ONCE UPON A TIME, there was a maiden whose mother passed away and her hardworking father married a wicked woman and brought along two evil stepsisters. After being covered by cinders, the poor maiden was nicknamed Cinderella, enduring abuse from her vile stepmother and stepsisters for years while her father was away on trips. An invitation to the ball hosted by the prince changes, who is in need of a wife, changes Cinderella's life forever. However, the stepmother and stepsisters ruin Cinderella's dress, leaving her alone as they take a carriage to the ball. Cinderella cries until her Fairy Godmother comes along, summoning a beautiful gown from Cinderella's rags, a pair of glass slippers, and transforming a pumpkin into a carriage. At last, she arrived at the ball, not even her stepmother and stepsisters recognized Cinderella as she danced with the prince. But there was a price to pay—once the clock struck midnight, her stunning dress would turn back into her original rags! When it was midnight, Cinderella rushed away as the prince chased after her, begging for her name, and she left behind a singular glass slipper as she ran off. The prince tried the glass slipper on every maiden in the land until he reached Cinderella's house. The stepsisters cut their toes and heels to try and fit into the slipper, but alas, the shoes were magical and would not fit anyone but the original wearer. Finally, Cinderella arrived and fit into the glass slipper, being whisked away from her abuseful household and to the prince's castle where she had her happily ever after...

GLASS SLIPPERS never enjoyed the idea of Cinderella's fairytale. Before the invitation of the ball and when the Fairy Godmother would arrive, they'd have to endure years of abuse by her stepmother and stepsisters. GLASS SLIPPERS, however, was a hopeless romantic just like their mother, the prior Cinderella. They desperately wanted true love and finding their Prince Charming at the ball was just what they desired. However, with the problem of hating Cinderella's beginning and wishing for Cinderella's overall ending, GLASS SLIPPERS decided to become a Roybel. GLASS SLIPPERS is a kind and gentle person, being quite popular among both Royals and Rebels for their confidence and courage. Similar to their mother, GLASS SLIPPERS adores woodland creatures and fashion, especially the idea of dresses and shoes! Despite not having any powers, GLASS SLIPPERS is a fast runner and practices in track, preparing themself to run away from the ball in top speed. The rest of the backstory, gender (though preferably female), sexuality, and ethnicity is up to you.

ONCE UPON A TIME, there was a girl who wore a red cloak, carrying a basket full of goodies for her ill grandmother in the woods. On this path, she knew the Big Bad Wolf, who was looking for a meal to eat. Poor Red Riding Hood was unsuspecting and unafraid, telling the stranger she was on her way to visit her sick grandmother. At this new opportunity, the Wolf told her to pick flowers for her grandmother, running off to the grandmother's cottage while the little girl was distracted. The Wolf, pretending to be the granddaughter, came into the cottage and devoured the poor old, weak lady. He placed on the grandmother's cap and rested in her bed, waiting for Little Red Riding Hood to come. When she did, the Big Bad Wolf lurched forward and swallowed the little girl. After a large meal, the Wolf became sleepy, snoring just as a huntsman was coming by. The huntsman looked into the window, realizing what had happened, and came into the cottage, cutting open the Wolf's stomach with a pair of scissors. With Little Red Riding Hood and her grandmother freed, the smart little hooded child had an idea. They quickly brought over stones, filling the Wolf's stomach with them, and when the Big Bad Wolf rose from his slumber, he tried to run away and instead fell dead. The huntsman delightfully skinned the Wolf's skin and the trio lived happily ever after...

RED CAP had a lot of pressure on her shoulders to save the Grandmother and defeat the Big Bad Wolf. However, there was an issue—RED CAP grew to love wolves. From a young age, she wandered the woods alone and often stumbled across packs of wolves, befriending them without knowing better due to her curiosity. The wolves were never malicious, they adored RED CAP as well. The idea of her destiny scared RED CAP, so she decided to become a Rebel to avoid terrorizing her beloved wolves. RED CAP has a forest-loving and curious nature, almost seemingly childlike. She's more mousy and quiet than those in her year, but her social groups are typically in Legacy Year and/or older than RED CAP. Her backstory, sexuality, and ethnicity is up to you, but her gender is not.

ONCE UPON A TIME, there was a widowed woodcarver who desperately wanted a boy. He carves a wooden puppet from a tree and then the Blue Fairy appears, granting his wish of wanting a son. The puppet became alive, being able to talk and walk, the woodcarver was overjoyed! However, the puppet, called Pinocchio, had a flaw; his nose would grow every time he lied. Unfortunately for Pinncchio, the puppet dreamed of becoming a real boy and often got himself in dire trouble. The woodcarver and Blue Fairy continuously watched over Pinocchio out of fear he finally got into trouble he couldn't get out of. After several tricky adventures, the wooden puppet comes to a conclusion that he must be a better person. He soon leaves his trickster and selfish tendencies behind in the past, and the Blue Fairy rewards him with becoming a real boy. Pinocchio and the widowed man live happily ever after...

PUPPET MASTER is quite alike to their father, Pinocchio, with their rebellious and troublemaking nature. They pull elaborate tricks, get into trouble often, and pay a lot of trips to Headmaster Grimm's office. The irony is that they can not lie, or else their nose grows, so they always have to admit to their misdoings. Stubborn, selfish, ignorant, and often brutally honest, PUPPET MASTER is neither loved or hated by the students of Ever After. They are a Rebel because PUPPET MASTER realized that if they signed the Storybook of Legends and followed their destiny, they would have to become a real human. PUPPET MASTER actually preferred staying as a wooden puppet because they despise change. Despite causing pranks that disrupt order, PUPPET MASTER selfishly does not like it when it happens to themself. Backstory, gender, and sexuality is up to you, but PUPPET MASTER is Italian.

ONCE UPON A TIME, there was a battle between the White Queen and Red Queen in Wonderland. On the chessboard battlefield, the White Knight stood by his queen and the Red Knight by his. The Red Knight's only duty was to serve his queen, nothing more than a loyal devotee. As a skilled swordsman, his service is to kill and do whatever at the Red Queen's request. On his steady horse, the Red Knight rides into battle and his destiny is then decided among the fates.

CHESS PAWN has lived in Wonderland for most of his life, residing in the Red Queen's palace. Before coming to Ever After High, he stayed at Wonderland High and was a highly trained and skilled swordsman in service to the Red Queen. However, when the Evil Queen cursed Wonderland, causing the realm to be mostly inhabitable, the Red Queen was stubborn, declaring that she would "go down with the ship." As CHESS PAWN's final act of service, he was tasked by the queen to watch over her child, the next Red Queen. The next Red Queen and CHESS PAWN went to Ever After shortly after, that is why CHESS PAWN is older than most in Legacy Year. Despite being an honourable knight, CHESS PAWN tries to avoid starting conflict and in battles, he's more observant before attacking. Highly strategic and more silent than most, CHESS PAWN is the most loyal person in Ever After High, hence why he is a Royal—he can not picture not accepting the role he was raised to have. Backstory, sexuality, and ethnicity are up to you, but the gender is not.

ONCE UPON A TIME, Captain James Bartholomew Hook manned the Jolly Roger and sailed across Neverland. However, he lost his hand when Peter Pan sliced it off, feeding it to a crocodile instead. Since then, Captain Hook became murderous and has plotted his revenge on Peter Pan numerous times, but he was always destined to fail. Captain Hook would be defeated at the hands of Peter Pan, Wendy Darling, Tinkerbell, and the rest of the Lost Boys. Truly a horrible fate.

HOOKED HAND is cunning and manipulative, always wanting to have the upper hand (or hook). He isn't loud about it though, he often just lurks in the shadows of Ever After High, waiting for the next bit of leverage he can hold over someone. He enjoys blackmailing people, even on small secrets, because it makes him feel like he has power. Despite being power-hungry, undoubtedly, several EAH students swoon over HOOKED HAND's rugged good looks. This unwanted romantic attention actually annoys him, but it gives him a bit of a power-thrill. HOOKED HAND chose to be a Roybel because he did not want to be defeated at the hands of Peter Pan and the other entities of Neverland. He's perfectly okay with not following his destiny since it was going to end up badly anyways, but liked the ship aspect of being the next Captain Hook. HOOKED HAND's backstory and sexuality, but his gender and ethnicity—he's British—is not.
