Once a victor she has the means to buy whatever clothes she wants. It doesn't really matter because she spends most of her time in the capitol, where she's dressed by her stylist. He likes to stick to colors that can be found on trees, mainly greens and browns. Only at home she can decide what she wears. Mostly she sticks to what she wore before she became a victor. She isn't picky, because she likes to pretend as though everything is as it was before the games.

↳ 𝗽𝗿𝗲 𝟲𝟴𝘁𝗵 𝗵𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀: a couple of smaller, not necessarily noticeable scars on her hands and upper arms from working, some of which she doesn't remember getting.

𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 ✧ Alexa is nothing, if not a person that is controlled by her emotions. If she feels, she usually feels deeply, sometimes to the point that she feels overwhelmed by her emotions. Both her love and her hate for someone may very well lead her to lose all sense of reasoning, causing her to act before she thinks, throwing herself into danger without calculating the consequences. Alexa is loyal to a fault, which makes her willing to go down swinging for or alongside someone if she cares for them enough. Alas, it takes quite some time for this type of deep seated loyalty to develop. Once you have it though, it's usually for forever. While Alexa is not above lying, she keeps her word to the best of her abilities, if only to make herself feel better about herself. Alexa knows that she is a fairly selfish person and has never tried to hide it. That doesn't mean that she isn't compassionate, however. She is empathetic and kind when she can allow herself to be. As the eldest child she helped raise her younger siblings and has since developed an instinct to protect those who cannot protect themselves. However, if she ever had to chose between her well-being and that of a stranger, even if it were a child, she would likely chose herself, even if she would hate herself for it. Her emotions and moods are usually fairly easily readable to others, even strangers if they have a high enough EQ. One could almost say that she wears her heart on her sleeve, which is something she isn't particularly fond of. On several occasions she has tried to get herself to mask her emotions better, something she was only moderately successful in. Only because she isn't particularly good at masking her emotions doesn't mean that she can't read those of the people around her. Alexa is indeed quite perceptive, and thus able to often get a grasp of what other peoples hidden motivations are. She trusts her instincts when it comes to trusting people and usually her instincts are indeed right. While she may not catch every lie that is being told to her Alexa is often able to determine whether or not someone can or should be relied upon. Generally speaking one can say that Alexa works best in a team, especially a smaller one. She is very cooperative, as she has worked with others for most of her life. Though she theoretically has the necessary skills and expertise to make it on her own, Alexa was never alone growing up, which lead her to crave companionship. The girl is quick to feel lonely and/or bored if she is all by herself. All in all she is a rather curious individual, who, up to her first hunger games, has seen very little of the world. She wants to learn more, see more, experience more. Alexa is playful and can sometimes act a bit childish, though only really in situations where she thinks it's not inappropriate. Having spent much of her younger years with the older boys in her district, she has developed something of an reckless side. Alexa often acts on her impulsive thoughts and not seldom overestimates herself. Luckily, she usually manages to either talk her way out of her problems or find another resourceful way to escape the consequences of her actions.

ＰＥＲＳＯＮＡＬ  ＬＩＦＥ

𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 ↳ Alexa grew up in a small house in district seven together with her parents, Antony and Josephine Braun, and her two younger siblings Jasper and Maria. For the most part life was uneventful. She went to school, was a mostly average student, but struggled with reading. Once she turned twelve, she started working in her districts lumber industry. She did so after school, but only for a couple of hours a week. While the work was exhausting, she liked that the workers would often sing songs together. In no time she sung along. The older she got, the less time she spent in the classroom. Her family was by no means poor, at least not compared to other families, but they rarely had money left which they could use to buy luxury items. Whenever they did have spare money they used it to get paint and paper. Her mother was a truly talented artist, sometimes people who had the means would even buy some of her works. Alexa liked to watch her paint and do it herself, though she was never as good as her mother. At the age of fifteen, finally old enough, she dropped out of school and started working full time. At age seventeen her sisters best friend, who had turned 12 a couple of days prior, was reaped. In her shortsightedness, after seeing her sister Marie crying out and trying to run towards her friend, Alexa chose to volunteer in the girls stead. At the very least she stood a chance at winning, unlike the little girl.

𝟔𝟖𝐭𝐡 𝐡𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬 ↳ Under construction.

𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 ↳ Not too long after her victory, Alexa was forced into prostitution by President Snow, threatening her loved ones with death if she didn't comply. She thought he was bluffing. She should have known that he wasn't. One week after she'd essentially told him to go fuck himself her mother was severely injured during an 'accident' in her factory. The doctor told the Braun family that she was likely going to die within the next couple of days. And she would have, if it hadn't been for Alexa begging Snow to help her mother, promising that she would do anything. Thanks to the capitol's technology Josephine Braun survived. The general public was unaware of what did and would occur if Alexa didn't follow Snow's wishes, simply believing that the victor voluntarily took many romantic partners during her visits to the Capitol. By the time she mentored her first tributes she was self medicating, in form of tablets. It weren't the tablets though, but instead the other victors who helped her get through the pain of losing her first tributes.

Cynophobia - As a child Alexa developed an extreme and irrational fear of dogs after being chased by a rabid dog whom she just narrowly escaped by climbing up a tree.
Claustrophobia - She developed a fear of enclosed spaces during her imprisonment in the Capitol.
Electrophobia - When she was a captive of the capitol the guards used electroshocks to try and get her to reveal the rebellion's plans.

• out of the five star tattoos on her body, the biggest star at the very top of her neck is supposed to represent Hunter.
• au: After both survive the hunger games, President Snow demands of them that they convince him and the public that they hate each other.
• au: after their first games, once they have surpassed the "welp, sorry I almost killed you stage ( I only did what had to be done )" they meet up in secret several times a month.
• au: After several months of disuse Hunter is the first person Alexa calls with the fancy phone in her luxurious house. Before making up with him there is no one she found worth calling.
• au: during their very first hunger games as mentors their tributes ( ironically ) team up. The alliance seemed stable. It was. In the end Alexa's tribute was poised by one of the scorpion mutations of the game makers. Alexa tried to find people who were willing to sponsor an antidote. No one would. Her tribute died a slow and painful death. That night her and Hunter get black out drunk and he holds her as she cries.
• au: Post Quarter Quell. Following the destruction of the arena, Alexa and Hunter are brought to the capitol. Knowing of their connection, President Snow makes sure that both of their cells face each other. Each has a huge glass window so that they can see and hear when the other one is being tortured.
• au: once Hunter and her are rescued, they're brought to distract 13, where they share a room. Both are traumatized by what happened in the capitol. Alexa not seldom has nightmares of what they did to Hunter. When she wakes up, he is there reassuring her that he is okay, that they are okay and safe now. She does the same for him whenever he has nightmares. Though neither of them talks about it, during those instances, they hold the other until they fall back asleep.
• au: Alexa once beat the shit out of a men from district 13 who said that Hunter was simply supporting the rebels out of convenience and that he would switch alliances the moment he could. As punishment she was forbidden from leaving her room for a whole week. Knowing that Alexa had developed an extreme fear of enclosed spaces as a consequence of her imprisonment in the Capitol, Hunter chose to spent most of his time with her. Even though Alexa refused to tell Hunter for what she was being punished he eventually found out on his own.
