Her dad chuckled, setting his book aside. "Well, that's wonderful news, sweetheart. Walker's a good kid."

Her mom appeared from the kitchen, a warm smile on her face. "I'm so happy for you, Aurelia. You two seem great together."

Aidan, her twin, grinned at her, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Finally, huh? It was about time. You've been talking about him non-stop."

Jack just shook his head with a smile. "Congrats, little sis. You deserve to be happy. So, when do we get to grill him about his intentions?"

Aurelia laughed, feeling a mix of embarrassment and happiness. "Please don't scare him away just yet."

"Don't worry, we'll be nice," Aidan said, winking. "But we'll definitely have to tease him a bit."

The teasing continued, with her siblings playfully demanding all the details of how the relationship began and what their first date would be like. Aurelia obliged, sharing tidbits of their conversations and moments together, feeling a warm sense of belonging as her family celebrated her happiness.

Later that evening, it was Walker's turn to share the news with his family. He gathered them in the living room, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness.

His mom sat on the couch, knitting, while his dad was flipping through channels on the TV. Tanner, his younger brother, was playing a video game, and Leena, his older sister, was reading a magazine.

His mom's face broke into a wide smile. "Oh, Walker, that's wonderful! I'm so happy for you."

His dad nodded approvingly. "She's a great girl. Good for you, son."

Tanner let out a whoop of excitement, jumping up from his seat. "Awesome! Aurelia's so cool!"

Leena gave him a knowing smile. "I had a feeling something was going on between you two. Congrats!"

"Yeah, Walker, you've been grinning like an idiot every time she texts you," Tanner teased, mimicking Walker's expression.

Walker rolled his eyes, laughing. "Thanks, Tanner."

Leena leaned forward, her expression turning more serious but still playful. "So, have you guys decided on a cute couple name yet? Walelia? Auralker?"

Walker groaned at his sister's teasing. "Please, don't start that."

His family continued to tease him, asking about their plans and when they'd get to meet Aurelia officially as his girlfriend. Walker felt a surge of happiness as he saw how supportive his family was. He knew they would be, but seeing their reactions made him even more grateful for the people in his life who cared about him and his newfound relationship with Aurelia.
