『Chapter 2』
The whole trip to the manor was dull. You would often drift off to your mind, ignoring the conversation between the odd people. Though Ciel would sometimes ask you questions related to the job.
It felt like hours until you finally reached the manor. "Welcome to my estate, Y/n," Ciel remarked to which you respond with a nod. Sebastian was the first to get off the carriage, helping the young Earl step down the short steps.
Sebastian was kind enough to offer you his hand once more. You grimaced to yourself for letting someone help you. Figuring this would be your new lifestyle, you took his hand as he helped you down. "I thought you might refuse for one second," Sebastian said as if he was reading your mind.
"I was. Maybe I should have." You snapped at him. You walked down the step, taking a view of the manor.
Sebastian stood behind you, thinking to himself, 'She's a tough one... I like it...'
You spot some little figures from the window as they made their way out to the front door. "Ohh they are home! Yes, they are!" A girl with red hair sprinted her way out.
"Oh? Who's she, Mr Sebastian?" The girl asked, relating to you. You tilted your head as you inspected her. She wore a maid's dress and was using round big glasses.
"Meyrin, get the others," Sebastian said, sending Meyrin a stare. She nodded and ran back to the manor.
"Sorry. She's one of our housemaids. You'll meet the other soon." Sebastian smiled at you as he then led you inside the manor. You nodded at his sentence.
"Sebastian, get her cleaned up and guide her on her first week here. I'll be in my study." Ciel requested, glancing at Sebastian then at you. "Yes, my Lord." Sebastian bent over as Ciel made his way up the stairs.
"It's you and me now..." Sebastian turned to you, chuckling his words. You furrowed your brows, giving him a side glance. "Excuse me?"
"What am I saying?... Where are they!?" He shook his head and averted his gaze from you. You scoffed a breath and crossed your arms. Heavy footsteps emerged from a hallway from your right. You turned around and caught four other servants.
"Listen, everyone! This is Y/n L/n, she will be working with us from now on." Sebastian gestured at you. You put down your hands on your sides, The servants began to introduce themselves.
"Oi! Nice to meet ya'. I'm Baldroy. Call me Bard and I'm the chef here." A young man with a white uniform introduced himself, a cigarette in his mouth. You nodded at him, acknowledging his words.
Next to him was what it looked like to be the gardener. He wore a yellow shirt with a straw hat hanging behind his back. His blonde bangs were held by red clips. "Hello there, Miss. I am Finnian, the gardener, you can call me Finny." Finny happily cheered, rushing at you and shaking your hand enthusiastically. You let out a short, nervous laugh, slowly pulling your hand away.
The next one was the maid which Sebastian spoke of earlier. "Hi, miss! I'm Meyrin," Meyrin said with a soft smile.
The last one was a..... Well, you'll see.
"Excuses, Miss (L/N)." Sebastian halted. He strolled in front of you and introduced the last man. "This is Tanaka. He's like this for some reason." He focused on Tanaka.
"Ho...ho...ho." That was all Tanaka replied.
"It was a pleasure to meet you all. I hope we can work together well." You brightly smiled, giving them a bow. Spoke some truths though, you were somehow interested to be working with them. These... Nice people, you thought. It's just that you've never met anyone else so nice, or so excited to get to know you. You liked that feeling.
"Alright, that's settled. Now, follow me, my lady." Sebastian spoke up as he laid a hand behind your waist, making you shudder.
"I shall escort you to your room." Sebastian dragged you softly, you waved a little goodbye to the others.
While escorting you to your room, Sebastian gave you a small tour around the manor such as the music room, kitchen, garden, the masters' study, library, and the guest rooms.
Finally reaching the destination, Sebastian unlocked the door, opening it wide as it made a creak. "This is your room, my lady. Now if you'll excuse me, I must put the young master to his sleep." He said, giving you a slight bow.
"Oh, please. Stop calling me that!" You raised your voice, snapping your head at him. Though you liked the other servants, Sebastian gave you a nerve and you didn't like being called with such a nickname.
"I'm nothing special. Sorry, but... Please just call me by my name." You sighed, hoping he would take it as an apology. Sebastian acknowledged your request, bowing at you slightly. "If you insist, Y/n."
Sebastian entered the room, he opened one of the drawers of a dresser. He picked out a few pieces of clothing putting them on the bed. He looked back at you, a pleasant smile on his face.
"Now, allow me to clean you up." He said, that easy.
Your eyes widened as you scrunched your nose, a faded red blush appeared on your face by his words. "What?! You're mad!" You scoffed.
Sebastian grabbed a towel, dropping it over his arm as he made his way to you. "I can help you, it'll be a lot easier."
You scowled at him, snatching the towel from his arm. "Like hell, I will let you! I can take care of myself, you bloody pervert!"
"You will be working with me. So, I will help you clean." Sebastian grabbed your vest, undoing the buttons. You shrieked and slapped him away. "I get that I'll be working with you! That doesn't mean you can strip me down to my sock!"
Oh, this one was really getting onto your nerves.
Before you know it, he lifted you, carrying you in his arms as he made his way to the washroom. "What the— put me down!"
"Quiet down and there will be no problem."
"Problem?! You're my problem, imbecile!" Sebastian put you down next to the tub, turned the faucet, filling up the tub with warm water. Realizing there was no way he could listen to you, you heaved a sigh and gave up.
"Fine! Do your shit but turn around as I undress or I'll kick you where the sun doesn't shine!" Luckily, he listened to you and gave you his back. You muttered a few words under your breath and started to remove pieces of your clothing.
You stared at the mirror, scanning your dirty shirt and jacked-up hair. "God, I look like crap." You mumbled, tossing your dirty clothes on the floor. Checking your back, you huffed, seeing Sebastian still on his back. Slowly, you dipped your feet first to the water, then your whole body, some of the water spilt over the tub. Your body loosened up as you let out a soft moan, for it had been a while since you felt such leisure.
"Comfortable?" You heard Sebastian said, peering over his shoulder. "Almost." You grumbled, referring to him being in the room with you. He hummed in response and walked over to you. Taking off his coat and rolling up his sleeves, he sat by the tub beside you, taking a white cloth to wipe the dirt off your skin.
He took your right arm as you cover up your chest with your other arm. "Easy, tiger!" He continued to help you bathe as not one of you spoke another word. He then took your other arm, which you quickly pulled back.
Your eyes expanded, covering up your left wrist with one hand, moving as far away from him as possible. "Hm. Something the matter?"
You let out a breath, staring at him, trying to clear the image of the Trancy butler off your vision. Yet they looked very much alike.
"No... Uhmm..." You whimpered, shaking off the horrible recall. You hated that some small, simple things could trigger an awful memory of yours.
"C-can you get out... Please?" You pleaded, hiding your face from him. You kept your wrist under the water, not wanting him to see the visible scars. Sebastian tilted his head, studying your sudden change of mood. "Very well. I'll be outside if you need me." He stood up, taking his coat with him as you hugged your knees, pitying yourself.
Sebastian looked at your curled-up form over his shoulder, for some reason he felt bad for you. He didn't even know he could feel that way.
Meanwhile, you hid your face in your knees, trying to push away the memories. Letting out a deep breath, you continued to wash your face, scrubbing off all the dirt on your skin.

You stepped out of the bathroom, all cleaned and wrapped up in a towel. You spot Sebastian beside your bed, a welcoming smile on his face.
"You alright?" He concerned. You nodded at him, walking over to where he put your clothes. "Here are some fresh clothing you can wear," Sebastian said, handing you a nightgown. You took it from his hand and thanked him.
"Get some rest, Y/n." He walked up to the door. You didn't say any other words and just stared at him. "Do you need anything else?" He asked once more.
"No... I'll be fine..." You sighed. He nodded at you, "Well then, Good night, Y/n."
The room went quiet the second he closed the door. You needed to get used to the environment once more. You scanned the room, though it was nicer than any out room you stayed in.
You got dressed as you thought about all that just happened. You kept asking yourself questions, why did you accept his offer? You felt like you should, something about him told you he was different from any other person you met. And this household... Let's see if you had the bear to call them friends.
