Once upon a time, there were six girls. Each of these girls were gifted with special abilities by the stars upon their coming of age... but it wasn't long before tragedy struck. As they aged and discovered more of their powers jealousy spread among the former best friends, and soon they turned against each other.

One by one their souls began to rot, each time they hurt a friend and each time they used their abilities for evil their previously shining souls darkened. One by one, they would pass away. Either to another girls hand, or to their own greed for power. Soon, there was only one girl left, and she turned to the stars for help. As she'd done several times in the past she begged them to bring her friends back, to save them and take away their abilities, and to make them normal again. The stars mourned upon learning about the fates of their children, and they figured there really was only one viable solution. They didn't like it, but it was all they could do.

The stars waited, letting the girls' souls rest and heal from the darkness they'd brought on themselves. They waited. And the lone girl waited, before she too would pass. And the stars continued to wait. Decades later, the starts finally acted. The girls were reborn into a normal town, far away from the magical island they'd previously called home.

But they weren't saved.
