Rhaenyra used to be a kind woman, but that was a long time ago. She learned that the world was not as good as she believed it was. It wasn't a fairytale. A few hours ago she had learned from one of Klaus' hybrids that Alaric Saltzman was awake and in transition. She also knew he had completed his transition. Rhaenyra was in the war room when Kol walked in.

"Mother" he greeted her. "Hi, sweetheart" she kissed his cheek. "Say, can we kill people because I'm getting bored?" she made her way to the chair of the queen. She turned around to face Kol with a smile. "Darling, you can kill whoever you want but not the doppelgänger and her annoying friends" he smirked and gave her a nod. "Thank you, mother" he kissed her cheek and walked away. Klaus and Henrik walked right in. "Hello mother" they both walked in and hugged her. "Hi, boys. What's going on?" she asked. "Well, the doppelgänger and her friends are looking for us. But, we're always one step ahead" Klaus replied. "I think it's time I pay a visit, don't you think?" both brothers nodded. Rhaenyra wore an all black outfit. Her crown, of course, black as well.

She knew the Scooby gang was at the Salvatore helping Alaric. The doors at the Salvatore house opened and the queen walked in.

It as safe to say they were shocked. "Well, well, well" she said with as smirk as she made her way towards them.

"Alaric, dear. How are you feeling?" she asks with a fake concerned look. Stefan and Elena scoffed, Damon had to say he was impressed. I mean the way she had worked. He believed the day she walked into their house after killing Finn that she would kill them right there on the spot. He thought it was good that she hasn't but how wrong he was. He would've preferred to have die that day than have to agonize about it. To not know when it was coming. He wondered if she would kill them right now. "Why so down, mate?" Klaus asked Alaric with a smirk. Alaric didn't find that question amusing nor funny. "Are you happy?" Alaric asked. "You've come to laugh at our faces? This was your punishment?" Stefan asked and she smirked as she walked to where they were.

"Stefan, sweetheart, let me let you into a secret" she starts. "This is just the beginning. In do time Alaric will do his task and many will suffer" she turned to Caroline and Tyler. "The mayor and sheriff" she saw Tyler and Caroline stiffened. "They're supposed to protect the town from supernatural beings but their son and daughter are one. How would the council react?" she pretend to think. "Ah, and all those cities that will burn and be destroy" she said as she walked around the living room.

"Because I'm in a good mood I'm gonna tell you what Alaric is going to do" she began to smirk once again. "Alaric is a vampire hunter and now that he's a vampire his need to hunt vampire is magnified. So, every time he sees a vampire or someone who cares about vampires he will have the deep desire to slaughter them all" Rhaenyra, Klaus and Henrik saw the terrified look in their faces. Klaus had to admit, he liked the fear his mother could inflict on others. She was like him. Or rather, he was like her. At least he knew it was genetic thing. "You can always kill him" she offered a as she looked down before smiling, mocking them.

"But..." she stop to make it more dramatic. "If you kill Alaric to stop him..." she turns to Elena. "You kill Elena" she says with a smirk. The room fell into silence. The Scooby gang was processing the information. "So, if Alaric dies, Elena dies. If Elena dies, Alaric dies" Klaus explains and his mother nods. "I listened to my father for years and learned how to punish my enemies. I don't like it when someone hurts my children. It's a very dangerous thing to do. Now, not only will you pay for it, but innocent people will suffer for your stupidity. They'll know who to blame when the sky falls down upon them" with that the queen and her children were gone.

Elena was scared. She felt scared when she knew Klaus was coming for her, but this was different. This women killed Alaric without hesitation. Everyone knew killing Finn was a bad idea but Elena wanted the original family gone. As they planned, or tried to they heard rumbling. They thought perhaps it was a earthquake. When they stepped outside they saw fire. They didn't know where it came from until fire was raining down on them. They heard the screech. A dragon a fucken dragon! They all thought.

"What the fuck?!" Damon yelled. The dragon was burning the forest that surrender the Salvatore house.

They were too shocked to move or even react. All they could see was a dragon flying and burning everything in its path. Dragon was finally burning something. After years or just being around. Finally they all reacted and the vampires ran taking the non-vampires with them. The town was quiet, since the recent murders the people have been ordered to stay home unless necessary. Only a few people were out and about when they heard the screech and saw the dragon again. This time it didn't just fly by, it burned everything on its path.

"She's doing this" Elena said to her friends. Caroline was mad. "Yeah, Elena. She is. And it's all your fault" Caroline said as she pointed at the doppelgänger who looked hurt at Caroline's accusations. "Yes, Elena, your fault. Don't pretend to be a saint now. We all told you this was a bad idea but no, you wanted Klaus gone along with his family. Days before you saw what she did the king of Hell and his brother. Archangels, Elena. Fucken Archangels! What did you think was gonna happen to us?! We're gonna die! Innocent people will die because of you!" Caroline yelled.

It was true, it was the doppelgänger fault but as always, she blamed it on the the originals. "I did it so Klaus could leave us alone!" Elena defended herself. "Be real Elena, ever since Rhaenyra came to town, Klaus was behaving. They had their family, they were not causing trouble. But, no. Elena Gilbert wanted them gone and now, we're the ones who are going to die!" Caroline yelled as the dragon passed by once again.

This time it landed close by and screeched scaring the life out of them.

They saw a person on top of the dragon.

As the dragon roared at them, it leaned down, they finally saw who it was. Rhaenyra, who smirked before commanding drogon to fly away.

Here you all go. Another chapter! I just wanted to say that this might be one of my last stories before I stop writing. It's not a sure thing but I might not write anymore. But, I will finish the story! Hope you liked the chapter.
