"Are you alright Lady Rosie?" Ciel asks me.
I nod.
"I'm fine sweetie." I say.
"Rosie, what did you exactly see or hear?" Sebastian asks me.
I turn to him.
"A scream. And that. No cannibal would do that. Leave her face." I say.
"How... except." Ciel looks like he could barf.
I move my hand. Sebastian follows me into a corner.
"What is it milady?" He asks.
"I've been talking with the locals and their affairs. This stuff is... concerning." I cross my arms.
"Oh? How so?" He asks.
"I know we're demons and can take on anything, but... this case. There's something at work. Something ancient." I hand him a file.
I couldn't understand it. I'm a popular woman. I've gotten sources but they all lead to something dark. I'm honestly kind of rattled. He scans through them. His eyes flick a hint of his demon nature. I bite my lip.
"These pictures were taken in the 1800s. There have been documented cases of this thing that goes back since ancient Egypt." I say.
"Are you sure?" He raises an eyebrow.
"Am I ever not?" I ask.
He takes my hand.
"Of course not my lady. I'll be sure to let him know." He says.
I nod.
