprise?" I ask hurt. 

"It is not a good surprise Goodfellow. Warrets hunt in the cracks." Mabe says.

"Who? What?" I ask.

"Warrets?" Ash and Kerrian both says.

"Think giant angry bugs with a thirst for human flesh. We Goblins stay far away from here as possible." Mabe says.

"Oh great, and you dragged us in here." Ash sighs.

"Well, it beats a week." Mabe shrugs.

"And it's more fun." I push Ash's shoulder.

"I can fight Goodfellow, I'm considered about you and your injuries." Ash tells me.

"Awww. You should know I can defend myself." I say.

"Regardless, we need to be careful." Mabe says.

"Don't we always?" Nyx asks.

"Probably." I shrug.

"Shh. Quiet." Kerrian says.

I move back into the wagon. I hate to admit it, but Ash had a point. It's not the injuries that worry me. It's my glamour. It feels twisted and resembling Hades dark magic. Mabe pulls the reins. Then, the horse stops dead in its tracks. I look up and see shadowy bug like creatures charging.
