━━━━━ All slots are first come, first serve. There are 14 roles and everybody is allowed two characters, one male and one female. No exceptions!

━━━━━ All characters are 22-25 years old, currently everybody is a rookie and partners will be determined once everybody is done with their forms. I will be pairing everybody up, but if you really think your character is compatible to pilot with another, message me and I'll consider it and/or keep it in mind.

━━━━━ Faceclaims are primarily animated characters, irl/real actors/people are allowed as an extra, but prioritize finding an animated faceclaim. Additionally, majority of these characters are from Sendai, Japan or live in the city, please keep this in mind!

━━━━━ Team Leader and Lieutenant will be chosen in the first chapter after every member meets each other. Also also! Partners can change over time, so if two partners aren't as compatible as initially theorized, then switches can be made.

━━━━━ Forms will be due two weeks after you reserve a role, and to reserve a role, just comment a header including your OC's name and slot. Additionally, if you need an extension just shoot me a message or @ me and I'll gladly give you an extension.

▎. . . 𝓖.ENESIS ━━━ ❪ TAKEN BY ME ❫
Genesis has extensive military experience, specifically as a field medic. Due to an accident on duty, he has a mechanical hand, but he doesn't let that stop him and gets kind of snappy with people that ask about it. He's been chasing his dream of becoming a JIAN pilot ever since his dad was diagnosed with a terminal illness when he was in his pre—teens. If he became a Pilot, he'd be able to easily pay for his father's medical bills and a better prosthetic hand. Sometimes he struggles with team—work because he constantly thinks about his parents and how he has to succeed, but his childhood best friend, Deja Vu, keeps him focused and sometimes he wonders if he has feelings for her (it's a complicated line to cross). Genesis was previously a Psychology major.

Paranoia comes from a poor family, so he knows better than anyone that everything is rewarded to you through perseverance and hard work. Because Paranoia succeeded in school, he had the opportunity to go to University through a full—ride scholarship for his major, Chemistry. He feels like a bit of an outsider amongst the other Pilots, being one of the few members that come from a low—class family. At times, he comes off as insecure, which is something he has to work on in order to successfully pilot a JIAN. He generally gets along with the girls more since the boys are a tad bit judgmental and meaner towards him.

Venom is openly distrusting of his teammates. He's had a rough life — suffered from neglect due to having a large family, constant competition with his siblings and other students, and to top it all off, his girlfriend of four years cheated on him while he was away at the Student Piloting program. While his communication and social skills aren't the best, he graduated the program due to his intelligence and combative nature. Often, Venom seems a bit arrogant and overly snooty and the other team members think he's a know—it—all. He just has to warm up to people is all. And he's willing to change, but for now he's a tad bit closed off. Venom was previously a Computer Science major.

Oblivion wanted to be a detective and previously majored in Criminal Justice while minoring in Social Psychology. He has an intense passion for fighting and battle tactics but can come off as irrational or impulsive. When he was scouted, he was hesitant to join since it wasn't his original dream job. Buuut, after completely acing the program, he found his new passion—helping helpless civilians and defending his city from danger (which, in all honesty, was not that far off from his original dream). He has a younger sister that he takes care of since his mother passed away and his dad isnt around very often. He absolutely adores her, so he wants to succeed in being a Pilot to help pay for her education.

With a great appreciation for the natural Earth, Dune was a very passionate Biology major that is a stubborn environmentalist and activist. He's a large man with a big heart, a gentle giant. He believes if he becomes a Pilot then he'll have the authority and power to positively impact the environment by using his political and economic power. Dune is also just a protective person, wanting nothing more than for his city to stay safe under his protection. He's an only child, but was raised by a single mother who he'd die for a million times. Dune is generally very easy to work with and is extremely laid back, always prioritizing the comfortability of his teammates over his own.

Killshot chases fame. She's generally very vain and self—centered, and she knows how to manipulate people to get what she wants. Not saying she's a horrible person, but she's psychologically and emotionally smart, with previously being a Social Psychology Major, that has given her enough information to do as she pleases. Being a JIAN pilot would be perfect — fame, money, a life—long job, it's all she ever wanted. She knows how to play into stereotypes and acts coy when confronted. Everybody and I mean everybody likes her. On the surface, she would seem like the perfect teammate — smart, pretty, talented fighter, but don't let that fool you.

Knives Out is an ace. She's good at everything and she's the youngest in the group. Overall, Knives Out has a keen interest in sword and blade combat along with robotics. She's generally gullible and naive but extremely emotionally intelligent, and she adores machinery. Her mother was a mechanic, teaching her everything she needed to know about it. She majored in Engineering and excelled in STEM courses. Genesis has a general disliking of her since she likes to examine and critique his mechanical hand. Frankenstein also avoids her at all costs. She, too, wants to enhance her body using technology.

Deja Vu is a fighter. She knows a lot about boxing and general bodily anatomy. As a child, she was an gymnast but grew out of it as she got older, turning towards boxing. Her parents are from a more rural part of Japan, but moved to the city when she was a pre—teen. It was during this time she met Genesis and the two became very close friends. They grew out of touch during their later teenage years but reconnected during the Student Pilot Program — similar faces are always a comfort. Deja Vu is generally strict on herself and on her teammates, she's fairly protective of herself and has trouble trusting men, Genesis being the exception. Deja Vu was a Kinesiology major.

Frankenstein had a rough start to life. To put it simply, she was a sick baby—a sick child. Her body's nervous system was rapidly deteriorating and to combat it—thanks to her mother's position as an assistant to a Government official—her body was replaced by various cyborg organs and skin tissue. Most of her body's left side is technology. Despite this, Frankenstein never lets it bring her down or let it define her—despite her inhuman body, she's extremely intelligent and very capable of fighting. Still, Frankenstein struggles with her identity and feels insecure about her appearance despite her teammates' support and guidance. She was previously an Aerospace Engineering major.

The Contortionist is, at her core, a pushover. She's the quietest out of the entire group and is a, generally, submissive personality type. But. She's a very talented fighter and often times, everybody she spars with is put on their ass. The Contortionist was a Med School Student, a thriving Nursing major. Most of her combat experience came from her father, who specialized in martial arts and boxing and was passionately insistent that she learn how to protect herself. She has three older brothers that are extremely protective of their little sister, but even then, she can handle her own. A total sweetheart that can kick your ass.
