(this happened like a week ago...) soo i was driving home today and like rihanna starts playing like kiss it better.... and i was like OH MY GEEZ i need a fic to rihanna rn so i got thinking and i have THREEE matt drafts rn... a singer oc x matt, a fake dating trope with matt, and a fic titled needed me (genuinely dk if that's gonna be the title tho...). so i was like what better than to mix all these up? and ik i have four fics im working on alr but im gonna start closing up both always forever and thin ice (they need their endings so bad 😞)

anyways here are my thoughts and please lmk your thoughts!!!

so basically what happens is this band (i think im gonna call them "the charms"??? bc that was going to be the mcs stage name in the singer!oc fic i had!) is getting ready to drop their first studio album after many eps. first they need to drop a single to like test the waters and they find that it literally flops. probably have never seen less numbers in their lives... so what better way to up their listens than to have their most shipped duo fake date? (WHERE THE FAKE DATING FIC COMES IN!!) the only problem? they hate each other. oops

i'll get into why and everything when the fic is released and everything but im 80% sure the mcs name is gonna be carmen! and the band is more like a paramore thing where carmen is the only singer, chris is on the drums, matt's on guitar, and nicks on like keyboard or photos! and that's why it's named charms it's like a play on her name (the original singer fic was also inspired by clairo's album charm bc that was gonna be the whole vibe / it was gonna be so cute so im sorry it's not happening anymore 😞).

anyways the fc is still being thought of, may be unknown, i was also thinking nailea? yasmin? or cindy but im still not very sure. ik they're like pretty overused but like i dont think i care anymore lmfao. also cindy has SUCH good content for this fic ngl.
