"All I'm saying is, you could do a lot better. Like a lot," Aurora tried to tell her doctor. "I mean have you seen some of the people who work here?"

Doctor Callie Torres, one of the Orthopaedic Residents, only chuckled as she looked over Aurora's broken wrist.

"Look at me, Callie. Look at me," the young girl grabbed the doctor's hand, catching a few of the yellow beads around the resident's wrist. "Have you seen this place's new Plastic Surgeon?"

The dark haired woman looked at the girl before smirking, "No? Have you?"

"Only in passing glances, but..." she trailed off before starting to blush. "I believe you two would have the most beautiful babies."

"Okay," Callie quickly pulled away, disappointed, as the tween laughed.

Doctor Callie Torres had been part of Aurora's life for a few years at that point. When she was in her intern year Aurora was part of her rotation. Helping handle the difficult Doe. And with Aurora's many problems the two got more acquainted during her residency. Which was obvious due to the many bracelets the resident wore.

The reason for the yellow beads around Torres' wrist? Single. Aurora liked to believe yellow represented the sun, a lonely star. And Aurora, the Sunrise, wanted to help find their perfect constellation.

Since everyone in the hospital seemed to be obsessed with the concept of being loved, Aurora decided Callie needed to get out there as well. After all, if only one of them was to live they should have the chance to enjoy it with someone else.

"Your wrist is still very fragile. So take it easy and maybe lay off the bead making for a bit."

She let out a small gasp, "But-"

"Ah! No. You aren't going to whine. You hurt yourself and need to heal," she informed the tween.

She blew a raspberry, "Oh come on. What am I supposed to do now? It's so boring in here," she dramatically groaned.

Callie only shrugged as she grabbed her supplies, "Well try something that doesn't require both hands. Like colouring."

Aurora turned her nose up, "You know I hate colouring, Doctor Torres."

"And you know that's not my problem, Doe," she smirked.

The girl gawked as her doctor started to leave the room, "Are you just gonna leave me now? After ranting to me for twenty minutes?"

The doctor gave a small shrug, "I'm sorry Doe, but I have other patients to get to."

"But I'm your only important one," she said rather confidently.

Callie just laughed as she walked out of the young girl's room/bracelet workshop, though a bit of karma did bite the resident in the ass as her situationship was waiting for her at the door.

Aurora held in a gasp as George O'Malley tried to obtain the woman's attention, "Callie!"

Callie just stepped to the side and did her best to ignore him. Though the intern wouldn't go without a fight as he begged for forgiveness, "Come on, Wait. Before you start yelling... you were right. I should have told you about how I felt about you moving in. Not that you were moving in. It's just.. I'm not good at the whole talking about feelings thing."

The woman held her ground as she stood tall. Not blinking as she stared the Plain-Jon looking intern down, "I bet you told Meredith how you felt though, didn't you? And Izzie? You don't seem to have any trouble talking to them George, but me?"

Even from the far distance Aurora was away from the pair, she couldn't help but silently cheer Callie on. Snapping her fingers as she drank her morning juice.

Though sadly the fight would be put on hold as George's resident Doctor Bailey stomped around the corner with her interns/ducklings waddling behind her, "Let's go people. I've been in surgery since two AM. I'm in no mood."

Meredith quickly motioned her friend to follow as she stumbled along with the others, seemingly a little off, "George..." her voice was so faint that the tween struggled to even hear it.

Someone must be hungover, Aurora thought to herself as George whispered three words to Callie before leaving, "I miss you..."

With the doctor's orders Aurora's crafting supplies were taken away by her nurses. Of course, as she had personally bought them, the staff legally couldn't hide them, so they just placed them on a high shelf on the other end of her room. The place her television was supposed to go.

Still the Doe girl was rather stubborn. She hated colouring and was so close to throwing a fit over it. It was boring. Lame. Plus they were out of princess colouring books and she was stuck with flowers.

If it were superhero's or Disney she would have sucked it up, but no. Goddamn flowers for the garden.

Sadly, Aurora knew she had to keep her mouth shut. If she ever wanted to get her television privileges back she had to act good. No matter how hard it was. So instead of actually colouring, Aurora Doe sat still. Glaring at the blank book of black lines as she waited for her next checkup with the nurses or interns.

Thankfully after an hour or so of nothingness, she smiled as the unforgettable voice of Miranda Bailey came onto the floor, "You alright Dr. Grey?"

"Yeah, Dr. Bailey, I just... oh," Aroura leaned over to see the drama unfold. Noticing just how pale, even for Meridith, Meridith was. "Need to make a choice is all..."

The child cringed as she watched Grey clutch her stomach as if it were about to explode. Leaning over in attempt to ease the pain.

Then to make matters worse, one of her two boyfriends sauntered over with a pep in his step, "Dr. Grey, I am clipping a basilar tip aneurism. Any interest-" though Derek Shepherd quickly froze as his wife Doctor Addison Shepherd walked onto the floor.

His wife stepped past him and went to the resident doing paperwork, "Dr. Bailey can I get..." she suddenly trailed off. "Oh my God."

The others in the hall all looked over at what was so appealing. Seeing Mark Sloan shaking hands with the Chief.

"Oh... my... God," Derek huffed.

Meredith on the other hand looked like she was going to puke, "Oh my God..."

"Is that-"

"McSteamy," Christina smirked at the sight of the handsome man, though her lustrous-heart-eyes would turn to complete concern as her friend Meredith suddenly started to release all of her insides onto the sterile floor.

Surprisingly Doctor Bailey was the one to run to the poor intern's side, "Grey?"

Aurora felt herself stand, seeing just how sick one of her doctors appeared before something unexpected happened. The entire floor had no time to react as George let out a terrified scream, "No Mr. Sullivan, don't light that!"

Not that it mattered as a sudden bright light filled the room next to Aurora's. As the explosion shook the floor, the girl found herself stumbling back.

The blonde in her pink pajamas was no match for the rumbling. Her fuzzy slippers didn't seem to be enough to keep her standing as Aurora fell forward. With her delicate skin getting caught on a part of her hospital bed on the way down.

She let out a scream as she then hit the floor. Landing on her cast on the way down, "Ow! Son of a bitch!"

The girl stayed still for a moment as the tears started to rapidly fall. The aching mixed with fear as she tried to rub the pain away from her face. Having to pull her uninjured hand away as the wound was rather tender and... when the twelve-year-old looked down at her fingers she was met with a sight no person should ever see.

A hand now covered in fresh blood.

Just great.

The repeated clicking of heels inside the Doe room drove Aurora insane. The stupid red bottoms hitting the floor. Heel, toe. Heel, toe. Heel, toe. Over and over and over again.

If she wasn't currently being treated by Doctor Karev, she probably would have tried to run away from the monster walking back and forth inside her room.

"No. No, I'm serious, Gordon. Serious!" Judith Larson grumbled into her cellphone. "She's lucky to still have an eye!"

Aurora found herself groaning as Alex Karev gave a glance at the well dressed woman in business attire. Watching as she rambled on. Complaining to her assistant.

"I thought you didn't have any family," Alex muttered to her. "That being the whole... support system punishment I'm stuck under."

Aurora huffed, "God no. That's Judith Larson. She's just my lawyer."

She could see the smoke coming out her doctor's ears as he tried to figure out why he knew that name. Watching as his lips muttered the words, "Larson..." as if to say it would help put the puzzle together.

So to save him time she just explained, "She's the lawyer with all those billboards and stuff."

Alex gave the child a strange look, "And she's your-"

"Case worker? No. My case worker doesn't know up from down," Aurora cut him off. "Judith Larson is one of the hospital's head lawyers, but she's also mine."

"You need a lawyer?" The intern looked at her weirdly.

"They're required to work a few Pro Bono jobs a year, and a terminally ill orphan is great publicity," Aurora explained. "She's why I'm here and not in a group home. Fought the judges saying it was unjust to have me anywhere else before I got a new heart."

Judith Larson had been working at the hospital for almost three years at that point. Very snooty. Very boozy. And very good at her job.

The brunette with perfect curls was originally a case worker for the social services, but after passing the bar exam she became the professional all people throughout Seattle knew and loved/hated.

Having an almost perfect case record, though her Dior suit and red bottoms were enough of a giveaway of her success.

"So she's the reason I'm stuck looking after you?" He hummed, Aurora noticing he wasn't joking from his tone.

"She's also the reason your ex-girlfriend isn't in prison," she shot back with a smirk, not taking his annoyance of her existence to heart. "Let's just hope I don't have to get an LVAD. I bet you'd probably have her cut that too."

He rolled his eyes, "If Larson's as good of a lawyer as you say, she can represent me when I do."

As the tween went to shoot another comment back, Judith finally got off her phone, snapping it shut, "Who the hell lights a cigarette inside a hospital, I'll never know."

The patient shrugged, "So what's happening?"

"What's happening is that I'm fucking amazing," Judith crossed her arms. "That little stunt not only is gonna get me a new car thanks to legal fees, but I also got your television privileges back. As well as a few other things."

The blonde revealed a new smirk before watching her lawyer pull out her compact mirror and some lip gloss, "And good news, I'm getting the head of Plastics to take a look at your gash."

Aurora and Alex looked at the woman strangely, "The head of Plastics? Ma'am, I can handle stitching her up-"

"Call me Ma'am again and I'll sue you into oblivion, Intern," she casually exclaimed, still fixing up her makeup. "This isn't for her."

Alex looked rather offended as Aurora only sighed, knowing exactly what she was doing, "You know the head of Plastics is after someone else, right?"

"And that woman he's after currently has her hands full," Judith smirked. "That OB's husband knocked up his sanky intern. Meaning I now have a chance with McSteamy. So I'm gonna take it."

"You what, I respect that," Alex nodded, while the younger girl gasped for another reason. "Doctor Grey is pregnant?!"

While the girl's jaw fell to the floor, her Doctor couldn't help but chuckle, "Oh how the mighty have fallen."

Judith just nodded as she continued to fix herself up, "She's just been admitted. Doctor Shepherd even postponed a few elective surgeries to be by her side."

Aurora's expression stayed shocked as all the information ran through her mind. Meredith Grey was pregnant, but who was the father? McDreamy or McVet? Part of her prayed it was Doctor Shepard instead of the vet. The money alone of a brain surgeon was ten times that of a simple vet.

Not that she'd have much longer to think about it as a new person entered the room, "So this is the VIP patient I've been told about?" A rather confident voice said.

As he entered the room, Judith wasted no time introducing herself to the Plastic Surgeon, giving the tween the chance to look him over. Doctor Mark Sloan.

A rather good looking man in his late thirties-early forties. Having a rather well groomed beard and moustache. Clean pressed white lab coat and charming smile; and as he sauntered towards the sick girl, she could understand why they called him McSteamy.

"It's nice to meet you, Your Grace," Doctor Sloan pulled over a chair.

All thoughts of a knocked up Meredith shrivelled away as the girl stared at the new doctor, "Um... hello."

He brought his doctor's stool closer as he practically pushed Karev to the side, "Alright, intern. Do your job," he grabbed a pair of gloves, barely giving Alex any attention.

Alex, who knew this was a chance to get into the plastic department's good graces, quickly stood at attention and grabbed Aurora's chart, "Aurora Doe, twelve-years-old with a broken wrist and Cardiomyopathy. Is currently on the transplant list but today took a tumble into her bed after a small explosion in the room next to her's. Cutting herself on a metal bit."

Mark just nodded as he gently looked over her massive gash. Starting under the eyebrow and going up to her forehead in a horizontal direction.

The girl let out a small hiss as he looked over the injury, "I'm sorry sweetheart, this is a pretty bad cut."

Judith moved a little closer, "Is it going to need stitches?"

Doctor Sloan sighed as he moved his hands away, "I believe so."

Before the words could even fully leave Mark's mouth, Doctor Karev tried to volunteer. Slamming Aurora's file shut with a smile, "Sir, if you'd like, I would gladly do that for you."

"Thanks but no thanks. I was informed Princess Aurora here is very important. It is her face after all," he flashed a smile. "And I don't think she wants an intern to possibly damage her. Right, Your Grace?"

Aurora was almost at a loss for words. Looking between the two men. Seeing his Karev was giving her pleading eyes, while Sloan was smiling like a proper Prince Charming.

So, seeing this as a way to continue to mess with Alex in their never ending battle, she smirked and turned back to Mark Sloan, "You are absolutely right, Doctor," she nodded.

He hummed as Judith sighed, "Dammit. Now I've got to make a few calls... will you be okay handling this without me?" She asked Mark more than Aurora.

Mark nodded, "I can have an intern send you the paperwork."

"Perfect," she already had her phone to her ear. "Thanks. That's just perfect," the overwork lawyer shouted as she was literally called away.

"Alright, let's get you-"

"Doctor Sloan?" Alex cut Mark off, "I'm actually a really big fan, and I'm planning on specializing in plastics."

"Oh, are you?" He said, rather patronizingly.

Not that Alex noticed, most likely too caught up in his own ego as he flashed a smile, "So even just being in the same room as you as you help my favourite patient is enough. You are the best after all."

Aurora had to hold back an eye roll as she couldn't blame him. This was Doctor Karev's future career after all.

"Favourite patient? Well isn't that sweet," Mark's smile then twisted. Snapping his fingers suddenly, "Sweet. Sweet, that's right. Princess Aurora, have you bled a lot after the injury?"

She shrugged, "I guess so?"

"So your sugar must be down... that's not acceptable, is it?" He took his gloves off and pulled out his wallet, "Alright Intern, big boy job for you."

Alex moved closer as Mark took out a twenty, "Run down to the Sunset Bakery, not the Starbucks next to it in the lobby, the Sunset Bakery, and grab two hot chocolates with extra marshmallows," the intern went slack jawed as the money was planted in his hand. "She is your favourite patient after all. Don't want her to pass out now, do we?"

Karev stayed silent for a moment before muttering out, "Anything else, Doctor?"

Mark hummed, "You know what? I'm having a day and so is her majesty. So grab us each some... have you ever had coffee cake, Princess Aurora?"

"No, Sir."

"Oh, you'll love it! Hot chocolate and coffee cake! Get us that!"

Both Alex and Aurora were at a loss of words for very different reasons. While he was in shock that a teacher would treat him like that, she was in awe. Finally. Finally someone who matched her energy.

Oh she was going to enjoy this.

As Alex silently left the room, Mark put on a fresh pair of gloves, "So... I hear you're quite the gossiper around here."

Aurora let out a small chuckle as he prepared to stitch her face, "I prefer the term invested in my doctors lives."

"Oh do you?"

"Sir, this place is insane. So many people are with different people and it's insane. There was once a bomb here!" She exclaimed.

He only chuckled, "Well, how much do you know of Doctor Addison Shepherd?"

She smirked, "Is that why you're trying to bribe me with sweets?"

He shrugged, "Is that a problem, Your Grace?"

"No I respect it," Aurora hummed. "I may know a few things about your OB."

"And are you willing to share them?"

She looked between him and the needle about to freeze her face, "Are you trying to get me to speak before you stab me?"

"Yes."

"I'm liking you more and more by the second, Doctor Sloan."

"Thank you, I like me too."

She hummed once more before seeing how she could use this very desperate man to her advantage, "I can tell you a few things... for a price that is."

He brought the needle towards her face, "I'm listening..." and listen he did.

Inside Doctor Grey's hospital room, the woman simply smiled as both of her potential suitors stood on either end of her bed. Of course the heavy amounts of morphine flowing through her system had definitely something to do with it.

"So..." her second boyfriend, the vet Finn trailed off.

"So," Derek, the very jealous doctor, cut him off. "How's life in the animal kingdom?"

"What about you Derek? Slow day?" Finn shot back as Derek's pager then went off, "If you need to take off it's-"

"No," Derek ignored the page. "I can stay."

"Great."

"Great!" Meredith giggled.

"Great."

And then, as if things couldn't get more awkward or exciting, depending on who you asked, George O'Malley walked into the hospital room, "Okay let's get you prepped and ready for surgery-" he froze. "Oh. Dr. Sheppherd. Dr. Finn."

While both men blankly stared at him, Meredith cheered, "Now all my boys are here. So handsome. And such good kissers."

"Oh God..." Geogre's eyes widen.

Finn's did as well, displaying a very different emotion than the intern, "Excuse me?"

"She's on drugs."

"He's an excellent kisser," Meredith told Finn.

"You two dated?"

Derek patronizingly tilted his head, "You didn't know?"

She shrugged, "It wasn't a date so much as a...disastrously uncomfortable sexual experience."

George cringed and wished this wasn't happening, "Oh.. I can't.. be here-"

"Congratulations!" The many men inside Meredith's room were suddenly met by a pair appearing at the door.

Aurora Doe and Mark Sloan cheerfully displayed a large banner reading, "Yay Baby!" In bright bold colours. No one could actually tell who was more excited, Aurora, Mark who was pushing her in her wheelchair, or Meredith.

"Oh my God! It's annoying girl and McSteamy!" Meredith gasped.

The men stared at the two excited individuals as Derek's eye twitched, "What the hell are you doing in here?"

Mark gasped, acting offended, "I'm just taking my very sick patient to get some air and visit her favourite intern."

She smiled as she looked at the three of Meredith's past and present lovers, "Congratulations guys. I can't wait to figure out who the father is!"

"She's not pregnant."

"She's not pregnant?"

"She's not pregnant."

"She's not pregnant. Why isn't she pregnant?" Aurora looked up at Mark before back to Meredith, "Doctor Grey, they're all saying you're pregnant?!"

The woman smiled from her bed, "No, I'm not pregnant, but they are taking my appendix out. So technically I am giving birth..." she giggled.

The pair at the door looked confused before Mark smacked his lips apart, "Morphine?"

"Hell yeah!" She fist pumped the air.

Aurora's smile faded as she lowered the banner she spent an hour making, "Are you serious? I broke my sacred no colouring rule, only to find out you're not pregnant."

"I'm sorry, Rory," Meredith apologized.

The new stitches on the Doe girl's face twitched as she grumbled. Leaning over and yanking a pen from George's pocket. Muttering a few words before fixing the sigh to say, "Yay NO Baby!"

"There. Happy?"

She clapped, "I love it!"

Sadly the chaos wouldn't last for much longer as a very strict resident entered the room, "None of you can be here, this woman's being prepped for surgery. Which means all of you need to leave. Now!"

George tried to step away, "Gladly." But was stopped by Doctor Bailey, "Not you O'Malley!"

Meredith continued to giggle as she took the sign from Mark before he started to push her out of the room, "Dr. Bailey, look! Yay no baby!"

"Yay no baby, indeed."

As the men continued to try and win the intern's favour over, Mark and Aurora started to laugh, "Is that a normal thing for this fine hospital?" Doctor Sloan chuckled.

"Oh, Sir... you have no idea."

"I think I'm gonna like it here."

She smiled as he started to push her back to her room, "Sweet."
