ᯓ ☆ STARDOM GROUNDS !!
⸺ BUILDING !!
The building looks a bit like a square or rectangle that you've cut almost in half, in the styles of the images above. It has four main floors and an attic, the entrance for the lowest one being just a few feet lower than the ground. There is a brick-like flooring which fills in what would be the rest of the square, with sitting areas and big trees around the place. Past that, there's a road connected to a dirt parking lot, and all around there's a forest with a lake nearby.
If you follow the road, you'll get to a smaller town, and through this town you can get to the main roads and highways, after which you within a few hours can make it to Seoul. The building was originally some sort of mansion or rich person building, and was then remade for a tv-show, and a few years later Queen Of Hearts bought and renovated the building, fixing it to be able to film music videos, host trainees and have survival shows. It has been used a previous survival show too.
The building has a cafeteria, multiple dorms for both trainees and staff with smaller kitchens and bathrooms connected, training rooms and common areas, styling rooms, storage rooms, and a huge room for performances connected to a seating area for the contestants.
All of the public performances are held in Seoul, and the location of the building is unknown for the safety of trainees and staff.
⸺ DORMS !!
Each dorm area has three bedrooms, a smaller kitchen and a bathroom. The bedrooms have space for 2 to 3 people each, with the two person rooms having either a bunkbed or two singular beds, or the three person rooms having a bunkbed and a singular bed.
If you were to go along one of the three dorm corridors, one of which existing in the basement, you'd find first four dorms, then a common area, and another four dorms. In the basement corridor there is a ninth dorm on one side, and the other side goes to another corridor as well as a storage facility.
For Reach The Stars, the basement dorms are standing unused and trainees were encouraged to bring decor for their dorms to help them feel more at home. (there is a tab in the docs for this! if you dont see it, open the og form link and copy the instructions, and add another tab to your form to paste the instructions).
⸺ COMMON + TRAINING ROOMS !!
Each dorm has a common area which includes a small kitchen and somewhere to sit. The larger common areas in the dorm corridors has proper sofas, tables, and bookshelves. For special occasions there will also be things like dvd players so the trainees can watch movies together.
There are also a few differently sized training rooms, which all have a speaker system, a sofa, a mini fridge and a place to get water. Other commonly used rooms are the styling rooms, where the trainees can get styled for in-house performances, and conversational rooms, which are just smaller rooms where trainees or staff can go to either have a completely private space, where they can discuss things for performances, or where a trainee can get interviewed.
There is also the performance room, which has a stage, seating for the judges and hosts, and seating for all the trainees. The other huge community space is the cafeteria; which is used for times when the staff or trainees makes and serves meals to the whole group of trainees.
ᯓ ☆ TRAINEE STYLING !!
⸺ EVERYDAY + PRACTICE !!
the trainees get a set of clothes given to them upon arriving at the site; a t-shirt and sweater, a black or blue zipper hoodie with a big white star on it, as well as sweatpants and shorts. these clothes are in white, black or blue, and have various official star symbols on them.
trainees are also allowed to bring their own clothes to the show, of course anything brought in would go through a sort of checking process so that no scandals can appear from it. for example, they can bring their own sweaters and hoodies, jeans, cozy socks, beanies and similar.
⸺ FORMAL !!
there is a formal uniform which also is given to the trainees upon arriving at the site. they get a long and short sleeved white shirt, and a dark blue suit jacket. they also get to make certain decisions about their uniforms, and this is what they get to pick between; a blue vest, a loose dark blue button up hoodie/jacket with light blue detailing, or a dark blue sweater with light blue detailing — a tie or a bow — a blue plaid skirt or grey suit pants.
all of these pieces have a symbol on the left upper side, which is a star with a sort of swooshy line around it. the trainees were these for official things, such as evaluations and public sightings.
