stella doesn't appear to have many scars at first glance, but if you were to examine her hands, she has many little marks and nicks scattered around. many are from her scissors, and some are from having her left hand slapped so many times by her tutor in her younger years.
as well as those, stella has a sizeable

stella has a mole on her right pinkie that she's always had, as far as she can recall.

𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐘
estrella is the court's coward. combined with her inability to socialize with anyone she isn't fully comfortable with, her fears of nearly every court member are obvious from a kindred kilometres away, maybe two. she speaks in a higher pitched voice, becomes incredibly skittish, even flinches... she does not trust the majority of the court. they are all scary in her eyes, with their big voices and their eyes that she can't tell what they're thinking.
her outer shell presents itself as socially awkward and shy. stella has incredible difficulty expressing herself and has a noticeably passive demeanour. she has rarely stood up for her own desires, choosing rather to keep quiet and to suffer through the things that she doesn't enjoy rather than burden somebody with her idea of being picky or spoiled by speaking up. stella will agree with almost anything she is asked to agree with, as she does not enjoy the confrontation that could arise should she have a different opinion; for example, stella has open support for the regent because she feels that she is expected to. her friends all seem to support her, so therefore stella does as well in order to avoid a fight or any form of confrontation whatsoever. in fact, stella doesn't even like the regent. she doesn't like either of her limited options of who to support, but feels the need to follow the status quo in order to fly under the radar. so as a result, stella tends to walk through life with her eyes downcast, nodding towards whatever anyone says no matter what the words happen to be. stella's interactions with those she is not familiar with tend to be awkward because she puts herself in an awkward bubble and is never quite sure how to act.  she is incredibly socially awkward, her face flushing at even the most basic of greetings. she quickly forgets how to act, often-times either getting overly excited and rambling or becoming overly shy and facing her feet, muttering incomprehensibly until one of her friends usually comes to save her. in court meetings, stella hardly looks up or says a word unless she is prompted to, or unless one of her friends are around. she feels hopelessly out of place, swimming in a sea of sophisticated and power-hungry sharks when all she really wants to do is look at the coral.
but, when stella becomes comfortable around somebody, her feathers begin to emerge, and she's a very nice young woman. stella can become a cheeky little jokester, ever-so-sweet and playful as she pokes fun at her friends. for someone who rarely speaks in the presence of most people, many are often surprised to hear that she often runs her mouth dry talking with her friends about anything from flowers to kintah. she has a big heart and a big mouth, but only uses both when she feels ultimately comfortable doing so.
stella has an immense fear of disapproval, and even though her mother has long since left their estate, she often finds herself wondering how to please her. she knows that she's the useless child, the one who never became anything, but she still works hard to try and make her parents proud. being chosen by her father to go and represent their family in court (kind of a default choice since he himself has many injuries and doesn't enjoy moving around often if he cannot help it) was no honour, it was an extra burden. stella does so horribly in social situations that it's become laughable, but what's even worse is that now she has the extra burden of having to not only please her father, but represent her entire family name, and to do so well. has she succeeded even slightly thus far? no. she's laughable in court at best, and ashamed at home.
most of all, stella day dreams and fantasizes constantly, always finding herself caught in fantasy worlds. her biggest fantasy? leaving her home and finding refuge in the beautiful land of kintah, and more importantly, sharing that new home with her best friends in the whole world.

𝐎𝐏𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒
- ETHERIVA: stella, frankly, doesn't care about it. they've done bad things, she knows, but she also knows that many of the people there must be lovely and must also enjoy the same teas that she does, so why would she be angry at it? she knows of their existence, but just does not care.
- AUREYDOR: this one is tricky. the land in itself, stella has no qualms with. there's good and bad people just like what she believes ethaeriva is like, but the bad people scare her, so she does feel more strongly about the bad people where she lives. sure, that's natural, but when stella begins to think about everything about her own life specifically there is when she begins to absolutely despise aureydor. she absolutely detests court meetings, and frequently leaves them to cry, not to mention the shame she carries for being such a burden to her family. she can never escape the feeling of not being good enough for them, and even at home, frequently fantasizes about running away and never seeing her father ever again in order to escape reality. the only things stella seems to enjoy about her homeland are her friends, but even they are growing into people she isn't sure of anymore. stella knows that some major things are about to go down in the court, she can sense it, and just hopes to get her and her friends out of there before it's both too late to leave and too late to have her friends leave with her.
- KINTAH: stella thinks about kintah every day. she wakes up with it on her mind, falls alseep with it in her heart, and dreams about it like a child - 'kintah' could be mistaken to the ignorant as her lover, the way she treats the idea of it. there, it all seems so much less scary, so much less complicated. maybe if she went there, she could finally look people in the eyes without worrying for her safety. she could start a farm and make necklaces for mermaids and other creatures, and maybe even learn to swim. there would be no court meetings, no family to worry about letting down, and no father. god, stella wants to go there so badly. she wants to escape the never-ending embarrassement that she feels in her homeland, and, with her friends, become someone that she's actually proud of. they could live there  - just the three of them - without disruption until they became wrinkled and the soil took them, and stella would smile on her way down.
