* 3rd Person's P.O.V

It was a dark and stormy night, Kanato was laying on his bed and chatting with Teddy. " Could you believe the day I had?" Kanato grunted. " Our tea party was ruined by a cat, I accidently awoken a corpse, and now we have a ghost bride roaming around our home" he added. Kanato sighed in exhaustion, ' Could this day get any worse?' he thought to himself. " Anyway, we should get to bed before Reiji gives us an earful for being late to night school" Kanato places Teddy on his bed. He went to his drawer and grabbed his nightwear. Kanato changed into his nightwear and climbed onto his bed. " Good night, Teddy" Kanato said as he turned off the lights. Kanato pulled Teddy close and fallen asleep. 

* Time Skip

 Everyone at the Sakamaki manor was fast asleep. The halls were as silent as a mouse, not a soul was found. In Kanato's room, Kanato mumbled gibberish as he turned in his sleep. He slept peacefully when suddenly a creak was heard. Kanato rubbed his eyes as he continued to hear the creaks. Kanato grunted angrily when he stood up from his bed. " Who could be up at this hour?" he mumbled to himself. Kanato grabbed Teddy and got up from his bed. He walked towards his door and peaked his head out. Kanato checked both sides of the hallway, he walked out of his room while carrying Teddy. Kanato grabbed a lit candle from one of the candle holders and walked down the halls. " Hello? Who's there?" Kanato spoke as he moved the candle around. Suddenly, he heard footsteps from behind. Kanato turned around but, saw no one there. " Who's there? Show yourself!" Kanato shouted at the unknown intruder.

 Then, he heard a phone ringing nearby. Kanato walked down the halls, searching to see if there was any sign of the intruder. He saw the ringing phone laying on the table. Kanato was hesitant to pick up the phone. He didn't know if he should ignore the phone or answer the mysterious caller. Kanato looked around before placing Teddy on the table and picking up the phone. " Hello?" he placed his ear to the phone. Kanato waited for a response, but there was none. " Hello!? Answer the phone already!" Kanato grunted. After a few moments, Kanato hanged up the phone. He grunted in frustration as he picked up Teddy. Suddenly, Kanato began to hear a woman humming. Kanato looks up as he thought ' It's the intruder, she must be upstairs.' 

He quickly rushes to the rooftop, holding the lit candle above his head. Kanato kicks down the door open, he breaths heavily as he looks around. Kanato tried to best to see through the harsh wind and heavy rain. His candle had been put out by the time he got outside. " Where are you? I know you're here!" Kanato threw the candle aside while shouting. " Darling?" a soft voice spoke from behind him. Kanato turns around to see the decreased bride standing in front of him. "You!" Kanato growled at the woman. " Please be calm, I just want to talk" the woman spoke. "Get away from me, go back to that coffin and never return" Kanato backs away from her. "Please listen, I'm sorry that I scared you back at the forest" the woman begged as she took a step forward. " No! You followed me, broke into my home, and now you're asking for forgiveness?! Are you insane?" Kanato yelled as he kept moving backwards. The woman noticed he was getting too close to the edge of the roof. " Stop! You're going to..." the woman warned Kanato. However, Kanato managed to slip backwards and fall off the roof. Kanato noticed that he was heading towards the ground. He held his teddy close and closed his eyes as he braced for impact. However, Kanato was shocked to feel a pair of arms wrapped from behind him. " Don't worry, I won't let you get hurt" the voice whispered. Kanato recognized the voice to be the decreased bride. 'Did she jump after me? Why would she do that?' he thought to himself. The bride held the vampire in her arms as she smiled lovely at him. She placed a small kiss on the top of his head, the bride closed her eyes while grinning. Before they could hit the ground, everything went black.
