Something I never thought I would ever want to do is wake up after I fall asleep. Whenever I went to sleep, I would hope I'd never wake up. But this time, it was.. different.. It was different because my life had changed. I met two girls who actually liked and.. cared for me. I now had two friends.. no.. best friends.

I opened my eyes and felt thrilled, there they were. 'So.. I wasn't imagining them..?' I thought. Honestly, yesterday I thought that I was just imagining them, but could it be that there were people who really didn't care about my bloodline? If this was true, I think I've found these people.. But if this were a dream..I wouldn't want to wake up.. ever.

"Morning Y/n!" I heard Hima shout from the entrance of the cave, walking inside. "Oh, morning Y/n!" Ariya said, looking over to me and away from a pencil she was sharpening. "Morning you two!" I answered back, getting up from my laying down position.

"Y/n, I've got something for you, c'mere." Ariya said as she picked something up from the ground. I walked over to her, furrowing my brows in confusion as I neared her. "Listen, it's nothing special okay? I don't know what you like but I got this drawing book for you. S-so here." She said, shoving a slightly thick book with a nicely tied f/c ribbon on top. I looked at Ariya, her eyes were avoiding mine, she was pouting, and you could see she was slightly blushing through her dark skin. I quickly moved my eyes down to look at the newly received present, admiring it. It had a f/c cover, the back was the same color as well, it didn't have any decorations but I didn't mind.

"Well!? Are you just gonna stare at it or open it?! Idiot.." Ariya yelled, snapping me out of my thoughts. "Oh! Sorry, hehe." I said, giggling as I reached out a hand to pull at the end of one of the sides of the ribbon. As I opened the book, there was some writing on the first page. "Um.. Ariya.. I can't read.." I said, looking at the ground as I nervously smiled. "Oh, give me it then, I'll read it to you." I handed it to her, she cleared her throat and began, "Dear y/n.. You're our friend now, and you're very important to us. So me and Hima came up with something that friends wear, I think it's called a friendship bracelet..? Anyways, me and Hima saw that you can draw (fairly) good, se we got this sketch book for you. I hope you like it." And as she finished, she grabbed something out of her pocket, it was a bracelet just like she said in the book. The string was a thin, silver, and braided rope. There were two f/c leaf charms, and in between them was a silver charm, and imbedded in it was "𝚈/𝚗 𝙷𝚒𝚖𝚊 𝙰𝚛𝚒𝚢𝚊". She then proceeded to grab my hand and put it on my wrist.

Hima came running towards us and I saw that she and Ariya had them too, Ariya's was her favorite color, blue, and Hima's was pink, which was the color she mostly liked. "Girls! Arthur's followers are here! And they're looking for y/n." She said as she pointed her finger outside, her eyes were angry but with a hint of worry in them. "That little- that's it. Let's go." Ariya said as she grabbed a wooden bat and walked in front of us. The three of us rushed out.

"You monster!" "Manipulator!" "What did you do?!" The kids yelled, they were all yelling at me, pointing accusing fingers and blaming me for something. "What the hell do you brats want?!" Ariya yelled, and they all quieted down. Silence.

"I ASKED YOU A QUESTION!" Ariya yelled, looking very angry, veins popping out at the side of her face. "Can't you see? Y/n is a monster and she's manipulating you two to be her friends! She's evil!" Someone yelled. I looked at Ariya but I couldn't see her expression, I then looked at Hima and she was looking at the ground, her bangs were covering her face. '..Did they believe them..?' I thought as I felt tears start forming at the side of my eyes, I looked down, but my head quickly snapped to look at Ariya, from whom I heard laughter come from. "Haha.. do you guys really expect me to believe that? DO YOU THINK I'M DUMB?! Y/N IS AN AMAZING PERSON, NOT A MONSTER, THE REAL MONSTERS HERE ARE YOU GUYS WHO HAVE BEEN HURTING HER FOR NO SHITTY REASON!" Ariya screamed, and as if I couldn't get even more surprised, Hima opened her mouth, "YOU'RE ALL SO STUPID, YOU'VE BEEN HURTING SOMEONE WHO DOESNT EVEN DESERVE IT! Y/N DESERVES THE WORLD, HER BLOODLINE DOESN'T DETERMINE WHO SHE IS! SHE'S A KIND GIRL WHO ONLY WANTS LOVE! YOU DUMBASSES!" Hima yelled, and I then realized she was crying too, the tears falling from her eyes were out of frustration, and anger.

I heard footsteps come from behind us, the three of us looked back simultaneously and saw it was Arthur. "The fuck do you want? Piece of shit." Ariya said, walking in front of me in a protective position. "Calm down, I'm not gonna do anything." Arthur said, putting his hands up as if he was surrendering. "Sure.." Hima said, staring at him. "I'm here to get them to leave you guys alone." He said, walking past us and facing the other kids. "Come on guys, leave them alone." He said. "Why should we?! She's a mons-" "Just leave her alone. We were wrong, I guess she is a bit nice.." Arthur said, looking to the side. "B-but Arthur! Shouldn't we do something about this?" "Are you guys disobeying me?" Arthur asked, with an intimidating face. "No sir.." most of the kids said, beginning to walk away. After they all left, I asked him a question, "Arthur.. why did you help me?" "..I realized that, if you're so powerful and we've been hurting you this whole time, wouldn't you have done something bad to us? And also.. I guess you're pretty nice.." he said, looking away from us, but I could see his ears were a bit red. "..I see, thank you Arthur!" I said, smiling at him. "S-Stop! Don't smile at me, d-dumbass!" He said, his face burning red as he pointed at me. I began laughing, so he sighed and walked away, grumbling things under his breath.

"I see what he's doing.. I won't allow it!" Ariya said, she was staring intensely at Arthur, who was barely visible. "Aww! I see what he's doing! That's cute!" Hima said as she smiled while cupping her face. I was confused. "What? What is he doing?" I asked, looking at the two of them. "Oh, don't worry about it Y/n." Hima said, "Yeah.. Don't worry.." Ariya muttered. "Well, either way, I guess today was a somewhat normal day, right?" Hima asked, "Yeah.. A normal day.." I answered.
