Luc is someone who shares his opinion with everyone who asks. Because of this there is hardly anyone who hasn't at least heard of him. "Luc? Isn't he that ásshole from potions class?" Either you like him or not, there is no real middle ground. While he sometimes can be irritating, once he likes you, you got yourself a loyal friend. But don't think he will take the blame for something you have done; your mess your problem. The most Luc would do is help you clean it up. While he has a big mouth, he tries hard not to be mean to his friends on purpose. Turns out he isn't an ásshole to everyone. Ambitious like no other, he makes no secret of his bold goals. This is where his charm comes in handy. Standing in strong contrast to his more ruthless side, Luc is capable of being extremely charming, persuasive, and playful, although he does not always exercise these traits. What side he shows usually depends on who he's with. Luc can actually be quite funny, though his sense of humour might take some time to get used to.

ＰＥＲＳＯＮＡＬ ＬＩＦＥ

𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 ↳ Luc was born and raised in Paris, the capitol of France, as the only son of two influential ministry workers who had married almost immediately after graduating from Beauxbatons. The marriage between Genevieve Badeaux and Alaric Darcey had been one made out of love, but over time they realised that they weren't made for each other. Nevertheless they stayed together... If you could call it that. Though they continued to live in the same house, they avoided each other. Luc watched everything unfold, watched his parents marriage crumble. Why they didn't divorce the young boy didn't know. Much later he found out that it was for something as stupid as political power. Their jobs, it turned out were very important to them, more important than their son, it seemed. While his parents were hunting promotions, he was making sure that all the nannies they hired to take care of him quit within their first week. He figured that if he couldn't gain his parents approval by being a good kid, he could at least get their attention by being a bad one. By the age of nine, he'd managed to chase so many nanny's away that his mother lost count. All of that stopped when he met Doreen Dupont, a strict but loving women that had little tolerance for ill behaved children. No matter what Luc did, she wouldn't leave and eventually he accepted that. Hell, he even started to like her. She would read bedtime stories to him if he behaved well or make him his favourite dish. Often she would tell him about the fun she had in Hogwarts, so eventually Luc couldn't help but want to go to school there too. Even though his parents had intended for him to go to Beauxbatons like them before, he eventually managed to convince them to let him go to Hogwarts. The convincing primarily consisted of Luc annoying them until they said yes. Doreen was the one to bring him to the platform and she was also the one to gift him his first pet: a mean baby owl that bit and he later named Pepper. She'd told him that the animal had reminded her of him, and that all the owl needed was some discipline and a hand to guide it. He'd thanked and hugged her before leaving, and might have even shed a tear or two. Once on the train he quickly made friends and forgot all his fears. Much to his luck most of his friends would also be sorted in the same house as him: Slytherin, the home of the ambitious. It quickly showed that he fit right in.

ＯＴＨＥＲ  ＩＮＦＯ

𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞𝐬 ✧Luc has shown great interest in playing the piano. Having started to learn doing it at the age of six, he is actually pretty good and therefore likes to show off. Luc prefers food that is seasoned well, and would generally never say no to a medium rare steak. His favorite color is navy blue and his favorite season winter. When speaking of winter he means the one in France, where the coldest it can get is around 0 degree Celsius, with little to no snow. He things that these are the perfect conditions to play quidditch, which he enjoys very much. Having an affinity for the sport, he also got his fondness of winning from there. Much like his grade in defence against the dark arts suggests, learning more about martial magic has become a particular passion of his, especially offensively used spells. Last but not least, he thinks that dark magic isn't necessarily 'bad' and has voiced said thoughts on several occasions.

𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞𝐬 ✧ Being someone who is very me focused and used to getting attention, Luc isn't the biggest fan of playing the second fiddle, left alone being ignored. Telling him that he is wrong isn't the best idea either, as he has no qualms getting personal if you start doubting him or his believes. Sharing anything is not something he enjoys, like at all. Neither does he like to be around people he has deemed stupid. Though he does not explicitly have anything against muggleborns, Luc dislikes their music and their culture in general. To be fair he hasn't had much exposure. Hating it when someone talks about him behind his back, he is more than willing to settle the problem with either fists or wands, as long as the coward learns his lesson. Either say it to his face or not at all.

𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐬 ✧ Talented in flying and a great chaser, Luc has shown himself to be a valuable member of the Slytherin quidditch team, which also lead to him getting the position of captain. Being a bilingual, he is able to speak both French and English fluently, and is currently attempting to learn Italian. Having a way with words, he is able to either build someone up or tear someone down with a few carefully chosen words. As someone who has shown interest in the dark arts even outside of the classroom, his understanding of the subject is more than noteworthy, though primarily theoretical.

𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 & 𝐟𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐬 ✧ Luc is someone who takes the offence in almost anything conflict related. Because of this he is not used to having to justify himself or take the defence in duels. This can easily be used against him. Moreover, despite being a talented quidditch player he is willing to cheat or risk losing, if it means that he gets the opportunity to play the hero and save the day. If his team wins, then it has to be because of him and no one else. Admittedly self centred, Luc gets jealous rather easily, and as an only child has never really learned how to share. His tendency to be insensitive and confrontational makes it easy for others to dislike him, and gets him into fights fairly often.

Fear of abandonment - This is a type of anxiety that some people experience when faced with the idea of losing someone they care about. It was triggered by his parents neglect but has significantly lessened since he met Doreen.
Cynophobia- This phobia is defined as a fear of dogs. For him it is less a fear but more that they make him nervous. If he has known a dog for a while then he doesn't feel that way anymore.

𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭 ✧ Last year he cursed the broom of the Ravenclaw keeper, so it wouldn't exactly do as it was supposed to. Instead of simply making it harder for the boy to control his broom, it actively acted up, which led to him falling off it and nearly dying. Luc never intended for the boy to get hurt, he'd only wanted to make it easier for himself to score. He's more afraid of seeing Doreen's disappointed look than getting expelled.

𝐩𝐞𝐭 ( 𝐬 ) ✧ Luc's pet lizard named "Potentia" ( who's name he chose because it translates form latin to 'might' ), is a female heloderma suspectum lizard, a species that is known for it's black and pink coloring and it's poisonous bite. Moreover, he also is the owner of a male speckled owl named "Pepper"  that bites everyone that tries to pet him, with the exception of his master.
