"What's going on?!" I scream.
"You've been tricked Mother Nature!" Jill laughs.
I draw back. What is that foul present? It made me bleed. I have not bled for over three thousand years. I didn't even know I could anymore. This is bad! I had no idea. Tears grip my eyes. I slam my foot into the ground and trees shoot up. Vines shoot from my arms. I'm not a spring chicken. I can defend myself when needed. I am the life of every forest, and I must defend that. The vines grip the walls and I pull.
"Mother Nature stop!" Jill grips the baby.
If I bring the place down, I could kill them and the child. I stop and the vines dissipate and fall to the ground. I turn. I am not for them. My power must be shared among the earth. They haven't the understanding in their wildest dreams. I look down.
"Where do you think you're going old friend?!" A voice yells.
I turn. That sounded way way too much familiar.
"What... exactly is the present?" I turn.
"Your doom." Jack chuckles.
The wrapper burns. My eyes widen. Oh no... oh no... It can't be. I thought we had buried him in the earth and ice for good. The little ball of rock and cinder rises. It glows red. I see smoke shoots out. He's forming his once dark and evil form again. I start running but my hair pulls on the wood. I trip. A sickle shoots down. It slams into Jack's arm. Lobbo!
"Sorry, I'm crashing the party." He whistles as he walks through the doors.
