(So I'm going to skip crying wolf, the dinner party, the houseguest, and know thy enemy because well is not much to say).

Isabel is gone. Elijah disappeared without a trace. Luka and his dad are dead. I don't know what is happening. I have been feeling sick and don't know what's happening. Stefan, Daemon, and I are going through a rough patch since they discovered I will die in the sacrifice. But they don't understand that everyone I love will be fine. I don't want anyone else to die so that they can save me. They have to understand that and accept it because it's happening whether they like it or not.

Bonnie wants to kill Klaus but I don't want her to get hurt in the process. I know trying to kill him will take a lot of power and I can't risk her life like that, no matter how much she offers and says she will be okay. I have been staying at my house. Jenna has been staying here too. She found out Elena lied to her about her birth mother. Well, our birth mother. I told her the truth the moment I found out.b What I didn't know was that she was alive, well, somewhat alive, and a vampire at that. Elena forgot to mention that little detail about our mother. So, I've been staying at home. A knock on my door interrupts my thoughts. When I open the door I come face to face with Damon.

"Hey, Dames. What are you doing here?" I ask. "Did you forget you were supposed to be at my house, to sign the papers to the house?" he replied with a sigh which let me know he was irritated about me forgetting to meet at his house. "Oh, right. Sorry, it must have slipped my mind" I reply with an embarrassed look. "Come on let's go," he pretty much rushes me out of the house to head back to his.

We arrived at the Salvatore house, and the lawyer was already there waiting for us. "Please sign here," he points at where I need to sign. "So this place is all yours? They just gave it to you?" Bonnie asked. "For now, as the sole owner, I'm the only one who can invite a certain type of people here," I reply. "Your own personal safe house," Bonnie adds. "That's the idea. We need to protect Belle," Elena adds to what Bonnie said and the Salvatore brothers nod agreeing with my sister. "Wouldn't want to clean it," Bonnie joked, Elena and I laughed.

I open the door, and the lawyer steps out. "Thank you, Mr. Henry," the man nods and makes his way to his car before driving off. "Stefan, Damon would you guys like to come in?" I ask with a smile and they nod. "I would love too," Damon and Stefan reply at the same time. I grab my jacket and backpack and start making my way out the door but Stefan grabs my hand. "Wait, where are you guys going?" Stefan walks right behind me. "To school," I reply.

"No, no, no. We didn't create a safe house for you to leave it," Damon says as he holds my hand. "Yeah, Klaus, is out there. We know that" Stefan adds. "Right. But where? No one knows" I state. There was no point on a safe house when I knew nothing about Klaus nor what he looked like. Or if he was even here in town. "Look I appreciate what you guys are doing. And we'll be able to sleep at night knowing that we'll be safe here, but we are not going to be prisoners," I add making sure they know I'm not backing out on going to school. Damon playfully rolls his eyes before speaking again. "Okay Belle, just be careful and call if you need anything," Damon finally gives in. "Don't worry if he shows, I can take him, I know I can," Bonnie chimed in. "The way I see it next to Bonnie and Belle is the safest place to be," my sister adds. We start to leave. "Wait, um, I'm coming with you," Stefan says before grabbing his stuff and making his way right behind us.

We made it to school and class just in time. As class started, everyone started to get in their seats, waiting for Alaric to come in. I get the poster for the 60's decade dance and show it to Stefan, and he smiles but shakes his head no. I show it to Bonnie, and she nods. Alaric comes in. "Hello, class. What are we learning today?" he asks although it seems he's talking to himself. "With the decade dance tonight, we've been covering the sixties all week," Dana replied. "Right the sixties," Alaric mutters.

KLAUS' POV

I was looking around for my precious doppelgänger Elena Gilbert, and I found her. She's a little dull, she looks like any other Petrova doppelgänger that I've encountered but I can't complain, she'll help me break the curse. I was looking around the classroom when I came back to Elena I looked at the person next to her. I had to look twice because I thought my eyes were deceiving me. I didn't even know she existed. She looks so much like Isabella, but she looks more full of life and more beautiful, she's perfect. Isabella, Katerina, Tatia, and even Tatia's sister Alara didn't look that beautiful.

I can see the power radiating off her. Maddox told me if there was to be another doppelgänger, she would be as powerful as me. Maybe even more and that I should use her instead of the Katerina look alike. But I don't know if she has any supernatural powers. I see Stefan looking at her with such love in his eyes. He's in love with her. I thought he was in love with Elena. Apparently not. And it seems like she loves him too. Alara was the love of my life, but just like her sister, she was toying with Finn, Elijah, Kol, and me. At least her sister only had Elijah and me.

BELLE'S POV

Alaric turns to the board. "The, uh, ahem..." Rick began awkwardly. "The sixties. I wish there was something I could say about the sixties, but... actually, they kind of sucked. Except for the Beatles, of course. They made it bearable. Uh, what else was there? The Cuban missile thing, the... we walked on the moon. There was Watergate" he said  "The Watergate was the seventies, Mr. Saltzman. " I said. "Right. It all kind of mushes together up here, the seventies. Thank you, Ms. Gilbert," said Alaric.

Finally, we were halfway done with school. We were sitting down at the cafeteria during lunch. Bonnie sat down, and I saw Jeremy walk away from her looking a little angry. "What's going on?" I ask. "She told Jer he had to dress up tonight and he got all uptight," Elena replied with a teasing smile. "Oh," it was my turn to smile.

Dana walks over to our table. "Hey, Belle, there you are. Okay, this is going to sound freaky, but this totally hot guy just asked me to ask you if you're going to the dance tonight" she says happily. Too happy for my liking and I knew who it was. "Tell him she has a boyfriend," Bonnie replied for me. "You could at least meet him. He'll be at the dance tonight. Look for him, his name is Klaus," Dana said. I almost choked on my drink when I heard the name yet I knew it was him before she even said his name.

"What did you just say?" Elena was the one to speak this time. "His name is Klaus, I know the name is stupid, but I swear he's hot," Dana replies. "Where is he? Is he here?" Bonnie asked as he looked around. "I don't know," she replied. "She's been compelled," I muttered. "But he wants to know if you'll save him a dance. How cute is that?" said/asked Dana. "So cute," I sarcastically replied. "I know, right? Well, anyway, I hope you do because he seems to like you a lot. He said he's been waiting for you for a thousand years" Dana walks away before we can ask her any more questions.

After school ended we headed straight to the Salvatore home. Damon, Stefan, Elena, Bonnie, and I were in the living room at the Salvatore house after a long day at school. "So we go to the dance and we find him," Damon offers a quick plan. "Really? How are we going to do that? We don't even know what he looks like," Stefan states and I nod. We don't know what he looks like. We don't even know if he even is here. For all we know he might just be playing a game of the cat and the mouse. "Something tells me he's not going to be sixteen and pimply," Damon replies.

"He could be anywhere at any time, he compelled somebody at school," Stefan looks at me before speaking once again. "I guess it's not as safe as you thought it was, huh?" Alaric walks in before I could answer. "There you are," Damon smiles when he sees his drinking buddy. "Sorry, I'm late," Alaric says with what seems like a little smirk. "I need you to put me down as a chaperone, Klaus made his first move," the eldest Salvatore says.

I look at Damon and Stefan, arms crossed and all. "Okay, so we find him, and then what?" I ask. "What is the plan of attack?" I add and Elena nods wanting to know the plan. "Me. I'm the plan. He has no idea how much power I can channel. If you can find him, I can kill him," Bonnie replies. "That's not going to be easy, I mean, he's the biggest, baddest vampire around," Alaric says. "Alaric has a point. I mean, what if he..." Damon begins to say before running towards Bonnie who throws him across the room without breaking a sweat. "Well, I'm impressed," Stefan says with a chuckle. "It doesn't matter if he's an Original. I can take down anyone that comes at me. I can kill him, Belle, I know I can," Bonnie assures me and I know she means it. I wasn't doubting her but I was doubting Klaus' ability to forgive if we failed.

The plan has been set. I just hope it works. I look through the 60's clothesbox at the Salvatore home. "Your relatives were such pack rats," I said to Stefan. "Ooh. You know it's not too late to back out, right?" he asked. "And what, miss out on all the fun?" I tease with a smile. "Hey," Stefan grabs my hand. "All this time spent worrying about Klaus. I think I convinced myself that he was not real, but he is," I look everywhere but at Stefan. "And tonight, we will put an end to him," Stefan replies but I don't feel as confident as he and the others. I grab his face and kiss him, wrapping my arms around his neck. "Thank you, Stefan," I say with a smile. Stefan and I were not officially together. We had hung out a couple of times and even made out but nothing too crazy. I guess if everything went right then perhaps soon there would be an us.

Elena, Bonnie, Jeremy, Stefan, Damon, and I walk inside the gym. "This is for Belle. From Klaus," Dana says as soon as I step into the gym. I stop as the song starts playing. "That was a lame, cheap shot. He's just trying to bait us," Damon says. "We know everyone here," I say as I look around hoping to see an unfamiliar face but I know everyone here. "Maybe he's not here and just wants us to believe he is" Steafn states and I agree. "It's a party, people. Blend, let him come to us," Damon says. "Good idea," Bonnie agrees as she grabs Jeremy's hand before making her way to the dance floor.

Stefan and I were dancing. "Caroline's here, they don't know what's going on, we have to tell her," he nods. "I'm on it," he says before making his way over to her. I was spun around landing in Damon's arms. We started dancing. "I forgot to tell you. You look, beautiful Belle. You remind me of Marilyn Monroe. You look like her, especially with that dress," he points out. "Thanks, Dames," I reply with a smile.

"How are you doing?" he asks. "Um, scared or freaked out? maybe both?" I offer not sure which one. "You?" I ask. "Cool as a cucumber," the blue-eyed vampire replies with a smile. He spins me around and throws me up before catching me.

"You're good at this," I compliment, "You are too. I didn't know you could dance like this," I add. "I've got moves you've never seen," he winks. As the night went on secrets were revealed. Stefan told me that if Bonnie used all of her magic, she could die. He confirmed my suspicions about her using all her magic. I told Elena what Stefan had told me. Elena and I walked outside to where bonnie was. "How could you not tell me, Bonnie?" I ask, sadness, anger, and disappointment laced in my voice.

"Cause I knew how'd you react," she replied. "No. No way, it's not an option," I told her. "It's our only option," Bonnie tried to defend her actions. "Then we'll find another way. You're not dying to save my life," I said, Elena nodded in agreement. "I have the power to save you, Belle. I'm trying to protect you, why can't you see it? If I don't use it and something happens to you or Elena, that would kill me more," Bonnie's eyes filled with tears. "We can't let you," my sister replied. "Just answer one question... if the situation was reversed, would you guys do it for me?" she asked. "I know for a fact the Elle would die for me so I would do die for her too," Bonnie said Elena and I stayed quiet knowing that we would. "So you know why I have to," she added. "No," was all I said.

Alaric comes running to us. "What is it?" I ask. "He has Jeremy," he replies frantically. "What?" Bonnie, Elena, and I ask at the same time. "Yeah, Klaus has Jeremy. Come on," says Alaric. We start following him through the empty hallway. "Okay, so where are you taking us?" my sister asked. "Just a little further," said Alaric. "Wait... something's not right. Where's Jeremy?" I ask. This seemed off. Alaric stops and starts laughing. "I just had to get away from that dance. The sixties, ugh. Not my decade. I mean, whose call was that anyway? I much prefer the twenties, the style, the parties, the jazz. You would have loved it, Belle," he looked at me and smiled.

"Ric, are you on vervain?" I asked worriedly. "Now, why would you ask me that question, my Belle?" he asked back. "He's being compelled," Elena states. "No, he's not. That's Klaus," I said in realization. "Smart," he points at me. "What is it?" Bonnie looks between me and Klaus. "It's Klaus," I whisper but she hears along with Elena whose eyes widen in surprise. "Surprise," Klaus says with his hands up. "Oh, no. No, it's not possible," Elena mutters. "Relax, Elena. I'm not here to hurt you or Belle. You guys are not on my hit list tonight" Klaus replied before turning to look at Bonnie. "But you are" he starts walking towards her, but she throws him against the wall with her magic. "Now, did I mention that I know a witch? You're gonna have to hit me a lot harder than that," Klaus taunts with a smile.

He rushes over to her, and she throws him against the display case. He falls to the floor and starts to laugh once again. "By all means...Fire away," he gets up. "If you kill this body, I'll just get a new one. Maybe Jeremy," Klaus said as he looked right at me. When he said that my blood started to boil and all I saw was red. I put my hand on the floor sliding it and ice came out going straight to Klaus who dodged it by moving to the side. He looked shocked. I don't think he knew about my powers. But I couldn't stop. I was mad. He threatened Jeremy.

"Go. Run. Run," Bonnie yelled. Elena starts to run, but I stand there, looking at everything unfold. I see Bonnie chanting a spell I thought was for Klaus until I began to feel tired and sleepy, before I could react everything went black. When I came to, I was back at the boarding house. "Where's Bonnie?" I ask as calmly as possible. I look at Damon who remains quiet. "What did you do to her?" I ask once again. "Will you please calm her down?" Damon says to Stefan. "Don't talk like I'm not standing in front of you," I reply. "Please calm down," I move away from him.

"You knew. Didn't you? You knew that if she harnessed all that power, that she would die, didn't you?" my sister asked. "Yes. Yes, I knew," Damon responds and she slaps him across the face. "Elena!" I yell at her. "You need to listen to me and prepare yourself for what I'm about to say. Bonnie had to die. Klaus using Alaric's body was a total surprise. She wasn't prepared for that. He wasn't going to stop, and we weren't going to be able to stop him until she was dead. He had to believe it, she cast a spell, Bonnie's okay," Damon finally says and I let out a breath that I had no idea I was holding.

I walk up the stairs and into Damon's room. "Ugh. Look. Klaus had to believe she was dead. Yours and your sisters' reaction had to be real," he explains. "I understand why you did what you did. Klaus was fooled, and Bonnie's alive," I say. "Here's to duplicity," Damon says before putting his glass of bourbon up and then drinking it. "I wanted to kill him, Damon. I never felt that kind of rage, but when he threatened Jeremy, all I saw was red, and I wanted him dead. I almost succeeded too," I say. Damon looked at me, kind of shocked since I am guessing he had no idea about that. "You're powerful, Belle, and you know this," he states.

I look at him for a moment, trying to find the right words. "Let's get one thing straight. Bonnie or Elena will not die for me. I will not let that happen," I state. "We need to kill Klaus, Belle. The real Klaus, who will probably be paying you a visit soon now that he knows that Bonnie is dead. She's the only one who can do it," I nod. "We'll find another way," I say. "I hope so," he replies. "Look, Elena shouldn't have hit you," he shrugs.

"Apology accepted, but Let me be clear about something, Belle. If it comes down to you, your sister, and the witch again, I will gladly let Bonnie and Elena die, I will always choose you," he was being honest. I said nothing, knowing that he was serious, I kissed him on the cheek. "Goodnight Damon," I made my way out the door. "Goodnight Belle," he replies.

I walked down to the basement. Elena confessed that she daggered Elijah while I was having some time off. I opened the door to the cellar on the floor was a dead Elijah. I removed the dagger from his body. I sat down next to him waiting for him to wake up. I had to take matters into my own hands now. I was left with no other choice.
