are mythical birds that possess only one eye and one
wing. these creatures are born imperfect, and they
need to lean against each other and act as one in order
to be able to fly. their mutual dependence is eternal,
lasting through death and rebirth.

THE JIAN is a futuristic, dystopian mecha roleplay that takes place in Japan in the early 4050s. the world has essentially evolved into chaos and humans, despite the glorious cities built, are struggling to fight back against the ever-evolving animals of the planet. the government then decided to fund a project called Project JIAN, and after many years of experimenting and developing, it is revealed that the government would be recruiting young adults of the task of protecting various cities using large human-operated battle robots called JIANS.

OO1﹕KINDNESS. all roleplayers are expected to treat each other with basic human decency and respect no matter what. please be polite to your fellow roleplayers and please try to avoid any ooc arguments. just remember to have fun and only uplift each other! no bringing other people down!

OO2﹕GRAPHICS. inspiration for this layout & graphics come from a variety of different platforms such as tumbler, pinterest and wattpad. all of my graphics are made by me, and if anything remotely looks similar to somethings of yours, i'll happily remove it. on the flip side, absolutely do not steal any of my graphics without permission.

OO3﹕FACECLAIMS. this roleplay takes place in Sendai, Japan in a futuristic dystopian setting, so i've decided to put an emphasis on allowing anime/animated faceclaims for this roleplay. irl/real faceclaims are still allowed, but i highly encourage you to find an animated equivalent! additionally, majority of characters are expected to be of asian descent.

OO4﹕FORMS. all forms will be due two weeks after a roleplayer has reserved a role by commenting a header on the forms chapter. after two weeks (with no communication), i'll be reopening said slot for other roleplayers to reserve.

OO5﹕REQUIREMENTS. some nonnegotiable requirements to join/apply are that i require a certain amount of descriptiveness, that being at LEAST one paragraph worth of roleplaying. additionally, please do not make a mary/gary sues (old terms i haven't heard in a while but whatever) or any unreasonable or inappropriate characters.
