HOTTIE ( only Aurelie I'm taken Chat )

Aurelie lay sprawled across the couch, her head hanging off the edge as she absentmindedly scrolled through her phone.

Aidan was sitting on the floor in front of the TV, playing a video game with the volume turned low.

The familiar sounds of button-mashing and light banter filled the room, creating an easygoing atmosphere, the kind only shared between siblings who had known each other their whole lives.

"Hey," Aidan called without turning around, still focused on his game. "You're being awfully quiet today. What's up?"

Aurelie sighed, letting her phone fall onto her chest. "Just tired, I guess. Been a lot going on with press stuff."

Aidan chuckled, keeping his eyes on the screen. "You always say that, but you secretly love all the attention. Admit it."

"Yeah, yeah," she muttered, tossing a pillow at him that bounced off his head. "But seriously, I'm wiped. And we still have the premiere coming up."

Aidan paused his game and finally turned to look at her, raising an eyebrow. "Speaking of the premiere... have you figured out what you're wearing yet?"

Aurelie groaned, shifting to sit upright on the couch. "I haven't even thought about it. Mom's already bugging me to try on dresses, and Sienna's acting like it's the Met Gala or something."

"Sounds like a typical day in the Moreau household," Aidan teased. "But hey, at least you get to see everyone. I heard the whole crew's gonna be there."

Aurelie shrugged, not really paying attention. "Yeah, I guess."

Aidan glanced at her, hesitating for a moment before speaking again. "Well, not just them."

Aurelie frowned, her curiosity piqued by his tone. "What do you mean?"

Aidan scratched the back of his neck awkwardly. "I wasn't sure if I should bring it up, but I overheard Mom and Dad talking earlier. Apparently, Walker's coming to the premiere."

The words hit Aurelie like a punch in the gut. She sat up straighter, her eyes wide. "Wait, what? Walker's coming?"

Aidan nodded slowly, watching her carefully. "Yeah, I guess his family got invited, and he's planning to show up. I thought you knew."

Aurelie felt her stomach twist into knots. She hadn't seen or spoken to Walker in over a month, not since the breakup. The idea of seeing him, let alone at such a public event, felt overwhelming.

She wasn't sure how she'd handle it, especially with everything still so raw between them.

"No, I didn't know," she murmured, running a hand through her hair. "Why didn't anyone tell me?"

Aidan shrugged. "Maybe they didn't want to stress you out. But I figured you should know. It's better to be prepared, right?"

Aurelie bit her lip, her mind racing. She wasn't prepared—at all.

The breakup as said many times before still fresh, and the thought of seeing Walker again stirred up all kinds of emotions she wasn't ready to deal with.

"Great," she muttered, sinking back into the couch. "This is just... great."

Aidan stood up and walked over to sit beside her, nudging her with his elbow. "Look, I know it's awkward. But you're strong, Aurel. You've been through way tougher stuff than this."

Aurelie sighed, resting her head on his shoulder. "I don't know, Aidan. I feel like I've barely started to get over him, and now I have to see him again? What if it's weird?"

"It's probably gonna be weird," Aidan admitted. "But you'll get through it. And hey, maybe it won't be as bad as you're imagining."

"Or maybe it'll be worse," Aurelie said with a nervous laugh. "I'm not sure I'm ready for this."

Aidan wrapped an arm around her shoulders, giving her a reassuring squeeze. "You'll be fine. And if things get too intense, you've got your whole family and friends there to back you up. You won't be alone."

Aurelie smiled faintly, feeling a little better. She was grateful for Aidan's support, even if the thought of seeing Walker again still made her heart race with anxiety.

"Thanks, Aidan," she said softly. "I just hope I don't make a complete fool of myself."

Aidan chuckled. "If anyone makes a fool of themselves, it'll be me. You've seen how clumsy I am in dress shoes."

Aurelie laughed, feeling a bit lighter. "Yeah, you're probably right. You'll trip on the red carpet, and all eyes will be on you, not me."

Aidan grinned. "Exactly. I'll take one for the team."

For a moment, the tension in her chest loosened, but the reality of Walker being at the premiere still lingered in the back of her mind. She leaned her head back, staring at the ceiling.

"Do you think..." she started, then hesitated. "Do you think it'll be awkward between us? I mean, i dont know what terms we ended on ."

Aidan didn't answer right away, and she could tell he was choosing his words carefully. "I don't know, Aurel. You two were close, really close. So yeah, it might be awkward. But maybe it'll also give you guys a chance to clear the air."

"Clear the air," she echoed, as if testing the idea. "I don't know if that's possible, Aidan. I messed up, and I don't think he's ready to forgive me. Heck, I'm not sure I'm ready to forgive myself."

Aidan looked at her with a mix of concern and understanding. "You're too hard on yourself, you know that? Whatever happened, you've both had time apart. Maybe seeing each other again will give you some closure. Or... who knows, maybe it'll be a second chance."

Aurelie's heart skipped a beat at the thought of a second chance, but she quickly shook her head. "I don't think so. I think it's too late for that."

Aidan gave her a small, encouraging smile. "Never say never, right?"

She sighed, leaning against him once more. "Yeah, I guess we'll see."

The room fell into a comfortable silence after that, with the distant sound of Aidan's video game playing in the background. Despite the calm, Aurelie's thoughts kept spinning, replaying the memories of her and Walker—especially the ones that felt too close, too fresh.

But there was no running from it now. The premiere was coming, and so was Walker.

And she had no idea what would happen when their worlds collided again.
