Précis

In the enchanting yet death-dealing land of Westeros, two children were born in completely different predicaments.

One, the boy, was lucky enough to be born a prince of the realm and as a result was gifted with all the luxuries and ease that comes with being born into royalty. 

The other child, a girl, was not so blessed. She had the misfortune of being born into both poverty and a low born family and as a result  became everything the majority of the boy's genteel family despised.

In order to survive in Westeros the girl was forced to turn into a liar, a thief, a criminal. She was forced to give up her honour and her sense of moral, all so she wouldn't be sent to an early grave by cruel starvation.

While the boy was being taught to speak High Valerian and how to behave in the royal court, the girl was learning the art of con and how to pickpocket. They were polar opposites.

The first time the boy and the girl crossed paths was the year they each turned fourteen, and the violent unrest between the Blacks and the Greens was steadily growing to a point of no return.

The girl knew this well. She also knew that the easiest time to steal a thing was in times of discord. She knew that the treasuries in the Red Keep were the most bountiful in the land. And she knew exactly where in the dungeons of the Red Keep her brother was being held.

She only needed a window. An opportunity.

And now she had one.
