~Battle with Vigo

"I'm pregnant."

The boys just look at her in shocked, including Egon. There's an dead silence until Ray chuckled, "Wow! Charli that's great!" he exclaimed leaning over the table to give her an awkward hug.

Winston congratulated her while Venkman was being Venkman and said "I never thought that you and Spengler had it." Charli rolled her eyes and then look at Egon who still look at her in shocked before letting out a chuckle, "I-I'm gonna be a father." he breathe out and then give her a hug. He could feel tears dripping onto his blue shirt, he then rubbed her back softly.

The doctor came back and let The Ghostbusters go while suiting up Louis fill them what happen to Oscar, "....And he took the baby into the carriage, and it levitated away!" he finished explaining.

"What'd Dana do? Where'd she go?" Peter question in distressed.

"I don't know, she said she was going to the museum to get the baby back. And there was an eclipse, and the whole town went dark, and everybody's nuts!"

"It all fits! Vigo wants in on the 21st century. He needs a human body to inhabit. Little Oscar must be it!" Ray explained.

"Yeah, and I bet we're the only ones who can do anything about it, right?" Winston said.

"You bet we are!" Camila exclaimed.

The Ghostbusters drove to Dana's museum, once they got out to hear everyone cheering out for them like 5 years ago and then they saw the museum covered in slime. "Looks like a giant Jell-O mold." Ray said.

"I hate Jell-O." Winston said.

"Same here." Charli said, Camila looked at her weirdly "Um, since when?" she ask her.

Charli replied "Since High School."

Peter look at Winston and Charli "Aw, come on. There's always room for Jell-O."

The Ghostbusters then charge up their proton packs and blast them at slime, but to no avail "Save 'em!" Ray said to the others.

"That slime mold is pulsing with evil, It would take a tremendous amount of positive energy to crack that shell and I seriously doubt there's enough goodwill left in this town to do it." Egon explained.

"He's right." Charli said.

Ray groans and then said "You know, I just can't believe things have gotten so bad in this city that there's no way back. I mean, sure, it's dirty, it's crowded, it's polluted, it's noisy and there's people all around who'd just as soon step on your face as look at you." Camila smiled and nodded "But come on! There's got to be a few sparks of sweet humanity left in this burned-out burg and we just have to figure out a way to mobilize it."

"He's right. We need something that everyone in this town can get behind, we need... a symbol!" Charli said.

"Something that appeals to the best in each and every one of us." Ray said.

Egon chimed in "Something good."

"Something decent."

"Something pure."

The Ghostbusters look at The Statue of Liberty, "Kind of makes you wonder, doesn't it?" Peter ask.

"Wonder what?" Charli ask.

"Whether she's naked under that toga." Peter replied, the sisters look at him weird.

Peter then looks at the girls "What? She's French, you know that."

The Ghostbusters set up their equipment inside The Statue of Liberty, while Ray and Winston blast the entire statue with the positive slime.

"Do you think this will work?" Charli ask Egon.

"It should." Egon replied with his rare smile, he put his hand behind her head and give her a kiss on her forehead and put his on hers. Then The Statue of Liberty started to move as Egon clutches onto Charli with one hand and supporting her and himself with the other hand.

The Statue of Liberty then started to walk over to the museum "Can't you make her go any faster?" Winston ask.

"I'm afraid the vibrations would shake her to pieces." Ray replied.

" We should have padded her feet." Camila said.

"I don't think they make Nikes in her size, Camila." Egon joked.

The Statue of Liberty stopped in the museum and smashes the skylight as The Ghostbusters slid down the ropes, "Go away! Do you know who this is?" Janosz ask.

"Happy New Year." Peter said.

"He is Vigo, you are like the buzzing of flies to him!"

" Johnny, did you back the wrong horse. Will you hose him, please?" Peter ask.

"Hose him!" Ray shouted as Ray and Winston slimed him.

Charli walk over to Dana and hugged her, Dana give her the baby "You're okay baby boy. Your safe now." Charli said softly to the baby who cooed.

"You make a great mother." Dana said stroking Oscar's cheek.

"She is becoming a mother." Camila said to Dana, Charli smiled at Dana who congratulated her.

"Is he dead?" Dan ask looking at unconscious Janosz.

"No, this slime is positively charged. He'll wake up feeling like a million bucks." Ray explained.

Then the others started to feel the wind blowing, Charli then gives Oscar to Peter. As something crash startling the boys as three hoses wrapped around the girls, Egon was the first to tried to remove the hose away from his girlfriend.

"Should've brought my pocketknife." Camila said.

"We gotta cut them out of this." Ray said, as the boys tried to remove the hose away from the girl.

Then Egon stopped and turn just in time to see Vigo appeared, he was tall with long hair wearing a 17 century attire. "Uh oh." he said, Charli's eyes widen to see Vigo.

"Hold it right there, deadhead!" Ray called out, "You want a baby, go ahead and knock up some willing hellhound. Otherwise I'm giving you to the count of three to get back in that painting where you belong. One..."

Peter chimed in "Two."

"Three." The two Ghostbusters shot their proton beams at him, then Vigo deflects the beams and the Ghostbusters into a nearby wall. Charli cried out for Egon, "That was really stupid." Winston said.

"Ray, can you move?" Egon ask him.

Ray replied "No. Are you okay?"

"No. Venkman, how are you?"

"I'm fine." Peter said nonchalantly.

Vigo then move the boxes that hid Oscar away from him, Dana cried out for The Ghostbusters to do something. Then like an idiot, Peter then yelled out for Vigo "Hey, Vigo! Yeah, you! The bimbo with the baby. Anyone ever tell you the big shoulder look is out? You know, I have met some dumb blondes in my life, but you take the taco, pal. Only a Carpathian would come back to life now and choose New York."

Peter continue his rant until Vigo shoot the beam at the boys which paralyzed them, Charli watch in horror to see the boys getting shock. Then the Ghostbusters start to hear music, "Where's that singing coming from?" Camila ask.

"The people outside." Winston replied.

"He's weakening, the singing is neutralizing the slime!" Egon said, then the boys are able to move again. Vigo then drops Oscar but once Camila was freed from the hose she'd manage to grab him and gave him to Dana, Charli look to see him back into the painting "He's back in the painting!" she cried out.

Once the Ghostbusters walk up to the painting but Ray blocked them "Uh, Ray? We'd like to shoot the monster. Could you move, please?" Egon ask.

The others call out for Ray, but to only see him possessed by Vigo. The Ghostbusters manage to free Ray and defeated Vigo, Camila walk over to ray and helped him up. "How do you feel?" she ask him.

"Groovy, " he said, Charli walk over to the two "Cam, I love you. Charli I can't wait for the baby to come and the wedding."

"Wedding?" Charli ask, she look over to Egon and proceed to walk over to him.

Egon took her hands into his and then breathed out "Marry me?"

Tears welled up in her eyes and let out a giggle "Yes." as the two leaned in for a soft, passionate kiss.

"Hey folks! You wanna take a look at this?" Winstion cried out, The others walk over to the painting. "Early Renaissance, I think." Egon said, Charli nodded and said "Raphael, or Pierro de la Francesca."

"No, I believe it's one of the Fettucinis." Peter said, the painting show The Ghostbusters huddling over Baby Oscar.

The Ghostbusters left the museum to see a crowd of people cheering and chanting "Ghostbusters." as soon Egon and Charli left the museum, she felt something slip into her finger. She look to see a ring on her finger, she look at Egon who'd give her a passionate kiss.

Truly a best New Year of their lives!
