Elena sat cross-legged on her bed, a takeout box of pasta perched precariously on her nightstand as she twirled a forkful of spaghetti.

Her laptop was open to a half-finished email, but she ignored it in favor of scrolling through her camera roll on her phone.

She absentmindedly scrolled past random photos—a blurry shot of her dog, a sunset she had tried to capture, and some selfies she didn't even remember taking. Her fork hovered mid-air as her thumb paused on a specific folder: 2021 - The Black Phone.

She blinked, her curiosity piqued as she tapped on the folder. Instantly, memories flooded back.

The first photo was of her and Miguel, both of them laughing on set. She remembered how he had teased her about tripping over a prop that day.

The next was a group selfie—Mason, Madeline, Jacob, and Elena crammed into the frame, all of them making silly faces. Mason had somehow ended up with whipped cream on his nose from craft services, and the picture had been taken mid-laughter.

Elena scrolled through more: photos of her and Madeline in their costumes, behind-the-scenes snaps of Jacob pretending to look serious, and candid shots of the crew.

Each one brought a wave of nostalgia that made her smile.

Finishing the last bite of her pasta, she set the takeout box aside and leaned back against her pillows. Her fingers hovered over one particular photo: a candid of her and Mason sitting on the floor between takes, both laughing about something she couldn't quite remember.

She bit her lip thoughtfully, then exited the camera roll and opened Instagram.

It had been a while since she posted something, and these photos felt too special to keep to herself.

She selected a few of her favorites: Banks levitating , a picture of her eating that Miguel took and a shot of the whole cast posing together on their last day of filming.
