FAMILY DAY

Jacaerys and Visenya were happy babies. They were always smiling. Klaus and his brothers were so in love with their baby brother and sister that they would not let them out of their sight. Dean and Sam refused to leave New Orleans until their baby brother and sister learned how to take care of themselves. Henrik enjoyed being the older brother. For once he was no longer called little brother or baby brother which used to annoy him to no end.

There was no word of Rebekah though, which saddened the dragon queen. The witches had come to accept that as long no one messed with the woman nor her children no one would get hurt. They were allowed to practice their magic in peace with no trouble. Hayley was going to be marrying Jackson soon which made Rhaenyra sad. Hayley would be making her own life. Perhaps even have kids of her own.

Jackson was nice, a gentleman. Rhaenyra approved. Silas and the rest were a bit icky about it at first but they saw he had good intentions and it was a beneficial for their pack, besides Hayley wanted to do it. They thought no one would be good enough for Hayley. Hayley had become part of her family in a way the she-wolf never imagined she would be. Even though she found her people and somewhat the family she was looking for Rhaenyra and her family were her true and only family to her.

When Rhaenyra made it home she found her oldest children, and husband with the babies. Klaus was sitting down while carrying Visenya. Visenya was smiling as was Klaus. As soon as she saw her mother Visenya made weird signals saying she wanted her mother to carry her.

Rhaneyra made her way. She had a coffee cup on one hand a box of doughnuts on the other.

"I brought doughnuts" she says as she puts the doughnut box on the counter. "Come here, sweetheart. I've missed you" she says to her daughter as she pulls her closer to her.

"You're growing up so fast" she mutters to baby Visenya. "I remember when you were this small" she looks at her sons. Missing her three girls. Rebekah was probably with Marcel, Freya was nowhere to be found and Hayley was in the bayou with her pack. Rhaenyra gave Visenya back to Klaus as she made her way to the kitchen. "Have you guys eaten yet?" she asked. "No" they all replied. "You guys should've called me, I would've brought you some food from the restaurant" she stated. "We forgot. We were busy being parents" Kol replied making his mother roll her eyes. Kol had to admit when he saw his mother with a man he was jealous. He thought he would loose his mother but she loved him. She loved her children more than anything and they knew it.

But as soon as he laid eyes on Jace and Vis as they called their little siblings he was gone. Done for. He would do anything for them and he knew he would do anything they asked. Now, he couldn't stay away from them for too long. He was like a new mother, calling every ten minutes to make sure they were eating, sleeping and getting changed every time. Dean was the same. He would go out and into town and the second he did he would call whoever was left at home with the kids.

All of the brothers and sister loved the new additions but some knew how to contain their excitement. Elijah, Finn, Sam, Hayley and Henrik were cool and collected about the I little brother and sister. Klaus, Kol and Dean were not. They were too in love with the babies to care about anything else. Klaus had forgotten all about being king. All he wanted to was spend time with Vis and Jace. Silas decided to help Rhaneyra and handed Jacaerys to Dean who gladly accepted the baby boy.

"They're so besotted with them" Silas muttered as they saw the brothers make funny faces. Silas leaned in to kiss his wife.

"I know. But they're very helpful, especially when I have to work" she stated. Silas nodded. Sam walked over to the couple. "You know I never thought I would have this" Sam said as he pointed at the couple and his siblings. "All Dean and I have ever known is the hunting life. When I left for Stanford I thought I had finally gotten out but then Jess died and I wanted to avenge her. And I did. But I felt empty. Now, I feel happy and full of love. From my brothers, sisters and mother. Silas has grown on me but not enough for me to call him dad. No offense" Sam said with a smile making Rhaenyra and Silas laugh. "None taken" Silas said with a smile.

"Hey, I least you like me. Which is better than nothing" Silas stated. "They all like you but you know how dramatic they can be" Rhaenyra nodded. "You got that right. Kol, took it the hardest. I think it's because he and Finn and been neglected the most. But, now I'm here. To give them all the lose and support they need" both Finn and Kol turned as their mother waved and smile at them. A few minutes later the food was ready. "Come on, boys. Food is ready" the boys stood up and walked over to the table. Dean and Klaus placed the kids on their blankets. They were happy and quiet. But every time someone would turn to face them, they would smile or laugh.

"This babies are too cute for their own good" Dean stated making the brothers smile and nod. They all sat down and began to eat. Looking over the babies constantly just in case.

"I feel like something dark is coming" Rhaenyra muttered but they all heard. "What do you mean?" Finn asked. "I don't know. It's like something is coming yet, there is something else here. In town. I just can't place my finger on it" she replied. "Just be careful, okay? If something happens call me immediately" her sons simply nodded.

They had gotten worried they had been happy and in peace for a few months. It surprised them how no one had dared to even breathe in their direction. Which neither of them mind really, they were left alone so they were winning. After they finished was over they had doughnuts as their dessert. "How about a picture?" Rhaenyra asked making them groan. Well, more like Klaus and Dean but the rest smile and nodded. "Alright, here we go" she said as she placed the camera on selfie mode. They all smiled.

"We look perfect" she said as she showed them the picture. "Of course we do. I'm in it" Kol said. His brothers rolled their eyes. They should've seen it coming. Rhaenyra was right something dark was coming and something dark was already here. Mikael was back. Esther and her sister were coming back soon.
