『Chapter 30』

Sebastian widened his eyes at your sudden outburst. He didn't expect you to let it out just like that, knowing how you were with your past. He loosened his grip on your arm as you used the opportunity to escape from him. He watched you as you left the area, unsure of what to do. He could follow you, but he knew you would rage once more, considering the things he'd done without her knowing. Guilt was what he felt. He hated himself for that. Not only that, He feared that he'll lose his bond with you.

He sighed before he went back inside the circus area. He figured, no, he hoped he could fix things with you tomorrow.

The next morning, he took Ciel as they returned to the townhouse. Ciel questioned about your absence, to which Sebastian simply replied that you had some personal matters to attend to. Back at the house, Soma bombarded him with concerning questions, asking him where he had left for two days. Said that you went back early, didn't help him calm down.

Soma noticed his drained appearance, "You obviously got cold. You probably have a fever!" He said, in worry of his condition. Ciel stubbornly replied, "My temperature is normal." He brushed him off as Sebastian carried him up the stairs.

As he reached the top of the stairs, he saw you standing in the middle of the hallway. You looked at me with cold eyes, to which kind of shrunk his heart, considering you'd never stared at him like that. You looked at Ciel who was in his hands.

"Great, you're finally back. That purple hair was planning a search party for you." You casually replied. Ciel narrowed his eyes at you, getting used to your behavior, "You left early, when did I tell you so?" You put out your lip, shaking your head in a sign of mockery. You left to your room without another word or a glance at Sebastian.

Sebastian released a sigh, opening the door to Ciel's bedroom. He put him down on the bed and started to change his attire into his proper one. "You're not firing her for mocking you, are you?" Sebastian asked, teasing Ciel as he let out a breath.

"No, I'm used to it anyway," Ciel replied as Sebastian handed him his tophat. They walked to the door, opening it only to be blocked by Agni. "Huh?"

"Not so fast, Ciel! Don't assume you'll leave the townhouse easily." Soma popped out from Agni's back, a grin on his lips. He stepped inside, "I know you caught a cold," he pointed out. Agni moved out the door, revealing you behind, leaning onto the wall, arms across your chest.

Ciel tried to move past them but Soma stepped through, "Agni, Don't let Ciel walk past you!" He ordered. Ciel, annoyed, remarked, "Listen you two! I have work to do."  He was interrupted with another one of his asthma attacks. Agni tried to plead with him to get back to bed. Ciel instructed Sebastian to get them out of his way as you lazily made your way in the room.

"Yes my lord," Sebastian replied.

Agni, all of a sudden, some up, "You call yourself Lord Phantomhive's khansamah?!" He yelled to Sebastian. He looked at him, confused.

"As a Butler to another, I'll tell you. The health of our master is our first concern." He tried to convince Sebastian, hand to his heart. Persuaded, Sebastian put his fingers under his chin, "Hmm... there's something you said I need to think of."

"Hey! Don't let him turn you! My orders—" At one moment when Ciel rebelled once more, you got tired of his behavior. You scoffed, making your way towards him, "You heard the man. Kid, asthma isn't something you can play with." You said, pulling Ciel back to his bed as you started to take off his coat. You didn't want to say you care about him, but you didn't want him to die.

To your surprise, Ciel listened to you, he grimaced though but didn't want to say another word, with him already being drained. "Seriously, if you pass out in another mission, I'm not rescuing you." You spat, gently placing him on the bed as Sebastian walked beside you, settling him under the covers.

As the night went by, with Ciel resting, Sebastian left his room and made his way to yours, figuring he owed you an apology. A proper one, this time. He reached your door, lightly knocking it. The door soon opened and you started to be illuminated by the outside lights.

"Oh, look. It's mister I-never-tell-lies." Was the first thing that came out of your lips. You crossed your arms, looking at him. He drowned at that, opening his mouth to speak before you interrupted him once more, "You have one minute, starting now."

Sebastian breathed out of his nose, hearing your words. He took a deep breath before he began. "Alright, I know what I did hurt you. You may not forgive me the second time, I know I deserve it. But hear me out, ... Despite everything I had done, my love for you is never in doubt. It was a fool of me to throw away what we have for such a case." He confessed, passing mid-sentence. He started at your (e/c) eyes that he had always found beautiful, "But my biggest mistake is I never considered listening to you. You're smart, I knew you would have another plan, but I didn't listen. So, sincerely apologize." He finished, putting up a little smile as he left you speechless, your hand hanged a bit. You hated that he was so wise of his choice of words that it made your heart melted.

You shut your jaw, scoffing and turning away, hiding a blush that you didn't realize had appeared. "You're such a dork." You shook your head. Sebastian grabbed your hands, reaching them up to his lips. "I know. That's just how I am in your eyes, yes?" He smiled. You slowly turned to him, still frowning. "Give me time." You scowled. He bowed his head, acknowledging your request.

"In the meantime, I am willing to hear you out." Sebastian insisted. You hesitated on telling him. But he was right, you needed to let it out.
