The hazelnut haired beauty cringed at the oppressive sound her 3-inch High heels made as they echoed across the dimly lit stone alley that led to her street. The small breeze that ran its fingers through her hair, seemed much more menacing then relaxing at the moment. She tugged uselessly at the bottom of her dress, wishing her sister had given her a longer dress to borrow. And she had to stop herself from rubbing at the itchy makeup she had on. Overall, she couldn't wait to be home. Especially since Allison didn't want to go with her sister to the "El Loco!", one of the most crowded clubs in Norwood. The reason her sister insisted as hard as she did was still among the unknown. But one thing was for certain to the young girl, meeting the new group of friends at the club was the only worthwhile event during this stressful night.

Her silent musing was interrupted by a crashing sound behind her. She whirled around, expecting some creep with a knife, or a bloodthirsty clown.

Instead all she saw was-

Allison was ready for her relaxing and fun evening. She had her favorite movie (Pet Sematary of course) in the DVD player and she had a variety of snacks ready on the coffee table, buttery popcorn, chocolate chip cookies, bowls of M&M's and Raisinets, and best of all multiple Air Head's. She even had on gray baggy sweatshirts and pants, her hair let down, and blankets ready to grab at a moment's notice.

She smiled, all she needed now was to sit down and enjoy. And she was about to do so when, surprise surprise, her sister came barging in. Her dark brown hair flying out behind her and her bright sparkling silver skin-tight dress blinding anyone who looked at it. She had on a wide smile rimmed with blood red lipstick, her eyes were framed with glittery silver eye-shadow and her cheeks dusted with sparkles. She looked like she had a bucket of glitter poured over her, she even had some in her hair!

"Come with me to the new club that opened up!! It will be fun!" Crystal skipped to the sofa and sat on the arm. Allison huffed, no matter how many times she said no to her sister and refused to go to any club with her, the two year older girl always tried to convince the homebody otherwise. Every. Single. Time. It drove Allison crazy! Especially since her sister always had some secret motive to inviting her, she had to have one since she always preferred to do something quiet when she wanted to spend time with Allison.

Allison didn't even bother with responding verbally, usually all she needed to do was give her sister a look and she would leave her alone. But she must have given a different look, or her sister somehow missed it because Crystal simply smiled bigger trying to give her puppy eyes. "No Crystal, as you can see, I'm busy."

The party girl pouted, but didn't give up. "Come on Alli! It will be fun, and you need to get out of the house." Her efforts are met with silence as Allison sat on the couch, making her choice clear as she grabbed the remote. Crystal sighed, and got up, leaving Allison to smirk triumphantly and start her movie.

Suddenly all Allison could see was flashes of gray and brown."Gah! Crystal! What the heck?!?"

Crystal lay strewn across her lap, the crazed twenty-three year old had jumped over the back of the couch. She wore a wide smile, a mischievous glint in her eye. "I'm not moving until you say yes." She said with an air of finality, crossing her arms and giving Allison a smug smile.

The younger girl of the two could only glare at her sister, knowing full well where this would lead. "No. I'm not going! That isn't going to work this time Crystal!"

"We'll see about that." Smugness smothering the reply.

A low growl erupted from Allison, determination pooled in her being, she would prove her sister wrong. Grabbing the remote and pressing play.

The movie went on, and Alisson tried desperately to ignore the big sparkly lumb that seemed to get heavier with each passing minute. But with each agonizing second, her patience grew thinner, the sound of her sister talking throughout the movie, and the weight of her squirming and consistently moving was starting to hurt.

It built up, and her eye started to twitch, she started to breathe heavier, until she couldn't keep calm anymore. Her anger burst, not unlike the fiery lava erupting from a volcano.

"FINE!!! JUST GET OFF OF ME!!" Allison finally shouted, her nonexistent patience finally snapping. The reaction was immediate, wasting no time Crystal sprang up and dragged the twenty-one year old into her monstrous sized walk in closet.

Dresses of all kinds were hung inside the closet, mixed in with the thousands of other clothes. "How do you find anything in here Crystal? It's a mess!"

Said girl simply rolled her eyes, "It's not that big of a mess! Now shush, I'm trying to pick you a dress!"

"Can it not be over the top?"

"No promises!" Her sister sing-songed, humming softly to herself. Allison observed as the young adult browsed the options.

"This one? No, to old fashion. Oh, this one? No...no to that one...no....nu-uh...nope..hmmm maybe? No." Soon a pile of dresses accumulated on her sister's king sized bed, so many lay on top the cotton sheets you couldn't see the red comforter.

Allison picked up a simple black dress, it seemed to be long enough for her to be comfortable and it wasn't flashy. "What about this one?" She silently prayed to the gods above her sister said fine, she really wasn't liking the dresses her sister were currently looking at, and something told her one of those were about to be the designated dress for her.

"That one? Gods no! It clashes with your eyes, not to mention it really doesn't do anything for your figure. And it's way too dark, you need something way lighter!"

Well, she thought it would have been a long shot. Wait a minute..."What's THAT supposed to mean? What's wrong with my figure?"

"Nothing! It's just that each dress works best for different figures, and that one doesn't match yours!" Her sister made no sense sometimes.... Was that even an actual thing or just something Crystal made up?

"Can you just pick one already? The sooner we get there, the sooner I get back to my movie."

"I can't just pick a random one Al! It needs to fit your -"

Figure and blah blah blah. I get it..." She huffed and flopped onto the only clear section of the bed, watching with lavender eyes as her sister threw more and more dresses.

"You'll be singing a different tune once you see yourself in a mirror! Once I'm done with you, you will be stunning!" Allusion thought she looked fine as is, but she also didn't really care about her appearance.

"I highly doubt that."

After what felt like forever Crystal finally found a dress, a purple skin-tight dress that matched Crystal's own in sparkles. It looked way too short, not to mention blinding. "No way."

"Come on Al! It's perfect, and it brings out the purple in your eyes!"

"It's way too short!" She stood up and grabbed the dress from her sister's hands.

"So? It's not that short, and you said yourself you wanted to get this over with!" Crystal had a point, unfortunately, she really didn't feel like being out all night, nor did she want to spend forever waiting on her sister.

She sighed, "Fine, but only for a few hours."

Her sister nodded eagerly, squealing. "Yes!! Ok, ok, so first put it on, then Ill get started on your hair, then we can do your makeup. What do you think of purple flame eyeshadow? And red lipstick? Oh! And some purple sparkles for your hair, I should have some somewhere!" Grabbing the dress Allison sighed, This is going to be a long night.

If only she knew.
