𝓒𝓱𝓪𝓹𝓽𝓮𝓻 1: 𝓣𝓸 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓦𝓪𝓽𝓮𝓻𝓼 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓦𝓲𝓵𝓭

Part 1:

"I maybe Shy but doesn't mean I can't be sarcastic."

Layla walked around the courtyard looking around, and saw a familiar blonde talking to a redheaded girl  who must have been a first year like her cause Layla has never seen her before.

"Wow you are so lost." Layla heard the familiar blonde say "I'm impressed with your guys's confidence, in the face of complete ignorance, issue is your over committed. I mean your essentially running. And now that I'm here, you can't give me the satisfaction of turning around."  "I don't need help." 

 "I... don't remember offering. So presumptuous you must be a fairy." 

"I am a fairy."

"Sorry that's just something I thought I never would say." 

 "It's an odd thing, considering your standing in a courtyard of a collage for fairies?" 

"I don't have allot of those where I'm from ."

"And what realm are you guys from ?"

"California?" the redhead said and Layla decided to walk up to them and try and make friends like her sister asked. "your not from the Other-world?" Layla asked "and if you really want your mind blown three months ago I didn't even know the other-world existed."  

"Wow."

"yeah"

"If your lost, which I'm not saying you are and if you need help which I'm not offering, this is the Specialist Hall and Fairy Hall is that way."

"Oh, the Specialist Hall. Obviously."

"hmm"

"And I definitely know what a Specialist is"

"Right so I'd be happy to-"

"mansplain it?" the redhead said 

"Sure. kinda seems like your thing"

"Quit perving on the first years," someone said walking up to the three and  Layla couldn't help but laugh "Riv give me one more second. Yeah?" "Why you gonna chase her?"

The redheaded girl was gone and it was just the three Layla, Sky and Riven "Oh hey Layla." Riven said

"Hi."Layla she said shyly remembered him from last year he was a total nerd and everything, guess that changed after hanging out with Sky for a year.

"Well I've done enough socializing I'm gonna go" Layla said to the two guys standing next to her and she walked off.

"Shared space, Terra. Everyone loved The Secret Garden because it was a secret." Stella said and I rolled my eyes.

"I don't think that was the whole meaning but okay."

"She's right, that's not quite the message of The Secret Garden, if anything its a story about how when things are kept private their benefits aren't fully appreciated."

Stella looked at Terra and she left "Ok." then Stella looked at me

"What?" I said and then shrugged as she rolled her eyes.

Stella left so I just followed Terra to meet the other roommate "well she seems lovely"

"Yeah try living with her."

The other girl laughed "hey, I'm Musa."

"Layla.."

"Stella's just having fun. I know it's allot, earth fairy called Terra likes plants, shocker. It's a family thing, I got this cousin called Flora and my mum's called Rose, and my dad works in the Greenhouse here. That's why I know a load of second years. I grew up around Alfea so..." Terra said joining into the conversation 

"Stella's a second year, why is she in a suite with first years?" Musa asked

"Oh yeah um...I, dunno, actually, uh really." Terra says but Layla notice Musa's eye's go purple.

"Also, sorry, I just wouldn't bring it up with her."

"You know,? Um let's all of us just blanket statement, 'who, cares?'."

After Terra left Layla looked at Musa "your a mind fairy."

"So?"

"Cool."

Layla sat outside of the border alone  thinking, this was the only place she could be alone with out Stella looking for her or any people near by. "What are you doing out here?"Layla heard  someone say from behind her and she jumped "oh, uh, hiding from everyone." 

"anyone particular?"

"my sister"

"Ah Stella."

"What about you who are you hiding from?" Layla asked curiously.

"teachers, the headmistress."

"why?"She asked and he pulled out a lighter and a cigarette

"oh." 

"Want one?" he asked the blonde and she shook her head.

"You've never smoked before have you?" 

"No."

"Are you sure you don't want to try?" He said but she was hesitant.

"I guess." 

He handed her the cigarette and she took a smoke and a cloud of smoke came out and she coughed and he laughed,  Layla fell over on accident and found a shepherd's body covered in blood.

"Who actually saw the shepherd's body?" Layla heard Terra ask as she make her way towards Terra, Aisha, and Musa "hey" she said quietly.

"Maybe he was just old, people get old, die we all die." Terra said this topic is now bugging me on the list among other things.

"That's old-age decapitation really sneaks up on you."

"Happen to my Nan right in the middle of bingo. Just thwop, thwop, thwop. Down the table."

"No judgement, but.." Musa said to Aisha "I eat a million calories a day."

"If I didn't swim I'd be massive." Aisha said, "I used to Dance I get it." Musa said

"I'm gonna go hide." Layla said

"You do that allot." Musa said looking at Layla,

"I hide when I have nothing to talk about and there is a bunch of people, or when it gets intense."

"Oh. I'm sorry"

"Don't be, it's how I feel not how you feel."  Layla said forgetting that Musa was a Mind fairy.

"So, how was your first day?"Stella asked Layla as they walked around the academy.

"Other than finding a body on my first day it was."Layla said sarcastically but truthfully.

"Was that sarcasm I hear, have you finally mastered the arts of Sarcasm?" Stella said and Layla rolled her eyes

"I maybe Shy but doesn't mean I can't be sarcastic."
