Elena pulled up to Miguel's house, the car's engine purring to a stop as she parked along the curb.

She was excited to hang out, but as she stepped out of the car, she had no idea what she was about to walk into.

Miguel had always been known for his long hair, the kind that always looked effortless and cool.

She couldn't imagine him without it.

She rang the doorbell, her heart racing with anticipation.

The door swung open, and there he was.

Miguel stood in front of her, his hair now drastically different—gone was the long, untamed style.

In its place was a sleek, stylish middle part, the kind of haircut that made him look older and polished.

Elena froze for a split second, her mouth dropping open in shock. Then, unable to contain herself, she screamed.

"Oh my god! You cut your hair?!"

Miguel raised an eyebrow, clearly amused by her reaction. "Uh, yeah. You didn't see that coming?"

"I—" Elena stammered, her hand flying to her face. "You look... so different! Like, so different!"

Miguel couldn't help but laugh at her genuine surprise. "You don't like it?"

Elena took a moment to collect herself, still in mild shock but grinning. "No, it's just... I didn't think you'd actually do it! You've had that long hair for as long as I've known you. This is—wow, I'm still processing."

"Yeah, well," Miguel shrugged, running his fingers through his new style, "I thought it was time for a change. What do you think?"

Elena blinked a few times before finally nodding. "I mean, I like it. It suits you! You look... mature. Like a grown-up version of yourself."

Miguel smirked, stepping aside to let her in. "Well, I guess I've officially graduated from the Tarazan guy stage to the hottie stage .'"

"I'm still not over it," Elena muttered under her breath, half-laughing as she followed him inside. "You totally shocked me, man."

Miguel chuckled as he led her into the living room, clearly enjoying the reaction. "I'll take that as a compliment."
