description. ━━ Margot is a tall woman, somewhere between 5'8" and 5'9", nobody can tell for sure since she doesn't stay in one place for too long. Maybe her ex-husband knew how tall she was, but he's long gone. Her hair isn't straight nor curly, it's always slightly wavy and neatly combed through as she likes to keep up appearances as best as possible. It's black and shiny in light, and if you look closely, you wouldn't see a single stray piece of hair. Her eyes are large and a deep brown color, not dark, just very brown. A lot of Margot's fashion consists of suits and expensive pants with equally expensive shirts, she knows each and every brand of clothing there is, and will only indulge in expenses. Her skin is clear and without blemishes, a sign that she takes good care of herself, but she has deep, healed scars on both of her wrists from some kind of ligature or ropes.

She has a ring with a small needle on it, mainly used to activate her blood manipulation abilities. She used to have a wedding ring but obviously she threw it away. Her superhero suit is nothing out of the ordinary, it's short sleeved for obvious reasons, but its thick on certain parts that contain important organs and arteries. The suit is white with deep maroon markings on the mask and on her shoulders.

power control. ━━ Margot's control over her ability was rocky as a young adult, she hated bleeding but after extensive use in her late twenties, she got the hang of it. Currently, her control over it is good, but she can always be better.
notable abilities. ━━ Margot activates her abilities by piercing her fingertips with her ring, to which she can then manipulate her own blood as long as there is a steady supply. Something that she still has to practice is hardening her blood, a lot like a scab, to make shields or to protect herself from hard blows. Margot frequently uses her ability to simply create a sharp point with her blood and use it as a weapon. She can also manipulate others' blood. She can also speed up the flow of blood or slow it down, she uses this to make herself appear younger than she is, although she still ages, it's just slower than others. Margot is able to circulate her blood to help heal her wounds, but afterwards, if she does this too much, she can go through withdrawal where her blood slows down, causing her body to become cold and weak. Something she's been practicing is causing someone to spontaneously combust, although she can only cause nosebleeds for now.

notable events. ━━ 1. Ability Discovery (age 14) Margot discovered her abilities as a young girl after a group of older kids bullied her and scraped her knees and hands. Much like her mutant brothers and sisters, her ability was activated through heightened stress and anxiety — the stress coming from being pushed around (physically) and ridiculed by the older kids. It happened so fast, all she remembers is feeling a power surge through her hands while watching tricklets of blood flow out of the soft flesh of her palms, swiping her hand to fend off one of the bullies and slicing his skin. The blood that came from his wound stayed still in the air, hovering above the other bullies' eyes as they stared in shock. They ran away and so did Margot. Her parents were sympathetic towards her, they understood what it was like to be shunned from society, with them being immigrants and all, and so they decided to help her conceal her abilities. No more rough housing, no sports, no arts and crafts, no running down the stairs, no sharp edges, nothing.
━━ 2. Puberty (age 14) Puberty sucked, to say the least. Thankfully, Margot could sense it coming for reasons that seem obvious. She was admittedly scared to grow up, she was going into High school soon, and there was talk of her being homeschooled. The stress of life got to her head, and she eventually locked herself in her room for days at a time.
━━ 3. Parent's divorce (age 17) Margot's parent's "divorce" was tough on her, she was blindsighted and rightfully assumed her parents would want to stay together. In certain ways, she thought it was because of her, of what she was. They didn't legally divorce, they just separated due to an increase of domestic issues at home, but it stuck with Margot.
━━ 4. Meeting Romero Blackwood (age 19) Margot meets Romero young, but what they had was very real and very passionate. She was never one for fairy tales, but it was different with Romero, he was loyal and good. For most of her adolescence, she stayed away from humans, from everyone, her parents drifted apart, she secluded herself from society, and Romero helped pull her out from her hole and welcomed her back to the world. They didn't hesitate to move in together, after only 6 months of dating, but she never told him about her . . . mutation.
━━ 5. Marrying Romero (age 21) Romero initially proposed a year after they started dating, but they never got around to finalizing their marriage until Margot was 21. It was small, and Margot made a point to not inform her parents.
━━ 6. Joining the X-men (age 31) Margot had landed a good job, with the 60s, women were getting introduced to the workplace, so she was happy to contribute. At the time, she tried working her way up the corporate ladder, with much success and started running her own business. At this time, she was approached in her office by Charles and Erik. She was admittedly hostile towards them, upset at how quickly they discovered her mutation, but once she was left alone to think about their deal, she remembered how she'd always wanted to change society. An activist wanting to make a change. She agreed and tried to make friendly with the others, which she succeeded in, but she overall disliked Charles. The last fight, in which Erik invited the other mutants to join him, she felt torn. She wanted more than anything to join The Brotherhood, but turned Magneto down to go back home and live peacefully with her husband.
━━ 7. Romero's betrayal & death (age 31) Margot came home to her husband not long after the fight with Shaw, there was a great deal of regret and shame that ran through her for not staying with her kind, but she felt that she belonged with her love. Unfortunately when she came home, there were more people than just her husband waiting for her. Romero called a government friend, who specialized in Mutant control, and attempted to have Margot contained. They nearly succeeded, until Erik showed up to help.
━━ 8. Joining Magneto (age 31) Erik came and helped Margot escape from the Government's control, of course she fought back as best she could, but it nearly wasn't enough. Magneto offered her the same place he offered her before, with the chance to kill her husband herself, and she happily took it. The first time she ever successfully spontaneously combusted a human before was her husband.
traumatic events. ━━ Finding out her powers stuck with Margot for awhile, she had always thought she was normal, so it was a big disappointment for her.
━━ Accidentally using her powers in school, Margot was reprimanded intensely at home afterwards. She remembers making a bully's nose bleed that was terrorizing one of her friends, and in a panic, she runs away and eventually tells her parents. Her dad hit her and her mother yelled at her for endangering them all.
━━ Romero always wanted a family, he wanted kids with Margot, wanted to be a father. Margot never wanted to have kids, she knew they'd be mutants, and she only ever wanted a normal life, so it felt unfair to her future kids to put them through the same thing she did. She never really thought about being pregnant until it happened to her, she wound up pregnant and never told her husband. Margot miscarried, and maybe it God's cruel punishment or mistake, but she realized she could never curse her children with powers like hers. She has since taken drastic measures to ensure that she could never get pregnant again, by means of her own powers, and altered her blood flow to cause infertility issues.
━━ Romero's betrayal was extremely traumatic to Margot, killing him even more so. The blood got on her face, on her hands, and even with Erik by her side reassuring her that everything will be okay, she couldn't help but scream in a mixture of rage and sadness. The scars on her wrists from being bound still remind her of that day.
important memories. ━━ Margot likes to remember how her mother would make her warm soup for her every time she was sick, or how her father would try and cheer her up when she was sad or scared. Of course, most of this happened before she discovered she was a mutant.
━━ Meeting friends to hang out with during school, before she was mutant of course, and joking and laughing. She misses it more than anything since after becoming a mutant, she was immediately pulled from school.
━━ Moments with Romero, waking up next to the love of her life, getting to see him every day. She could never trust or love someone like that again.
