𝓢𝓶𝓮𝓵𝓵𝓼 𝓛𝓲𝓴𝓮 𝓣𝓮𝓮𝓷 𝓢𝓹𝓲𝓻𝓲𝓽

Caroline dragged me to the school on a Sunday night because of prank night. I asked Jenna if she could watch my boys and she gladly agreed. Now we're putting plastic cups on the gym When Matt walks through the doors. "Ohh! Oh, come on! Seriously?! Do you know how long it took for us to set all this up?!" Caroline screamed. "Forgot about senior prank night, huh?" Tyler asked with a small smile and Matt nodded, a small laughed escaping him. "Clearly," he replied. "How could you forget? We've only been waiting for this since like freshman year" Caroline added and the rest of us gave her a teasing look. "Yeah Matt," Elena my sister mocked with a little smile knowing Caroline. Caroline walked up to him and kissed him. "If I'm doing this, you're doing this," I say pointing at him with a cup.

"I'm kind of surprise any of you are doing this," Matt says. "Caroline is making us," Bonnie whispered although we all heard. We laughed. "We're about to be seniors!" Caroline exclaims. "This are the memories that stay with us forever, and if we don't create these memories now, then what's the point of it all?" Elena and I said at the same time. "Go ahead make fun, I don't care," Caroline said but smiled knowing that she had said those exact words. "You are all lame. And I got ten more classrooms to prank" Tyler says before while walking away. I start to walk away too when Bonnie says "Hey! Where are you going?" I smile at her. "To superglue, Alaric's desk shut. I'm making memories" I reply. "I love you!" Caroline yells while doing a little dance. "Get the faculty toilet seats, and Dana needs bodies in the gym, let's go," Tyler calls out.

I started to walk to Alaric's classroom when I bump into someone. I was about to apologize when I recognized the voice. "There's my girl," Klaus said. "Klaus!" I yelled. "You are supposed to be dead. What are we going to do about that?" he asks as he walks me back to the gym. "You put a rather large kink in my plans, sweetheart," he begins. "The whole point of breaking the curse and becoming a hybrid was to make more hybrids. I haven't been able to do that. Now my bet is, it has something to do with the fact that you're still breathing," I try to pull away and he holds me closer to him. "If you're going to kill me, just do it!" I yell at him. "Not until I know I'm right. But I do have ways to make you suffer," he answers. "Attention, seniors. You have officially been busted. Prank night is over. Head on home. You two," he points at Dana and Chad. "I remember you," he says to Dana.

I'm sorry. Who are you?" she asked. "Oh, don't worry, I wasn't in my right head the last time we met. Lift your foot up, please Dana. If she drops her foot, Chad, I want you to beat her to death" Klaus orders. "Don't Klaus, you don't have to hurt anyone" I tell him. "Oh, come on, love. Of course, I do" he replies. "Keep it up," he says to her. "Where's Stefan? What did you do to him?" I ask. "Stefan is on a time out" was all he said. Bonnie walked through the door. "Bonnie get out of here!" I scream at her but before she could do anything Klaus was already in front of her. "Ah, I was wondering when you'd show up. Now we can get started" he pulls her by the arm over to us.

"Dana, why don't you relax? You Chad sit tight" the two teens obey and sit down. "I assume you're the reason Elizabeth's still walking around alive?" he asks Bonnie. "That's right. If you want to blame someone blame me," she replies. "Oh, there's no need for blame, love. Just your witchy interference seems to have caused some undesirable side effects. And since you caused the problem, I'm going to have you find the fix," A blonde girl came in with Tyler, pulling by the arm. "Get off me!" he yells at the girl. "I'd like you all to meet my sister Rebekah. Word of warning she can be quite mean," he warns although it seems like he was teasing. "Don't be an ass" talks back. "Don't be like that to your sister"I spoke at the same time. She looked at me. "Leave him alone Klaus," I say.

"I'm going to make this very simple. Every time I attempt to turn a werewolf into a hybrid, they die during the transition," he states while feeding Tyler his blood. "It's quite horrible, actually. I need you to find a way to save my hybrids, Bonnie and for Tyler sake, you better hurry," Klaus says before snapping Tyler's head. I cover my mouth trying not to scream. "He killed him," Matt mutters. "He's not dead. Klaus's blood will turn him into a vampire" I say trying to somewhat make this terrible situation better. "And if Bonnie's successful, he'll live through his transition. Go on, then. Go fetch your grimoires and enchantments and what-not. I'll hold on to Elizabeth for safe-keeping," he says before pulling me close.

"So this is the latest doppelgänger. You're prettier than the original one" Rebekah compliments and I smile at her. "Thank you, Rebekah. I'm Elizabeth by the way or Belle if you prefer" I say and she nods. "Take the wolf boy elsewhere, would you?" he asks his sister. He turned around to face me, he was right in front of me. He pushed a piece of my hair back. "Pretty little thing" he whispered. Stefan runs through the doors. "Klaus," his voice echos in the room. "Stefan," I whispered. "Come to save your damsel, mate?" Klaus mocked. " I came to ask for your forgiveness. And pledge my loyalty," he replies. "Well, you broke that pledge once already," I look between Klaus and Stefan. Both men looking at each other. "Elizabeth means nothing to me anymore. And whatever you ask of me I will do," Stefan said loud enough for me to hear. I felt my heart break a little. "Fair enough. Let's drink on it. Kill them. What are you waiting for? Kill them," Klaus orders.

"No! Stefan, don't. He's not going to hurt me. He already said-- ahh!" I scream as I felt Klaus slap me. Stefan rushed towards Klaus but he stopped him. "She means nothing to you?! Your lies keep piling up!" Klaus yelled at him. "Let her go! I'll do whatever you want, you have my word!" Stefan begs but I knew he was making worse for him. "Your word doesn't mean much. I lived by your word all summer, during which time I never had to resort to this. Stop fighting," Klaus compels Stefan. "Please don't do this. Don't do this," Stefan and I beg at the same time. "I didn't want to. All I wanted was your allegiance. Now I'm going to have to take it," panic starts to set in. "Don't" I mutter. "Don't. You will not run, you will not hide, you will simply just obeyed," Klaus orders. "No! Stefan!" I scream. "Kill them. Ripper," Stefan does as he is told.  "It's always nice to see a vampire in his true element. The species has become such a broody lot," I glare at Klaus. "No. You did this to him" I say. Rebekah walks in and starts yelling at me.

"Where is it?! Where is my necklace?" she yells as she makes her way to me. "What are you talking about?" her brother asks. "She has my necklace, Look," she shows Klaus a picture of me and Stefan on Caroline's phone. "Well, well.  More lies. Where is it?" he asked. "I don't have it anymore," I reply. "You're lying," she accuses before running towards me trying to bite but I stop her with my magic.

Rebekah flies across the room. "Don't touch me!" I warn. "Knock it off!" Klaus orders looking between me and her. "Make her tell me where it is, Nik!" Rebekah whines and I roll my eyes. "Where's the necklace, sweetheart? Be honest," Klaus asks with a softer tone than before." I'm telling the truth, Katherine has it," I say truthfully. Katherine asked if she could borrow it so I gave it to her. "Katerina. Of course. Well, that's unfortunate. If we had the necklace it would make things a whole lot easier for your witch, but since we're doing this the hard way, let's put a clock on it, shall we? If Bonnie hasn't found a solution by then I want you to feed again" Klaus starts walking towards me. He put a piece of my hair behind my ear. "Only this time, I want you to feed on Elizabeth. You know you want to," he teases Stefan by being close to me and telling him to feed of me.

"No! Klaus don't do this to him!" I beg. "No one leaves. If she tries to run, fracture her spine," Klaus orders. I knew no matter what I said he was gonna come after me. So I talked about our kids. "I know no matter what you'll come after me. So, I just want you to know that I had two boys," I say to him. I saw him stop for a second, he was fighting. "Caroline's dad fought compulsion," I remembered. "Maybe it's possible, but it took him a long time Belle. And I don't have years I have five minutes," he replies. "You can control it, Stefan. When that buzzer goes off just drink from me," I say. "You don't get it. I can't stop, Belle! I'm a ripper! A ripper doesn't stop! I listen to the words that come out of your mouth, and all I hear is the sound of your heart pumping through your body. And when that clock ticks down I'm going to have to feed on you. And you know what's worse? I'm not going to be able to stop," the tone was sad.

"I don't believe that. You can fight it. You just have to want it bad enough," I state. I wasn't sure I believed it myself but I hoped it would be enough. "Why? Because I love you?" he asks. "Yeah! That's right, Stefan. Because you love me and you love your two sons. Grayson and Alexander. You'll fight because after everything that we've been through, you owe me that!" I say to him as I felt the tears. "You know what? You're right. You're right. I owe you everything. Because through all of this, you and my sons are the one thing that has kept me from giving up; from turning it all off. But I can't help what I am, Belle. The more blood I get, the more I want, and if I get so much as near as yours. You're as good as dead," he replies before turning around.

He turns around. He looks like he is in pain. "Belle, you're going to have to run," he says. "But Klaus said that if I run..." Stefan cut me off. "I know what he said, but if you stay, it won't matter," Stefan says and I nod. "Belle, please, please, please. There's no other way," he begs. "There's another way Stefan, it's for you to fight" I say. The clock reaches zero. "I love you, Stefan. Fight, Stefan. Don't give up," I say in hopes that it might work.

"I can't hold it," was all he said before he rushed towards me. I scream before running. "Belle. Run! Go!" Stefan screamed at me. I ran out of the gym into the hallway Stefan was right behind me. Running slamming himself into the lockers. I ran through the door, I running into Klaus once again. He has the worst timing "We've got to stop meeting like this," he states with a smile. Stefan ran into the cafeteria. He grabs a broom and breaks it in half before stabbing himself.

"Now this is fascinating. I've never seen this before. The only thing stronger than your craving for blood is your love for this one girl. Why don't you turn it off?" Klaus asks. "No," was all Stefan said to him. "Come on. Your humanity is killing you. All the guilt it must be exhausting," Klaus adds. "Turn it off," said Klaus. "No!" Stefan yells as he pushes him back. "You're strong. But you're not that strong. Turn it off," Klaus says once again taking the stake out of Stefan's stomach. "No!" Stefan yells once again. "Turn it off!" Klaus orders or rather compels him. And so he does. Stefan turns off his humanity.

I saw his humanity disappear. "What did you do?" I ask quietly. "I fixed him. But I think a test is in order, don't you? Ripper. Perhaps you'd like a drink from the doppelgänger's neck?" Klaus asks as he moves my hair to the side, showing my neck to Stefan. Stefan rushes towards me, and then, he bites me. I don't stay awake long. Soon after, everything went black.

I feel myself waking up. I look around. I'm at the hospital. I saw a nurse come in. "Where am I?" I ask. "In the hospital, sweetie. You suffered through a terrible ordeal," she replies. "I have to get out of here," I say trying to get up. "Ah, not an option. You've lost a lot of blood," she says. She holds me back. Things start to become more clear and she's not giving me blood, she's taking my blood. "Wait. You're taking my blood?" I ask and she nods. "Of course. It's very important for your friend Klaus. He told me you need plenty of rest" the nurse injects me with a sedative. I feel darkness surround me once again.

I felt someone trying to wake me. The first person I see is Damon. Or am I imagining things now? "Damon?" I ask confusingly. "Hey" that was all he said. The blue eyed Salvatore starts to unplug all the needles before carrying me out. Damon took me to the boarding house. "Hey, have some bourbon. It will help you forget," I took the glass from his hand. I took a sip. "Mmm," I say. It was strong. "Yeah, it's strong," Damon replies as if he read my mind. "You know I can help you forget too. At least the memories you don't want to keep," he offers. "You can't. I'm a witch remember? But I need to remember. All of it," I reply. Damon showed me the necklace Stefan got me. "I stole back from you" he hands it back to me. This is the second time he finds it and gives it back to me. I thank him.

"He's really gone this time. I watched it happen. After everything we went through to help him. Now he's just gone. Where were you, Damon?" I ask. "I shouldn't have left. I promise you I will never leave you again," he holds my hand. Our moment is interrupted by another voice. "Well isn't this cozy?" Stefan asks as he walks through the door. "What are you doing here, brother? Damon asks him. "Last time I checked I live here," he quickly replies. "Klaus is gone but he has asked me to keep watch on you until he returns. From now on, you're under my protection. Mmm, by all means. Carry on." he walks inside the house.

I grab Damon's hand. "Let's go home, Damon. Our kids need us," I said knowing Stefan was listening. I saw him tense up when I mentioned the kids. I knew this would hurt him but he needed to feel something. We picked the kids up from Jenna's house but not before telling her and Alaric what had happened. After a while we went home. It was a long night. I had showered and put the kids to bed. I sat by the window it was raining so I sat down and cried. Damon walked in. "Elle?" he called out to me. A Hmm was all I could say as I sat on the couch.

In the past three months, Damon had been my rock. He was the one I went through for anything. We became close. "Scoot over Elle," he tells me before sitting next to me and cuddling me.

Damon's Pov

Elena, Jeremy, Jenna, and Alaric rushing in. The brother and sister had just found out about what had happened. But Elle was already asleep. "How is she?" her sister asked. "She's fine. A little shaken but fine," I reply while looking at her. She was hurt and I wasn't there to protect her. "She's going to be okay. She's strong guys. She will fight," I say and they nod. "We'll come back tomorrow. to see her. Tell her we stopped by," Elena says before bidding her goodbye along with the other three.

I know I skip a few chapters but she's not in many of them.

Maybe Elle will fall for Damon....
