Elena sprawled across her bed, remote in hand, as The Mighty Ducks played on her TV.

She had a blanket pulled up to her chest and a tub of popcorn nestled beside her.

The scene where Charlie Conway skated across the ice with that signature confident smirk had her grinning like a fool.

"Charlie Conway, you're everything," she muttered to herself, tossing a piece of popcorn into her mouth.

Without warning, her door flew open, and Charolette barged in like a whirlwind, arms full of snacks. "What are we watching, and why didn't you invite me?"

Elena groaned but didn't look away from the screen. "You have no concept of knocking, do you?"

"Not when I know you're being antisocial," Charolette quipped, climbing onto Elena's bed and making herself comfortable. "Seriously, what are we watching?"

"The Mighty Ducks," Elena said with a smirk, taking another handful of popcorn.

Charolette gasped dramatically. "Guy Germain! My future husband."

Elena turned to face her. "Future husband? Since when?"

"Since always," Charolette replied with an exaggerated eye roll. She pointed at the screen as Guy skated into frame. "Look at him—he's adorable, nice, and he can skate. What more could you want?"

Elena laughed, shaking her head. "You're ridiculous."

"And you're one to talk," Charolette shot back, nudging Elena's shoulder. "You've had a thing for Charlie Conway since, like, the Stone Age."

"Timeless crushes are valid," Elena said with a shrug, though her cheeks turned pink.

"Uh-huh," Charolette teased, stealing some of Elena's popcorn. "You're just predictable."

The two settled into the movie, laughing and throwing out commentary about the characters. They debated which team member had the best skills and made fun of the over-the-top coaching moments.

Halfway through the film, the door creaked open again, and Aaron stepped inside, leaning casually against the frame.

"What's going on in here?" he asked, his eyes darting between the two girls.

"Girl time," Charolette said, popping a chip into her mouth. "Leave."

"Not a chance," Aaron said with a smirk, strolling over to sit in the chair by Elena's desk. "What are we watching?"

Elena sighed, gesturing to the screen. "The Mighty Ducks."

Aaron's eyebrows lifted in amusement. His gaze settled on Charolette. "Let me guess—you're here for Guy Germain."

Charolette tossed a chip at him, which he caught effortlessly. "And you're here because you can't stand not being the center of attention."

"I'm here because I was bored," Aaron retorted, leaning back in the chair. He glanced at the screen briefly before his attention flicked back to Charolette. "And you're loud."

Charolette smirked, brushing imaginary dust off her shoulder. "You love it."

Aaron muttered something under his breath, his face turning slightly pink.

Elena didn't miss the way his eyes lingered on Charolette for a moment too long.

"Am I interrupting something?" Elena teased, breaking the tension.

"No," Aaron and Charolette said in unison, their voices overlapping.

Elena gave her twin a knowing look before turning back to the movie.

Charolette shrugged and leaned further into the bed, snatching more popcorn from Elena's bowl.

By the time the movie reached its climax, Aaron and Charolette were deep into a passive-aggressive argument about whether Guy was actually a good player.

"He's decent," Aaron said, crossing his arms. "But he's no Charlie Conway."

"Oh, please," Charolette shot back. "Guy is way more well-rounded than Charlie."

"You're just biased because you think he's cute," Aaron said, his tone sharper than usual.

Charolette raised an eyebrow at him, clearly amused by his sudden attitude. "And you're just mad because you can't admit I'm right."

"Okay, that's enough," Elena said, laughing as she threw a pillow at both of them. "You two sound like a married couple."

Aaron scoffed, standing up from the chair. "I'm going to get a drink. Try not to ruin the movie while I'm gone."

As he walked out, Elena and Charolette exchanged a look.

"What's his problem?" Charolette asked, leaning back against the headboard.

Elena shrugged, biting back a grin. "I think someone's jealous."

Charolette blinked, clearly caught off guard. "Jealous? Of what?"

Elena didn't respond, instead turning her attention back to the screen. But the knowing smirk on her face said everything.
