Bon's pov:

It was his birthday today.

I am Bondita Das, I am a doctor in profession. My best friends that is saudamini and anirudh the one I love. Long ago I fell in love with him and today I will tell him about my feelings to him.

I wore his favourite colour dress that is yellow with jhumka, payal in my leg, few bangles on wrist and hair opened. I didn't did much make up, I just applied kajal in eyes, lipstick and a bindi that's all.

Bon's look

I drive the car to the hall of party and was about to enter when I saw something which made me stumble back in shock and pain.

I saw anirudh proposing mini in front of everyone and she happily accepted it. I felt like someone snatched away the ground under my leg.

They both hugged each other and everyone was congratulating them. I was standing at the door like a statue while tears were flowing from my eyes. It was paining very very much, my heart was exploding in pain.

I was about to propose him, why god why it's me? No if they really love each other I can't come in between them. I will drink this venom of love and pain but never ever come in between them.

I wiped my tears and went towards them. Anirudh picked me up holding my waist and twirls me around while everyone was laughing. They know that we are childhood friend and things like this is common between us.

"Bondita I am so happy, I am finally getting married to my love" he said before putting me down in floor

"Congratulations Ani but ( to mini ) your taste is really bad mini, you should have chosen someone else "I said teasingly, forgetting about my pain.

_Wait a minute what do you mean by this" he asked me raising his eyebrows

"You are such a donkey still she chosen you" I said teasingly before taking steps backward

"I am a donkey "he asked before coming towards me

"Yes "I said before moving back

"Wait let me tell you who is donkey" he said before running behind me

I ran away as fast as I can while everyone again started laughing at us.

The party got over and I went back to my house with my parents. As soon as I entered the room, I closed the door and went inside the bathroom.

I was sitting under the shower and drenching myself in the water of pain. I cried my heart out keeping my hand on my mouth so that no one could hear my sobs and scream.

I was inside the bathtub, I don't know how long I have been sitting there lifelessly. I went back to room and got changed. I was laying on bed lifelessly, I was feeling like someone snatched my soul from me.

Next morning,

I got up with pale face as I didn't slept whole night. I went downstairs for breakfast, I wasn't feeling like eating but I have to otherwise everyone will get suspicious.

I got know from my parents that Ani and Mini's marriage date was fixed and it was after one week.

I don't know why they are hurrying so much but maybe Ani can't stay away from mini. I know him very well he is a jealous, possessive and dominating type of person.

I was in house when Ani came in my house and took me for shopping.

"Bondi you know na I have really bad taste so can you please help in my shopping "he said with puppy face

How can I say no to this cute, adorable baby. I said yes and I got ready quickly and we went for shopping.

Bon's look

In shopping mall,

I was choosing kurta for Ani and gave him one red colour kurta for trail. He went inside the changing room while I went on selecting dress.

I was busy choosing clothes when suddenly two boys came and stood either side of me. They were looking at me with lusty eyes which was making me very much uncomfortable.

I didn't said anything and went on doing my work when out of nowhere a hand touches my waist inappropriately. I was about to slap the person but before I could he fell in ground in thud.... making everyone look at us.

I was shocked at and looked at my side only to find a fuming Ani who's eyes were red in anger and jaw clenched. The second person tried to hit him but Ani knocked him up too.

"How dare you haan....how dare you touch my girl" he said holding the person's collar

But the only two words roaming around my brain was MY GIRL....

He was beating him ruthlessly, oh god I have to stop him otherwise he will kill the person. I was about to go towards him when I saw that the second person was going to hurt Ani with knife from behind.

I rushed towards him and just when the second person was about to stab him, I stood behind Ani and the knife hurted my shoulder. I screamed in pain while Ani looks behind and holds me.

And that's when the police came and took them, maybe someone from the stop called the police.

"Bondi are you alright" he asked he concernly

I nodded but actually it was hurting my shoulder was hurting.

"You are bleeding "he said tensly

"Ani..."I was about to say something but he glared me.

"Excuse me do you have first aid box in the shop" he asked the salesman

"Yes sir" the salesman said and brought the first aid box

Ani took me inside the changing room and made me sit on couch which was there and sat behind me.

"Bondi you....actually can you....I mean... Can I..." He was stammering for my permission, I nodded in yes.

He kept all my hairs on other shoulder and slowly pushed down the sleeves down. I shivered in his touch and clutched my dress, closing my eyes.

My shoulder was exposed to him. He took a cotton and cleaned my wound. As he was cleaning it I wince in pain while he blows at my wound making me bit my lower lip to control my moan.

His hot breath over my exposed shoulder was doing something inside me. He slowly applies the medicine at my wound and bandaged it properly before sliding my sleeve on my shoulder, carefully making sure not to hurt me.

"Done" he said before keeping the medicine back to the first aid box. I turned to face him and hugged him making him shock.

"Thank you "I said

"Bondi as long as you are with me it's my responsibility to protect you" he said

Responsibility....am I just his responsibility, yes what else can I be.

I fake smiled and we went out of changing room. He changed back to normal clothes.

"You are really lucky to have such a boyfriend" the saleswoman said

"She is not my girlfriend, she is my best friend" Ani said hesitatingly

"Ohh sorry" the saleswoman said while looked at Ani sadly

After taking the bags we went towards the car and ani dropped me at my house. Well everyone got tensed after knowing about what happened in mall.

My family members thanked Ani. Everyone was happy but am I happy too....
