The rink was alive with noise, the clatter of skates against ice echoing through the air as the Ducks prepared for their next game.

The tension was thick, but excitement buzzed among the players.

They had something to prove—not just to the Cardinals but to themselves.

Bombay blew his whistle sharply, signaling the team to huddle at the bench.

"All right, listen up!" Bombay's voice carried authority as the players crowded around him, their breath visible in the cool air.

"Let's forget the past. We lost a few games. Tough!" He paused, glancing at each player in turn. "That was District Five. Now, we're the Ducks."

A murmur of agreement swept through the group, their expressions shifting to determination.

"And the Ducks..." Bombay leaned in, his voice rising, "...are undefeated."

"Yeah!" The team erupted into cheers, the words sparking a surge of pride and energy.

Bombay smirked and raised his fist. "Quack... Quack..."

The team joined in, their voices building into a roaring chant. "Quack! Quack! Quack! Quack! Go ducks ! "

From the Cardinals' bench, their coach frowned, his brow furrowed in confusion. "What the hell was that?" he muttered, clearly unimpressed.

But the Ducks didn't care.

They were fired up, ready to take the ice.

The game began with a face-off, the puck dropping fast as the Cardinals immediately gained control.

Bombay shouted from the sidelines. "Defense, Ducks! Let's go!"

The team scrambled into position, their skates cutting sharp arcs into the ice.

The Oreo Line—Jesse, Terry, and Guy—worked in sync, intercepting the puck and passing it down the rink with precision.

"Yes!" Jesse shouted. "The Oreo Line!"

Juliet cheered from the bench, clapping her hands. "Keep it up, guys!"

The Cardinals pushed back hard, their star player charging down the rink with the puck.

Karp skated to block him but tripped, tumbling hard onto the ice.

Gasps rippled through the crowd as the referee blew his whistle.

Bombay and the team rushed to Karp, who lay sprawled out, dazed.

"Karp," Bombay knelt beside him, tapping his helmet. "How many fingers am I holding up?"

Karp blinked groggily. "I don't wanna go to school today, Mom," he mumbled.

Peter snickered. "He wouldn't know that answer anyway."

"Shut up, Peter," Bombay snapped, though a smile tugged at the corner of his mouth.

Juliet leaned closer, laughing softly before nudging Connie. "Classic Karp."

Averman chimed in, "The Karp-ster used his head to stop the puck. What a move, Mr. Karp-a-lanche!"

"Let's get you off the ice," Bombay said, motioning for Charlie and Noah to help.

"Need help, Char?" Juliet offered as Charlie grabbed one of Karp's arms.

"I'm good, thanks, though," Charlie replied with a grin, his cheeks faintly red as he focused on the task.

Once Karp was safely on the bench, Bombay turned back to the team, his voice steady and firm. "All right, Ducks. We've still got a chance here. Connie, Jesse, Terry, Guy, Noah—time for the secret weapon."

The group nodded, understanding the plan as Bombay motioned for Fulton Reed.

"Okay, Fulton," Bombay said, clapping him on the shoulder. "Remember, just like we talked about."

The referee blew his whistle, signaling the next face-off.

The Ducks lined up, their focus sharper than ever.

Noah won the face-off, deftly passing the puck to Fulton.

The towering player skated forward, and as soon as the Cardinals caught sight of him, they scattered in fear.

The Cardinals' defense fell apart as Fulton powered forward, his strength and presence dominating the ice.

He passed the puck back to Noah, who quickly sent it back. Fulton wound up his massive shot, the puck rocketing past the Cardinals' goalie and slamming into the net.

"Yes!" Juliet jumped from the bench, her cheers mixing with the roar of the crowd.

The scoreboard flashed: 2-2. The game was tied with seconds left on the clock.

When the final buzzer sounded, the rink exploded with noise.

The Ducks swarmed the ice, celebrating their hard-fought draw like it was a victory.

Juliet skated straight to Noah, throwing her arms around her brother. "You did it, Noah!" she exclaimed, her voice brimming with pride.

Charlie skated over, grinning as he offered Noah a fist bump. "Nice job, man!"

Bombay clapped his hands, his smile wide. "That's how we play, Ducks! Great work out there!"

The team continued their celebration, their laughter and cheers echoing through the rink. They weren't just a team anymore—they were the Ducks. And together, they were unstoppable.
