『Chapter 8』
I haven't watched Black Butler in a long time, I don't even know why I made this filler chapter back then. I also forgot where this episode was from but I'll just gonna go with the flow. Hey, don't ask me I don't even know.

Days turned to weeks, weeks turned to months, and you had been getting along well with the rest of the household. Though sometimes you had to cover up their mistakes, which you didn't mind. Friends, you liked to call them. And they accepted you. That made you think about what would happen if they found out what you truly were. Would they leave you? Would they feel betrayed? Don't know. You didn't want to think about it any further either.
Meanwhile, for Sebastian, he'd never take his eyes off of you. It was hard for him to hide his feelings, yet in a way, he wanted to tell you.
"You've been acting strange these past days, Sebastian. Having trouble with your new feeling?" Ciel broke the silence as he tore his gaze from his works. Sebastian hummed and looked down at him. "No... Forgive me, this is very new to me." He replied to avoid any further questions.
Though it really had been bugging him. That's was his big question in his life. Did he really like you? Could a demon love a half and a half? Well, that seemed to work with your parents.
"How could you... a demon... have feelings on her? I thought demons don't love." Ciel questioned, resting his head on his palm.
"I do not know I could feel a thing as such either, my lord. Y/n... she seems different. I wanted to... Claim her somehow. Even in my mortal days, I had never found anything like her." Sebastian admitted, taking Ciel's coat from the rack, for they were going to check on the store. Ciel pushed back his chair, walking to the door.
Sebastian put on his coat, handing him his hat. "Well, at least there's someone who's not afraid of you." Ciel took the hat and left the study with him. Walking down the grand stairs, Sebastian met up with you.
"Y/n, Sebastian and I are going to the town for the day. Can I leave you in charge?" Ciel ordered you in a demanding tone. You let out a breath, shrugging off his words, "Sure, it's not like I can say no." Ciel nodded at you walking past you to the front door. Sebastian stopped by you for a second, whispering something in your ear.
"The others may be clumsy, Y/n, but you haven't seen the best of them yet." He advised, his hot breath tickled the skin of your neck. You popped out your bottom lip, muttering his words in a mockery tone. "Yeah, whatever..."

Just after a few hours since they left, you thought the day was going out peacefully, but you thought wrong. As you were about to eat with the others together, your ears perked up when you hear a crashing sound outside in the garden. Not just you, but the others as well.
"Let me guess, this isn't your first time?" You sighed heavily, standing up from your seat. You checked outside the window, see if there were anything suspicious. "So?" Bard asked, walking up behind you. You peeked out and spot a few men, with guns.
Great. Just great...
"They really think they have the chance, huh?" You snickered at the group of men, turning back to the squad, only to see them all on their feet, eyes narrowing at the sight. You raised an eyebrow, completely stunned by their sudden change of mood. "Whoa, okay this is serious?"
"You're right, Y/n," Bard said, putting a hand on your shoulder. "This isn't our first time." He finished, popping a cigarette in his mouth. The trio began to move in action, grabbing their weapons while you were still standing there trying to process the whole thing. You had never seen them so... Serious. Where did Sebastian find these people?!
"Well, you going or not?" Your head snapped to Meyrin, she held two pistols in her hands. "Uhmm, I'm... Not good with guns." You admitted, pointing out a finger. Bard and Finny already left, they took care of the guys from the first floor. As for Meyrin, you guessed she was their sniper, which impressed you. You could even see her eyes through her big round glasses and she wasn't stuttering.
"But don't worry. I've handled this a lot before." You reassured, sending her a smirk, pulling out your dagger. You bumped your arms together, smirks at each other's faces. "Phantomhive servants who can't do this much—”
"—aren't worth their salt!" You continued her words before splitting up. You dashed outside, ready to face whatever's awaiting you in the garden. But who was waiting for you when you stepped into the place?
((My friend James Madison red in the face—...stop))
You saw the first man coming by, sneaking his way through the bushes. Taking it easy, you walked to him as if he was a friend of yours. When he stepped out of the bushes, you tapped his shoulder from behind as he jolted and turned to you. "Don't 'cha think you're a bit rude there, mate?"
In a second, you see him pulling out a gun in which you took down in an instant, knocking it off with a kick. He put you up a fight which you won easily. He was about to blow another punch until you twisted his arm. You felt the darkness in you rise. You knew what that meant.
Acknowledging the feeling you pulled the man in the trees, hidden from the trio as you watched them fight the other intruder. Dragging the man on his feet, you held his collar, pinning him on a tree. You held up a smirk, black mists started to spread across you. The man trembled in fear, struggling to get off of you.
"Let go of me, devil!" He begged, caused you to let out a subtle laugh. "That's a bit offensive, don't you think?"
You decided to have a little fun and let the man scattered off. But you didn't let him go. He shrieked, looking back at your now demonic form. Your black mists trapped him from escaping, you saw him sweat as you launched at him, taking his soul. You decided to feast him.
Your eyes glowed bright red as you felt your power restored. Too much, it made you wobble. You revert to your human form, holding your head after your longed feast. That was a lot to take in and it had been years since you devoured a soul.
You couldn't handle the new feeling as you tried to walk out the woods, only to fall to your knees as the world went black.

You awoke to a sound of a liquid being poured into a glass. Grunting, you sat up slowly, kneading your temple. "Settle down, kitten." You turned to Sebastian beside you, offering you a glass of water. You were used to the nickname he gave you, figuring it would be useless to tell him to stop calling you that.
"What happened?" You asked, taking the glass. "I found you in the woods. Unconscious. You had the trio worried. Though I heard you put up a pretty good fight." You listened to him as you drank up the water, giving the glass back to him. You looked around you, finding yourself in the lounge, laying on the couch.
"You were feasting, weren't you?"
You halted as you were about to stand up. You looked up at him, eyes locked with one another. "Would you be disappointed in me if I did?" You replied with another question.
"Now, why would I? That was your choice, not mine." Sebastian answered back with a smile, which relieved you. You didn't know why you were afraid of his answer. "I think your body couldn't handle that much power. I'm guessing because it's been years since you eat?" Sebastian exclaimed, walking over to the table behind him.
"Yeah... I don't like to think much about it." You responded briefly, reminiscing about the little moment you had. You felt bad a bit you had no choice.
"Also, I couldn't help but notice that dagger of yours, saw it from the first time we met," Sebastian questioned, turning back to you. You hummed in response and picked out the dagger he was talking about. "Oh, this? It's from my father..." You replied, looking down at the dagger. The demonic weapon.
"It was his. He gifted this for me... At least..." You stopped mid-sentence, not wanting to continue. Sebastian tilted his head, awaiting your words. "It's a demon blade, he said in a letter. Not as powerful as the demon sword, but this is enough to harm a creature as such." You smiled proudly at it, tracing the design with your fingertips.
"That looks... May I?" Sebastian opened his hand, seeking the dagger. You gently placed it on his hand as he then flipped it a couple of times, studying it while bringing it to his face. "I feel like I've seen this before..." He pondered before handing it back to you. You put it back to the matching sheath, keeping it in the folds of your skirt.
You stood up, brushing your dress. "Well, thanks for the treatment, I guess." You said, walking past him to the door. As you reached the doorknob, Sebastian held the wrist of your hand. You looked at his hand on you, dragging your gaze to his eyes. "Sebastian?" Your voice sounded a little trembled as he held your left wrist, the one that had the scar you hid for years.
Sebastian didn't let out another word, he gently pulled your wrist, pushing the sleeve. You hitched a breath, trying to pull it away from him. "Sebastian, what're you doing?" You shuddered, fear crawling up inside you. He started to unwrap the white linen you used to cover up the scars. You called his name once more to no reply. You put a hand to his chest in an attempt to push him off, but he was stronger than you.
Once he finished unlooping the bandage, he let go of it. The white linen fell to the floor like feathers as Sebastian examined your scars thoroughly. "Sebastian, please...." You pleaded.
"Please, tell me you didn't do this to yourself." Sebastian finally spoke, looking at you. You looked at him through the tears that formed on the corner of your eyes. You couldn't let out a word and just shook your head.
"Who did this?" Sebastian concerned. He thought about if you got this on an accident in the streets, you wouldn't be hiding it. But you hid it. You always did. So he figured it was something you wouldn't want to unravel.
You stared at him for a while, lost in words. "It was him..." Your lips trembled at your words. "Faustus." Sebastian completed your words, his brows furrowed in anger. You nodded slowly at the name. You weren't surprised to see him knowing the other demon.
"I was trying to get away from him, but he... Scratched me." You confessed, shutting your eyes as you remembered that day. You hated that you were fearless when facing the criminals but scared of someone of your kind.
"I tried to forget about him. I tried to forget everything about my past but whenever I tried to, it haunts me." You started to cry at that, cursing internally for learning it happen. Sebastian watched you and you could see the compassion in his eyes.
Sebastian held your cheek, wiping off the tears. You leaned into his touch, his comforting, warm touch. You needed this. You needed a shoulder to cry on.
"As I told you before, don't let the past came in your way. You make your own path with what you have now." He advised softly. You gazed at him, searching for comfort.
He couldn't hold it much longer. He leaned in and gently pressed his lips onto yours, which caught you off guard. Your eyes widened at the sudden action but that didn't mean you refused. Instead, you gave into the blissful kiss. You closed your eyes, moving your hand to his neck, pulling him closer. He put a hand on the back of your head, tilting your head as he deepened the kiss.
In the end, he pulled away from you, taking small breaths. Both of you stared into each other's eyes, no words coming out of anyone's mouth.
"What was that for?" You broke the silence, taking a step away. Sebastian hummed to himself, brushing a hair out of your face.
"For telling you how I feel for you."
